However, a hand recount won’t strip Biden of his 14k vote lead in the state. A hand recount, or any other type of recount will, at best, flip a few 100 votes to either Trump or Biden.

Biden doesn’t have to “support” the recount. Georgia law says it’s automatic once the margin is within 0.5%.
So, it’s immaterial that either Trump or Biden calls for a recount in GA
