Christianity EtcRe: What If Christianity Was A Sham? by batu: 12:41pm On Mar 16, 2007
babaearly:
Guys what will you be? what will the world be? if we later found out that Christianity was a sham!
@babaearly, KAG, Nferyn et al,
So, what if christianity was a sham? hmmmm!!!, then that will be the best sham in existence; making it better and more sensible than the "real shams" i.e a life of unbridled and idolatrous hedonism (a.k.a Islam), confounded logic (a.k.a atheism/secular humanity), unrestrained delusion (a.k.a buddhism, sikhism, shintoism, ogun worship, etc)

Acts 4 vs 12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (other than the name of Jesus the Christ)

So, if "you" think it is or could be a sham, then I'll rather be foolish to "you"; but be wise in the sight of God. Blessing.
PoliticsSultan Of Sokoto: Inec Not Serious! by batu(op): 12:17pm On Mar 16, 2007
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Mohammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, yesterday described the Independent National Electoral Comm-ission (INEC) as unserious and ill-prepared for the April 2007 general elections.
The Sultan added that it was wrong for INEC to carry on as if all was okay with the preparations for the polls when there are widespread discontentment by Nigerians over sundry issues pertaining to the April elections.
Addressing Northern traditional rulers at the Arewa House Kaduna at a summit incidentally organised by INEC for royal fathers from the region "On the 2007 Election and Role of Traditional Rulers," the Sultan, also warned the commission to abide by all court rulings regarding the April elections to avoid confusion, noting that the commission must not allow itself to be used as a launch-pad for any forms of violence.

@All,
Well, it is high time somebody tell this indolent monarch to: SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!
Arabic removed from naira, he screams out and needed personal education by the CBN governor. INEC doing their best to prevent proven 'barawos' from contesting the next election, and he is making unguarded statemensts that could further undermine the integrity of the electoral body.
Nigeria is no longer an extension of the Sokoto caliphate, as it used to be! While he is entitled to his opinion as a Nigerian just like myself, his position should place some intellectual restrains on his mouth and utterances. Nonsense!!!
Christianity EtcRe: Pope Called Son Of God: Blasphemy? by batu: 3:56pm On Mar 15, 2007
babaearly:
the writing on the pope's mitre says " vicarius fili dei " meaning " the son of God" please the only Son of God i know is Jesus the Christ then why is this fella impersonating God? Blasphemy i think! angry
@babaearly,
According to the infallible word of God i.e The Bible; EVERY Bible believing, Born-again Christian, who is Saved by the Grace of God through Faith only in Jesus Christ(Acts 4:12), is a Son of the Living God.
God said so Himself in Matthew, and also through the Apostles in Romans, Hebrews, Galatians, etc.
Therefore, I can boldly say I am a Son of God! because I am a Bible believing, born again Christian, and I believe that my salvation is not of works, but by the Grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, the first Son of God who is my Lord and Saviour.

If the Pope can say that of himself, then he is also a Son of God. However, Sonship of God is NOT in the title you have, or position you occupy (e.g Bishop, Pope, Pastor, Evangelist or Head Usher, Area Pastor, etc), it is through personal faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross as atonement for sin, and in ressurection of Jesus Christ.
In other words, Sonship is about the personal relationship with God, and not in title or tradition. Peace!

@lysaa,
Dear madam;, I have followed this discussion for some time and I observed that you rebuked Davidylan by equating "criticism" with "judgement" among others. This is unfortunate, and could be seen as an escape theology. In financial matters, just as well as doctrinal issues; we christians and the church need to understand that whatever we do or refuse to do has the potential to either bring honour or dishonour to the name of the Lord who we profess as our Saviour. As such we need to be extremelycareful. Listen to what the Lord Jesus said through Apostle Paul, especially relating to financial matters in the early church in 2nd Corinthians 8 vs19-21, with attention to the portion in bold:

",,,,,,,And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:
Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us: Providing for honest things not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men."

As you can see, using "touch not my anointed" or "do not judge" in such a similar issue as is being discussed is quite unfortunate and is an example of a wrong use of scriptures. Churches need to be over and above board in all matters, finacial matters inclusive.

Should we call the above error of ommission or deliberate ommission? We are now seeing the real blabber.
smiley smiley
@ blabs787,
People like you are described as "half-literate and half illitrate" tongue. It is so glaring that your half-education is a dangerous thing, but probably you are the most 'educated' in your neighbourhood. See 'olodo' trying to correct English with a bigger error: "as always" is a short phrase referring to "as you blabs always do"; which is to ask questions because you have no information. But to you, the 'son-of-Adedibu blabs787', the correct phrase should have been "has always", abi? You are quite an intellectually indolent fellow; like father like son; you are a product of amala education. grin

Now to the idols you worship, Allah(i.e Hubal), and the daughters al-Lat, al-Uzzah and Manat; so what's the difference between the revised version you posted and the one I posted before?. Dont you see that no amount of your incomprehensible 'shakara' can hide the truth? Even, more intelligent and pious Oustasses than you try to defend it by saying "it was a slip of Muhammed's tongue caused by Satan" when 'Allah' was giving him the verses; how stupid! Imagine a true prophet of the true God being deceived by Satan, No way! Why were they abrogated and then revised? Use the educated half of your brain, blabs787 and stop making a big fool of yourself. Try and make your folks proud! You are not up to the level of the peoples on this forum with your defective intellect.

babs787:
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but will want you to give me the verse(s) of the daughter of Allah.
Maa Salam
@Backslider and blabs787 and others,
(A) Backslider mentioned the allah "daughter-gate" scandal, and blabs787 as always requests for the verse. I now provide the quranic verse and results of further research on the three daughter goddess of allah called al-lat, al-Uzza and Mannat. Enjoy:

(an-najim Sura 53:19-22):
Near is the garden of abode. Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded in mystery unspeakable; His sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong! For truly did he see, of the signs of his Lord, the Greatest!  Have ye seen "Lat and Uzzah, And another, the third goddess, Mannat"? These are the exalted cranes (intermediates) whose intercession is to be hoped for.  What! for you the males sex, and for Him, the females? Behold, such would be a division most unfair!

[Note: muhammed later claimed that the line in red colour above was given to him by satan, and it was "deleted" from the koran, but the rest remained till today in the koran, even the names of the daughter goddesses]

(B) And now for some explanation on who or what are al-Lat, al-Uzzah and Mannat, read this:

Allah is the name of the only God in Islam. It was also the name of the chief god among the numerous idols in the Kaaba in Mecca. Many believe the word was derived from the middle eastern word "el" which in Ugaritic, Caananite and Hebrew can mean a true or false God. According to the encyclopedia of Religion, Allah corresponded to the Babylonian god Baal, and Arabs knew of him long before Muhammad worshipped him as the supreme. Allah was the god of the local Qurish tribe of whom was Muhammad's tribe before he invented Islam to lead his people out of their polytheism. Allah was known as the Moon God, of which he had 3 daughters who were viewed as intercessors for the people into Allah. Their names were Al-Lat, Al-uzza, and Al-Manat, which were three goddesses. Hubal (Ba3l) was the chief God of the Kaaba among the other 360 deities. The Kaabah in Mecca is also named Beit-Allah (House of Allah). The Koran Tells us that Muhammad drove the other idols away; he made one God now the only god and he was its messenger. Muhammad used the name Allah, which was of a specific idol without ever distinguishing it from the idol the Meccans were already worshipping… These names show the devotion of Muhammad's pagan roots, and also prove that Allah was part of a polythiestic system of worship before Allah was made the supreme and only god from the other God's. This should be proof to the pre Islamic root of the name of Allah to the Muslim, remember they were pagans who use this name. The crescent moon was the symbol of the moon God Allah and is used as a symbol of Islam today. Today there is "hardly" a Muslim that knows it's origin. It was an ancient pagan fertility symbol that is found throughout the middle east.

So therefore, need we say more about the idolatory called Islam?
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus' Tomb Revealed. Jesus Wasn't Resurrected by batu: 3:56pm On Feb 26, 2007
- Maybe christianity wouldn't have been under such massive and insistent attacks if it's adherents had had the common sense of readjusting their doctrine  to accept what most people already know that christianity is just one of the routes,and not the ONLY route to the heavens.

- But the fact remains that christianity was built on a very dubious and shaky foundation,which leaves it open and vulnerable to perpetual scrutinies and attacks,putting christians permanently on the defensive.
Maybe it is time for the religion to turn inwards and start a little bit of soul searching.

- As for Cameron's docu,i doubt if he is going to unleash anything new to the world,concerning the allegedly dubious ressurection of christ,when so much literature has been expended on the possibility that Jesus was never crucified in the first place.
@Prof Syrup and Cute-ass;
When I read the attacks of modern day "Liars" on Christianity, I laugh; because if only they know a little bit of history maybe an "uncommon sense" will have given them understanding. Let me help out a little:
---> (1) In the early times of christianity:
-Apostle Paul was led outside the city gate and then was beheaded for his faith
-Elder Peter was crucified up-side down for his faith
-Elder James was killed in a most violent way
-Stephen was stoned to death outside the city gate for his faith, etc, etc
---> (2) Now let's go to the Roman Collosieum, and see the facts of history which are documented and still available :
- A christian Lady called Perpetual was suspended from a net in the collosieum, and raging bulls with brass tipped horn were released to charge and gore her to death for her faith
- The early Roman christians were "sports" for entertainment of the huge crowd in the collosieum, they were released into the arena and hungry lions set on them to devour them for refusing to accept Caesar as Lord and sticking to Christ.
- Some did not even have the benefit of being devoured by lions but were just tied to the stake and burned
---> (3) Now let's move closer and nearer to numerous religious persecutions in Northern Nigeria, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and count the number of churches burnt, christians killed etc.

Now what's the point? The point's are: If with all these historically recorded, horrendous physical and mental attacks on 'faith in Jesus Christ called christianity', the body of christ was and is still waxing stronger and growing as it is; then you can know that not a loud-mouthed Dan-Brown, nor confused filmaker Cameron, nor pointless secular humanism/liberalism, nor peadophilic prophet muhammed and his anti-christ ideology of Islam, etc can reduce or take away the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, maybe there are many different types of Heaven (e.g utopia for hippies, al-Jannat for Islam, etc) but Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father. (God bless you, Syrup, for that statement)
Again I say: you can discredit a lie with the Truth, but you can never discredit the Truth with a lie

@Syrup,
you are indeed a brilliant mind: there is another brilliant lady who writes intelligently like you on this forum called Shahan or something but I've not read from her for some time.
I read your intuitive post above: you've shown how the Liars are contradicting themselves about Jesus Christ ("Let God be true, and Let all men be liars"wink
The reason they will continue contradicting themselves about the Truth i.e Jesus Christ, is simply because: 'You can discredit a lie with the Truth, but you can never discredit the Truth with a lie.' Very simple!

Hello my people, i read all about what u had said about Arabic words and Letters on Naira Notes. Lets me starts this way that Arabic words u are seeing on the Naira notes is not a sign of whether u're Muslim, number 1, secondly the northerners was well organised before coming of the colonial masters, they have there ways of governance. 1st point, the Hausas was using that pattern of writing with that same of the Arabic text before the colonial came to Naija, when they came and met the Hausas their own ways 4 them to avoid problems they aloud them with their system in to government, because in the history of Africa, i mean the whole of Africa Sir Abubakar Tabawa Balewa was called with a title by the white people "The golden voice of Africa" if all of u could remember this, whats the big deal about Arabic letters in Nig. notes, the other English words in Nig. notes it's your FATHER'S words. lets be sincere to our selfs, the person ahead of u is always ahead of u. SHEGU DAYAN AKUYOYI.
@Nass,
Aside from your poor command of english grammar; your ignorance of history is quite obvious from your story, and it's probably because you did not ask any question when you were told this concorted lies. In fact, your post brings olny one picture to mind: Half-illitrate and Half-literate. (no offence wink )
So the "Hausa's have their ways of governance" before the colonial masters came, what about the Ibo and the Yorubas? Are you saying they do not have their own Obaship, Kingdoms, Domains, Obi etc with lesser kigdoms paying homage and taxes to bigger kingdoms?

What "problems where the colonial masters trying to avoid"? No! they "were not trying to avoid any problem"; but creating problems by delibrately tilting the power in favour of the relatively politically docile north, as against the more educationally and politically active southerners who were more likely to challenge them. Go down the history of the fight for independence of Nigeria, you will see that it was championed by the southerners; peoples like Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ukpabi Asika, Anthony Enahoro, Obafemi Awolowo, etc. In fact, history records it that indepence would have been achieved in the fifties but northern elites told the british government that "Nigeria is not ready for independence". Now you know why the British will rather favour the north politically as colonial masters in order to consolidate it's hold on the juicy Nigerian resources.

Divide and Rule is the name of the Machiavellian game that the British Empires uses very well to consolidate their hold in all their colonial enclaves all over the world: and it is still the source of the problem in Nigeria, as in most places today. But now, we need to move on; a good way to move on and champion our destiny is getting a good understanding of our past history.
The restiveness in the Niger Delta and the millitants are products of the bigger picture of pre-independece power games manifesting, for example, as "Arabic inscription on Naira notes" among others. Let's say it as it is. But as I said, let's move on by knowing past history.

I agree with you completely; I just find it unfortunate that a group are deceived by the funny statistics, shows obvious inability to comprehend. If I am a muslim (thank God I'm not), I will wonder why islam/muslims are still in the minority in the same Europe despite the so-called "fastest growing religion" claim since the 70s. The I will wonder that propably: the rate of increase of muslim's population in europe/west from high migration and high birth rate is probably equal to the rate at which muslims (young and old) are converting away from Islam into christianity or freethinkers after getting a good understanding or taste of grace, freedom, human right and liberty respectively, which if freely available without threat of beheading in the West.

In the above, the jews are regarded to as the children while gentiles is referred to as Dogs.

He also said
Mathew 7v6: Do not give that which is holy TO THE DOGS neither cast your pearls to the PIGS.
@blabs787,
To answer your question above, I will use the method that Jesus use frequently to counter or answer questions asked by ignorant loud-mouthed, unschooled peoples with not much wisdom or revelation, but who always shout the loudest (e.g self righteous pharisees, and pharisee-like peoples such as yourself blab787).
Jesus usually ask them a question to answer their question. Now since you wanted to know the explanation of the verse you quoted, I ask you: (1) what was the woman's respose to the statement of Jesus you quoted above?; and then (2) what did Jesus say finally to the woman?.
The answers can be found in the next 2 verses to help you; and you will know that Jesus is not a low-life prejudicial 'scumbag' like Muhammed or his idol god called allah, to be calling people pigs "literarily".
Christianity EtcRe: The Reason For So Much Anti-Christianity by batu: 12:56am On Feb 21, 2007
It seems that Allah's little trick by making Judas appear like Jesus, so Jesus could escape crucifixion and Judas was crucified in his place, kind of backfired, since 31% of the world's population never learned Allah played a trick and really believes that Jesus not only died, but was raised from the dead! This should be most troubling for Muslims to think that "Allah's deception" (Qur'an 4:156) actually became the world's largest religion!
@all,
So, according to the Koran, It was not Jesus that was crucified!. But Allah substituted him at the last minute and made Judas (I thought it was a Simon) to be crucified instead i.e Allah played a trick; changing the appearance of Judas or Simon to Jesus who was then crucified while Jesus escaped. But, that deception by Mr "Allah" has now become the largest faith in the world. Waoh! This only proves a number of things:

(1) The "Allah" of the Koran must be one sloppy god and a poor strategist because his trick backfired.
(2) It is quite unlikely that the God described in the Bible is the same as the sloppy "Allah" of the Koran.
(3) Maybe the writer of the Koran is confused about substitutionary atonement
(Sura 5 vs.82):
1. Jews are enemies

"Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans;"

2. Christians are devoted men of learning and not arrogant

"and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, 'We are Christians': because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

1. Both Jews and Christians are regarded as enemies (Sura 5 vs.51)

"O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."

Now add to these the hatred quoted earlier that you're referring to about the slaying of non-Muslims. My question still remains: at whatever point in Muhammad's career, why did he hate Jews and Christians so much that even the Qur'an could not conceal this hatred?
@4getme,
The answer to your question might not be far fetched. Muhammed hate the Jews and Christians most likely because they told him he is a confused man with his new brand of polytheism potrayed as monotheism. History records that Muhammed tried to present his new ideology of Islam to the Jews and Christians but he was rejected as a prophet and his ideology of islam was also rejected. As a proud nationalistic arab, his anger at the rejection is understandable.

Probably the first part you quoted above was the revelation he "received" when he was trying to woo the Arab Christians into Islam; but upon his rejection, he "received" the revelation not to keep them as friends and/or to kill them all. How convenient! Very much like a sulking little child when his friends refused to play with him. Sallam

I think someone should take a trip just like I did and not just equate village scenery in Yorabland to what we experienced. Remember, I also hail from South West Nigeria and I know what obtains there. The worship of One God cannot be equated to idol-worshipping or Jesus-worshipping.
@Nuru,
Why not? The purpose of the analogy is to point out your erroneous conclusion about your perceived association between "peace and tranquility" of Daura and Islam. If we go by your thinking then the "peace and tranquility" in my village in south west nigeria is due to the idol worshippers. You can see you are the one equating idol worshipping to allah-worshipping. After all, if the "peace/tranquility" in Daura is due to allah-worshipping, then I can assume that the "peace/tranquility" in my village is probably due to idol worshipping. Then allah and the idols are co-equal: that is probably right; I am convinced from a lot of posts I have read on this forum about the evidence of idolatory in Islam.
But try and open up your mind; the quiteness of Daura and my village is simply because they are both economic backwaters, and nothing to do with 'allah and the other idols'. Logical thinking, bro.

@mr Nuru,
If you travel to my yoruba village in south-west Nigeria composed of predominatly traditional worshippers (and a little christian and muslim population), you and your colleagues will also feel like retiring there. Because of the "relative peace and tranquility" that envelope the town; and in addition, people go to farms and leave their doors open and farmers leave their farm goods by the roadside, and if you want to buy anything, you pick it and leave the money. By your logic, these could only have been because of traditional (idol) worshipping virtues, abi? You see how confounded your logic is.
Daura, like my village, is an economic backwater hence the gentle easy-going lifestyle; it is only because of politics in Nigeria that a place like Daura becomes a state capital. The crime rate in Tehran (capital of islamic iran) or in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) almost equals that of London because they are all burstling cities.
As per your wife, she can still go back to Saudi and she will be contented with walking behind you, not able to drive a car, cannot vote and be equated to donkeys among other "dignities that Islam accords women".
Try to be objective in your attempt at glorifying what is inglorious i.e. Islam.

@bro Belloti,
What you are seeing in the exchange between Davidylan et goodguy is not just "sorting out process", that will be simplistic. It is part of a process of seeking wisdom of/from God that is actively encouraged at the 'individual' level in Christianity. It is about intellectual, scripture backed exchanges that aim to increase the participants in knowing more of the mind and thought of God in every situation-that is part of having a "relationship" with God.
By your 'sorting out' opinion, you think christians are in disagreement, Yes and No. The point is there are different levels of understanding, and that will always be obvious in discussions but Christianity was sorted out long time ago.
You see it as "sorting out" simply because such "critical appraisal" or "disagreement to agree" is not encouraged in Islam. Independent thinking is a discouraged concept in Islam; because such will reveal the weak foundation of the so-called Islamic faith.
There is nothing to sort out again in the "principles, teachings and doctrines of faith in Jesus Christ"; but individually, people differ and christians are encouraged to grow in their understanding of living in Christ. If you attempt to grow in your understanding of Islam, Muhammed and his teachings, apart from what the Oustass teach, you will see the light.

@all,
Thanks to peoples like Bulluti who refuse deception but choose clarification. So, it appears the author has a history of narcissistic personality traits on this forum from the few responses he's got. No wonder his warped attempt at distorting fact.
In this century. the definition of illiteracy will be expanded to include peoples like him (i.e AFAM) who refuse to seek knowledge but choose to base their judgement on prejudice. Happy viewing to 'Couch potato.' Kindly ignore him.

@Buluti and Davidylan,
Thanks to both of you for nice clarifications on this issue. If only the poster (Afam or whatever) could get further information before displaying his anti-semitic tendencies, he would not have sounded so ignorant and prejudicial in passing his judgement.
That's what happens to 'couch potatoes' whose source of information is only the TV.

Isha, Its not about the cane and the cries, Its a relationship between you and your Lord (however you want to look at it). And i think you should stop trying to be funny here, its not going to take you anywhere.
@Belloti,
He is not being funny but telling you the truth in a funny way. Hope you know the difference. It is true that in Islam, it is expressly permitted to 'flog' a child from the age of seven (7) either to make the child learn the Koran or for the female child to forcibly wear a hijab. So what kind of relationship between you and your lord needs to be cemented and developed in childhood by flogging,,,,,,except Slavery; and I mean slavery literarily which is what Islam is. You instill fear through cane in the child and then instill fear of death by beheading in adulthood. Is there any better description of bondage, dont think so.

Batu, i expected you to conclude your little story with "Hirse Ali was later discovered to be criminal and her status was withdrawn and humiliated in Holland". Anyway, you are welcome to the forum, hoping you will learn as you get over your JJC status.
grin grin grin
@Dear Alhaji Belloti,
You have an inglorious way of displaying your arrogance and ignorance by talking to people in a condescending manner. I have also read your imputs on the politics forum where you've rightly declared your unwavering support for another Islamic extremist by the name Buhari, and it is the same approach. While it is true I have fewer posts than you, it is quite clear that your posts are just numerous in quantity, but deficient in substance and quality. In addition you are always quick to scream "e gba mi o, personal attack o" whenever you opinion is thoroughly scrutinised.

So where did you learn that Ms Ayaan Ali was convicted of any criminal offence and humiliated in Holland? Is this an islamic thing of lying against a perceived "Mushrikun" or you are just sexing up your story to make her look bad. While it is true she openly confessed to lying when she was making her application for citizenship, you did not learn that she was pardoned. You know she made the application and lied as a MUSLIM (following prophet Muhammed's "good leadership" example permitting muslims to lie or break agreement in order to gain something from the enemy) after fleeing the early Somali conflict. But when she became a Christian, she decided to do the right thing by coming forward herself.
Belloti, Ms Ayaan Ali is a shinning example to the rest of you educated muslims; she decided to use her natural and academic wisdom to thorougly scrutinise her former faith of Islam, and she saw the light and left. The rest of you will benefit by doing the same thing, unless you refuse because of dogmatic ideology or just plainly incapable of an independent and intelligent reasoning.Sallam a leikum! wink

I read all the comments passed on the above issue with astonishment and find it a moral obligation to add my own comment to those ignorant people on the issue. i want to state it here categorically that if we want to really progress in this country we should vote for Buhari base on the following reason,,,,,,,,,,,,,
@Musy,
In your own words, you've definitely added your own comment to those of ignorant people on the choice of Buhari. Well done, bro! more ignorance to your elbow.

@Belloti,
What you've done is funny. You said Buhari is a candidate of choice but refused to post any credible thing about him; but rather decide to say Yar adua goes for dialysis weekly. Maybe you should go and ask a nurse (not even a doctor) living near you if it is possible for somebody doing dialysis on a "weekly basis" to rule for 8 years. Get your fact right before making ridiculous statements. It is obvious that your support for any candidate has an undertone of religion in it. I understood it was Yerima you supported, now it is Osama Buhari al Zarqawi. Yes, I know you said you and Yar adua are both sunni muslims, but it's likely you refuse to see any good in him because he is not an extremist like your favourite candidates, Yerima, Buhari. If Sheik Gumi had been alive, probably he would have been your prefered candidate

@All; kindly read this excerpt of an interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali in Metro newspaper of London city. Very interesting; and kindly pay attention to the highlighted portions. It is very relevant to your discussions and gives further credible insight into Islam.
==============================================================================

Brief Profile: Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a former Dutch politician of Somalian descent. She wrote the film "Submission: Part 1, that led a muslim extremist to shoot it's producer, Theo van Gogh. Ali was born in Somalia and claimed refugee status in Holland in the early 1990s.

Q.: You were brought up a devout muslim. What made you turn against the religion?.

ALI: I knew no better than to follow the path my parent had laid out for me. I didn'y question it seriously until after 9/11. Bin Laden defined the world into Muslims and non-Muslims, and these (i.e. non-muslms) had to either be converted or killed. I asked myself where I stood after I saw pictures of people jumping out of the WTC. As a muslim I had to ask if I agreed with that. I was saddened to see Bin Laden's citation were from the Koran and were consistent with the Islam I grew up with. It is just that we were passive until then. Now we had to take sides. I had completed a political science degree and could no longer use ignorance as an excuse. I had to take my own path.

Q.: Do you think multiculturalism has failed?

ALI: Yes, we can put it in the history books and be glad we've realised that now rather than in years ahead. We need to understand radical Islam's ideology, it's agent, the strategies it uses amd the group it targets. European and American leaders desperately want to disconnect the ideology from the religion of Islam, which is a mistake. Islam is a set of beliefs on which the ideology of Bin Laden is based. We need to appeal to Muslims and show them their faith has traits that aren't reconcillable with human progress and liberal society.(!!!!! Awesome politically-incorrect statement, NB emphasis is mine) In the United States, agents of radical Islam are targeting prison population. In Europe, it's universities; the kind of people who once flirted with communism. The biggest mistake we've made is regarding Islam as an ethnic thing. It is not. It is a set of beliefs that can be scrutinised. Instead of exposing the fallacires of those beliefs, we've told ourselves that every critisicism of Islam is some sort of racism - but Islam is not a race.!

Q.: Do you see any positive side to Islam?

ALI: That's like asking if I see positive sides to Nazism, communism, Catholicism. Of course Islam preaches generosity and kindness and taking care of elderly and so on - but these values are not limited to Islam. If you weigh what is provided in terms of kindness and humanity against the evil that can come from a society built on Islam, you will see that liberals must stand to this (i.e. Islam) like they've stood up to other ideologies.

@ batu,
Please could you give us a link to your citations above.
grin grin Dear mrpataki,
Interesting, you want a web site link to the 'omata declaration', you can also ask for the link or password to secret account of the mafioso.
Me, I no know if links exist for 'omata declarations'. I only heard of the term in aluta days in university among cult members on campus. As for the equation, I don't know if Islam translates into Demonic secret cults. Just curious, though. undecided
@bari-kade,
Well, you possibly heard right, but those you heard it from were probably wanna-be cultist who were just showing off. It means "silence", so you dont "hear" it; you either "see" it or "feel" it.
Well, the poser is just what it is, a question. Because the gentleman gave some statement about Islam, and I saw the striking analogy with the "Omata". After all, the is no compulsion to "join" them too and they also prescribe death for any deserter. The same characterise almost all cults, check it out! the aim is total obedience and control of members and to keep secret covered as you can guess.
Christianity EtcRe: Sheikh And The Non-believers by batu: 8:57pm On Feb 01, 2007
belloti:
1. Islam does not compel anyone to join it. There are Quranic verses and Hadith to support this.

2. Islam prescribe death sentence for any real muslim that deserted. This too is supported by Quran and Hadith
@Alhaji (I assume!) Belloti,
The statements below are established facts:

1. Demonic secret cults does not compel anyone to join it. They have 'omata declarations' to support this

2. Demonic secret cults prescribe death sentence for any "real cultist" that deserted. This too is supported by 'omata declarations'.

Is it not correct then to say that; Islam = Demonic secret cults (?) because of these and other glaring similarities such as emphasis on sex as a powerful tool of power and oppression, violence, etc
