Properties / Breaking News: DMGS Onitsha New Building Collapse by baylrc4real(m): 9:23am On Jun 12
t is actually a pity that the building Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) which construction commenced about two years ago collapsed this morning with about three persons trapped beneath the number of death or injuries are not confirmed yet.

The gigantic five storey building actually was initiated by the international old boys association of the school to celebrate the centenary(100 years anniversary) of the school coming soonest.

The School Principal Ven. Chigozie Anieto has been the influencer and brain behind the project at this collapsed ... definitely he will be devastated by the collapse.

Crime / Re: Nairaland Should Stop Promoting Scammers Like Clubkonnect Data Resellers by baylrc4real(m): 2:20am On Jul 27, 2023
Clubkonnect what the complainant said is true its has happened to me several times I even called the customer service and they did nothing. Email and used self service you said here nothing was done, I bought data my money was deducted without sending the requested data on several occasions. The truth is that you lacked prompt and overdue response to customers complaint and service most times after complaint nothing will be done its not fair improve your customer service this is the bedrock of successful companies. Though I will not fail to mention that clubkonnect to me is still one of the best data reseller company in Nigeria and definitely every company has its own flaws. Please clubkonnect improve from your flaws thanks

Sorry o pls sir can you also tell us the money you embezzled in this project, sir. All these monies are to exorbitant to generate just 1600MW. Infact what your children get from your stolen funds are "chicken change" compared to what those village youth stole. Sorry sir am not justifying theft or that everyone is not corrupt. Think about this sayings when the head is sick it must affect the all parts of the body. All Nigerian political class and position holders are fantastically corrupt. Nothing not even the devil can change that fact. I cry for this nation.... We all want to suck its dry.

Jamb wants more money from sms.
Mock result was swiftly posted in the portal and now the main exam has been hidden for no reason. Citing extortion from cyber cafe...the extortion by jamb is much more that cyber cafe. To get your profile code in text message you can spend uptoN1000 in sms till you get it same as result. To change course or institution you pay CBT centers as high as N4000. To print result slip another extortion.
JAMB RELEASE THE RESULT ON THE PORTAL

Politics / Re: Sanusi: Nigeria Throwing Away Millions Of Dollars In The Scam Called Subsidy by baylrc4real(m): 5:54pm On Oct 03, 2021
Cognitivereason:
Propaganda..
When did sanusi build mosques as CBN governor or married multiple wives...
See ..employ cognitive reasoning in analysing issues rather than sentiment and prejudice

Since you claim to have cognitive reasons why can't you just make research and see for your self. He supported Islam various times with billions from CBN money. He has more than 3 wives in fact the last one he married Sa'adatu Barkindo Mustapha was only an 18-year-old secondary school leaver when her royal wedding was held. Altogether he has Sanusi has four wives and thirteen children, five sons and eight daughters.

His only achievement in CBN was that he pioneered the introduction of Islamic banking into the Nigerian banking sector. Which is still religious.

Are you saying he didnt make any donation yo his brothers from CBN money? Then found out with link

Sanusi is a perfect example of Talk is cheap. Listen to him at your own peril. He can talk and talk and talk all words no action. I don't know what he stands to gain. When he was the CBN governor he didnt do any special reform in the CBN rather he was busy supporting with millions islamic jihad in different northern states. He can't deny he has never supported insurgency in the north. He built many mosques with Nigerian's money and no record of any impact. No impact because religion does not affect Economy it can only worsen it, moreover that shows he is a partial leader showing the attitude of nepotism. Out of the numerous mosques he built and sponsor as a Governor no record of him doing just a single effort for the Christians in Nigeria.
He had the opportunities to change people's lives( at least in kano) as an Emir of Kano but what did he do instead he was spending billions on vacation abroad, buying expensive cars like rolls Royce marrying many wives like clothes. What was is achievement as the CBN governor or the Emir no wonder when the Governor of Kano removed him the people of kano never protested he failed as an Emir. A position he never merited neither was it his turn to ascend that throne he politically attained that position. The major problem in Nigeria and this present government is that we keep blaming others for woes as deceit for doing nothing instead of taking proactive actions to mend things. Talk is cheap Mr Sanusi, FFK, FAYOSE, OMOKRI , Dino Melaye all we hear from them is always talking what did they do when they are in position of leadership Nothing. Deceivers worst than the devil. May bless Nigeria with proactive leaders who will talk less but work more to change people's lives for the better. Thanks

Music/Radio / Re: Who Produced Better Music Between Lagbaja And Fela by baylrc4real(m): 10:58am On Dec 17, 2020
Some of this indomie generation wey no sabi anything come here dey spit trash. Common fela is the best and still the best in his genre kind of music called afro beat. He is Nigeria most fearless political activist who went to jail several times. Yes he's lifestyle was bad even his children condemned them but his originality can never be compared to another musician in Nigeria. Not even lagbaja who can't show his face till now. Who told you he doesn't have lyrics maybe you don't like it doesn't mean others does not love it...in fact no musician can play instruments till date like the way he did...yes lagbaja is also good but have you listened to his music and notice he doesn't even have good voice but a cracky bass voice he can't sing well without manipulating the voice and backup from a female singer. When the lady ego left him did you hear his songs again ......fela songs bad hmmmm but I bet you listen to and enjoy burnaboy who redefines many of his songs to get Grammy nomination and you also have heard about oritsefemi who became famous and rich with fela song double wahala. Don't even compare fela is the greatest Nigeria musician with more than 50 documentaries, yearly celebration in fact go and watch his funeral ceremony no artist in Nigeria can get that population and love.

Religion / Debate About Who Truly Owns The Tithe by baylrc4real(m): 10:44am On Oct 11, 2020
A debate needs to be raised on how to utilize and use tithes. in early days priest used to bring everything to the temple to be shared among the orphans and widows. Today our priests ask for tithes to invest in businesses. the real beneficiaries of tithes do not get it .how is this tithes accounted for,God is not a fool. He cannot order faithfuls to pay tithes so that the pastor can live a fancy life and report to the population that he is not doing badly.
The worst is that they will ask for vows, offering from their members to build to build businesses like factory, microfinance banks, hospitals and Universities that even majority of their church members cannot afford to patronize. The profits and proceeds of the church goes to the pockets of the founders and other leaders. I think most of our elites pastors and general overseers are not different from corrupt politicians because they are also corrupt. May God help us all and deliver us from evil, don't stop going to church because of this wicked pastors. Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren. Go there to serve God and not man or pastor but looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith.

Crime / Nigerians Are The Problem Of Nigeria by baylrc4real(m): 12:43pm On Jul 31, 2020
*Ekene's Broadcast*

I run a manufacturing business and a trading business.

The biggest challenge in my manufacturing business is not power, or infrastructure, the biggest challenge is getting honest staff. Everyone we hire is appears to be on a mission to steal as much as possible. Inflated invoices, recording less than the actual number of units produced. The worst part of it all is that all the fraud we've uncovered is not done by a single person, it's usually many staff who collude with each other, from production, to sales, to finance, even top management. There was a year I overhauled management 3 times in a year. But I've found a solution sha, I now use Indian management. So competent, so honest and so straightforward. I thought they were expensive at first with all the visa fees, accommodation, house staff, but now that losses due to staff theft have been reduced to a minimum, and efficiency increased, the Indian management has turned out to be cheaper than the previous Nigerian management. Now, all sensitive positions involving money go to Indians. Nigerians are only allowed in non-sensitive positions. I used to criticize companies like Dangote Group that hire so many Indians when there are many unemployed Nigerians, but now, I understand their decision.

My biggest challenge in the trading business is the same, getting honest staff. The form of trading occurs in the open market, and involves staff having access to huge sums of money running into a few millions. I know how much I pay to security companies to provide escorts for the staff, not to prevent robbery, but to ensure that the staff go straight to the bank to deposit the money after the day's sales and not disappear with my money. This money spent on security companies is even enough to be declared as profit. We have to spend on CCTV, biometric scanners and other things that wouldn't not be needed if staff weren't looking for the slightest opportunity to steal.

It got so bad at a point that my main criteria for employing staff was no longer conpaetency but honesty. At least, competency and skills can be learnt, but once you're dishonest, you're dishonest.

We always complain of the economy and how they are no jobs. I know people abroad who would have loved to set up job creating businesses in Nigeria but they can't because they can't get any trustworthy person to run it.

I know people in Nigeria with so much money, they want to start factories and other job-creating businesses but they can't because they are occupied elsewhere and can't get any trustworthy person to run the business. So instead of investing in the real sector and creating jobs, they'll just buy treasury bills, while the thieves are shouting no jobs.

Many big businesses would have been born in Nigeria if we could engage in partnerships, but we cant because you can't trust anyone. This is one advantage the Indians and Lebanese have over us in Nigeria. They can pull resources together and do mega-business, unlike Nigerians that because only one person must do everything since we can't partner, end up with small, tiny businesses.

Start a poultry and they will be stealing your eggs. Some will even go
ahead to be killing the chickens so that they'll be allowed to take them home.

Start an entertainment/viewing/game center and they'll be pocketing
your money. On the days you're around at the business, the money
realized will be x10 of the money realized when you're not around.
Because they're eating your money.

Lease out a vehicle to a driver to use and watch as he'll finish you.

Start a restaurant, the same thing will happen. More than half of the
total food ingredients will end up in their personal kitchens.

Even ordinary provisions shop, they will find a way to steal.

You'll see them with that their evil, wicked saying "na where person dey work, na there e dey chop, na e make dem dey callam workchop/workshop"...... Just imagine, justifying theft at work.

And you'll see these people point their crooked fingers at politicians when they're not any different. I usually say the reason most Nigerians haven't stolen billions of government money, is simply lack of opportunity. Stealing is everywhere both privates and Governments .

Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.
We need genuine Salvation in Christ Jesus. *Spread the word now*

ANAMBRA STATE:
Man Killed By Police Man On Patrol Along New Tyre Nkpor Market.
A brush between Police men on patrol along the New Tyre Nkpor market and some traders around the area have has cost the life of a young man in his twenties. Some police officers were also bathed with acid by protesters.
The incident occurred as Police men enforcing the sit -at -home order by Anambra state government tried to scatter people that gathered in the area.
Reacting to the incident, Anambra state Commissioner of Police, John Abang said the young man identified as Ebuka Agbaja and a resident of Frank More street Nkpor, was shot by a police officer identified as Corporal Christopher Ozor. He said it was in self defence, as youths around the New Tyre market attacked the officers with acid while they were on their official patrol exercise in the area.
Mr. Abang who presented some evidence, including uniform and gun of the police officer, victim of the acid attack, called on Ndi Anambra to stop taking laws into their hands and to adhere strictly to the sit- at -home order as it is for the good of all.
Expressing dislike over the development, some of the residents in the area, including Messrs Emmanuel Azudiugu and Anthony Enuke called on government to investigate the matter in view of giving the deceased deserved justice.
