If you are already in Europe, all you need do is get your brother or sister in nigeria to assist you. Someone(find a trusted person) can do it for you, you do not have to be there,ok. It is even cheaper and better for you
Arlanda:

But someone who is already in Europe and he is with all his academic certificates. How can he legalise the certificate when he is not in Nigeria.

I'm so sorry all. I cannot respond to all questions all by myself. I know of a Nigerian in the Instituto polytecnico de leiria, 35years old as at 2019, according to him, he had BSc in nigeria but the school refused to give him result. He applied for another BSc here in Portugal and was given admission(35years). The real truth is, as a BSc student, you wont even have time to work during the week days because of classes, except, you want to leave schooling for a moment to work first but ensure that you have got ur resident card before you take that decision. Work and study for BSc might not be realistic because for BSc, you will also battle with language. As per admission, they will give you admission
Ovems:
I have looked through your YouTube channel but didn't find what I was looking for. You briefly talked about someone that got admission for a Bsc and about 2 persons in previous pages have asked about the same but they didn't get a response either. I was hoping to read a response to their question.

Please can someone who finished secondary school years ago still apply for a Bsc program? And can they work and study at the same time? Will they also be allowed to stay back after their study?

I understandhow you feel about the delay, but it'snot only tourist visa but ALL. If you go to Facebook just type SEF Portugal and you will see notes of people who haven'tgot appointmentwith SEF(immigration). They want to attend to pple who are alrdy in Portugal first and soon they would be back again. Let's just be patient and trust God that all will be well

I have applied for a schengen visa since 6th of September and this is 5th of October, yet haven't heard anything from Portuguese embassy. What could be the issue?

Im so sorry. I think I made video on that. The real truth is, age is not a barrier. For BSc in Portugal, it is divided into 2, we have below 23years and above 23 years. If you are above, then you select your option. I know a Nigeria who was born in 1984. He applied to Medeira, and he was given admission. When he came down to Portugal, he was not allowed to register for any course, he was asked to go to language school first and have B, until he would be allowed to attend classes. Most schools in Portugal, would teach in Portuguese in class for BSC (although you would be supported in English and you would write your exams in English too).
As for work, hmmm..... you wil not have time to work because you will have classes almost all the time. It is only Msc students that would have time to work. Please zero your mind that you cant work, except you want to forfeit your studies and work, then you later go back after you must have raised fund. For a student, the only thing that can permit you to stay back is to have a SUITABLE JOB. Infact, as a nigerian, when you arrive portugal, the first thing is to start looking for job wink wink wink wink,

Im so sorry, I usually go back to respond to those that I have not responded to. Im sorry. i will not sugarcoat it to make you happy. I dont think they are partial. What they do in Portugal is to select accordingly (grade). Grade is not only by ur result but as well as ur years of experience. I applied for one of my subscribers who had a third class. First, he applied during the first phase , secondly, he finished 10years ago, so he was able to write a motivation letter that was related to the course he applied for. So, though, he had a 3rd class, he wrote a motivation letter that was able to convince the profesora that he can do the course. Like I do mention in my videos, you wont be there when selection would be made, but whatever you have written down will speak alot for you. Try and dont give up. You dont have to apply to Lisboa, porto, aveiro or minho because they are competitive

I dont think your land property is a tie because you cannot submit it. Your job can be a tiesince you are not married. But you should be able to write a Convicing letter, that you are returning back to Nigeria when you finish
oseremenifidon:
Please i want to know which additional documents should i submit as a way to show tie to my home country as i am not married for now! Deed of assignment or C of O for a property owned!

I love your response vibrant. Advice to those who desire to study and have the fund. First of all look at what you stand to gain for yourself and your family(esp your kids). Its worth coming to Portugal. The stress/effort you put in Nigeria, if you put it in Portugal, you will achieve, infact more than 70%, if not more than 85% in Portugal. The most is even after 5years, you apply for PR/C
vibrant99:
PhD is very Cheap in Portugal...... less than 2 Million Yearly

4 years and if you stay 5 Years in Portugal you will apply for residence ...

Ph.D. is a great way to head there, don't always be looking for a scholarship for everything, look at the prospect.

You can go to Porto, they have a lot of historical museums there. I ususally use google (just type 'what to do in porto' or 'places to visit in porto') - you can use it for any city

You can appeal but if you begin to change it to business visa, they would suspect. I'm just thinking since it is a tourist visa dt u applied for, we have a lot of tourist attractions here, like...... If you can call me on Instagram, I can give you hint

oseremenifidon:
Do you think I should change it to a business invitation visa since it is short term or still stick to the tourist visa?
Travel / Re: How I Migrated To From Nigeria To Portugal by Bayobishow: 5:26pm On Aug 26, 2022
You can't stay back according to their policy. However, you can apply to a school(maybe a language course or professional course), that the course is up to a year. Then you would call SEF and apply for resident card. BUT all these must be done before ur visa expires
carsprayer:
if i travel as a Tourist, can i stay back for resident permit?

Hmm... these people are psychologist. They know or FEEL that we Africans and some Asian countries wants to come to Europe and stay back. It's students that there courses are up to a year or more than a year that are meant to do a year travel insurance. The person that investigated your documents might have reasoned it that way, if a person who is applying for tourist visa is doing an insurance of one year, then the person have an intention of staying back after the visa expires. One month insurance is enough for someone coming to visit and if it expires when you are still in Portugal, you can always renew it.
However, if you are a business person, or you are a female, I can ask you to appeal and write a VERY convincing letter. You won't be there when they would analyse it, but whatever you are able to write to convince them would really speak for you

oseremenifidon:
Who has applied for Portuguese tourist visa and gotten it? I recently applied for mine with all the required documents but refused and the reason they gave was that there are reasonable doubt to your intention to leave the schengen region. When i looled through all of my documents for the second time i noticed my travel insurance was for a year. So please could the 1 year travel insurance be the reason for denail? And also kindly recommend what i should put up to show strong ties...Thanks
My email is oseremenifidon@gmail.com should incase anyone want to be of assistance.

I'm so sorry replying late. 3rd phase is not always advisable because it is meant purposely for those already in portugal, i.e those that the process would not take their time. However, if you apply, that does not mean that you wont be granted admission but the no of students selected are usually minimal because most of the number of students that they need hav been selected during the first and 2nd, the 3rd phase is just to add up, that is why they may just select 4~5students. Besides, visa process is tedious in nigeria, except if you have legalised your result before applying, then it would be faster. I made a video on that today

Akayani:
Good morning
I have read through this thread and really appreciate all your efforts
I found a masters program at the nova school of science and technology and the 3rd phase of admission is about to start
In regards to these I have some questions
1. Would you advise me to apply for the 3rd phase of admission
2. Do you have any idea when the session for the school would start
3. Can I still meet up with the visa process if offered admission
Your quick response would be appreciated
Thank you
