AgricultureRe: One Of My Noilers Just Hatched Its Egg (pics) by bayoshenko(m): 8:49am On Nov 30, 2023
chukskafor:
Yes but the female offsprings will never go broody and the male, though will grow faster than the average local, but won't grow as big as the noilers
This is actually not always the case. I have done research on chicken genetics especially crossing different breeds. It's innate for chicken to go broody but this trait has been bred out of some breeds for commercial purposes. Examples are ISA brown and leghorn. While ISA brown is regarded as an hybrid, leghorn is a pure breed. Even some leghorns have been said to go broody. These are the best egg layers around. In this case, Noiler is an hybrid, meaning if a male noiler mates with a female noiler they can't produce chicks with the same performance as them. The local chicken in this instance is regarded as very broody. So if the rooster is from the broody breed, the female offsprings from the cross would carry the broody strain.
I have seen female offsprings of a cross between what we call whîte cockerel in Nigeria (it's actually an ISA brown rooster) with female local chicken go broody. These shows that broody strain is always in them and can be triggered by a cross with any broody breed. For the best results, the rooster should be from the broody strain. The size of your rooster also influences the size of your chicks.
AgricultureRe: Foreign Turkeys Diary by bayoshenko(m): 9:11am On Aug 18, 2022
Turkeys aren't actually dumb. They are just not as quick to understand things like chickens. You can get a rechargeable lamp that will be brighter to cover all the birds. Also because of the turkeys you will have to reduce the size of where you are brooding them to where at least half of the area will be warm. Placing the heater closer to a corner will make the area warmer but don't place it too close to the corner. About turkeys being aggressive, actually they aren't they are just curious birds they try to peck on everything but this act reduces with time. Endeavour to make sure that the turkeys are warm, try and get the rechargeable lamp because they need access to food for the first few days of life and separate the chicken from the turkeys after some weeks. I wish you good luck.

What breed of Turkey do you have? Do you know the weight of both the male and female?

hi bayoshenko,

the prize is 10k cash. there is other bonus prizes too and i will let Stephenmoka4 make a post on that.

as for the job description, we simply need good tipsters, whoever wins the competition is not even guaranteed to get the job because anyone can get lucky. this is why we will do further vetting.

there is no minimum requirement, you do not need bsc to be a tipster.

as for people joining in the middle of the contest, i dont think that is a good idea too and i think Stephenmoka4 will handle this well

i gave most of the organization to him as he knows the thread better.
Hi alextso,
Thanks for your time. I laughed after reading the bolded grin
The concept is good. I guess that you are starting a prediction website. I wish you all the best once again and goodluck to the participants,
BusinessRe: Football (+/Other Sports) Betting Season 14 by bayoshenko(m): 5:10pm On Aug 13, 2020
Although a good idea, there are many questions to be asked. What is the prize for the competition and how many winners? What is the job description and salary involved? By inviting everyone to participate in a contest doesn't guarantee that you will get the best candidates. There should be a set standard, then you can do your competition/selection from this standard. Most companies won't open employment to everyone just because they want to be fair to everyone, they would mention the minimum qualification required. Besides, people joining at the middle of the contest is also a bad idea in my opinion as people who lose may still enter on the other days. I wish you luck in your endeavours.

It seems you have comprehension Issue... Go again and read my query slowly

I needed a bookie with Multiflex option not Cut 1 (Which i know bookies that offer that)

So take a chill pill and have a nice day!!!
Tolu121 was correct. Besides, most bookies have that option. The bookie you mentioned just gave it a different name. It is the same thing as combo bets. It is like baba Ijebu's permutation. If you place a ten-game combo in your case, 6 out 10 (6/10), you need at least 6 of your games to be correct to win. More games you predict correctly the more your winnings. However, your winnings will be lower than a straight acca bet of 10 games, even if you predicted all your 10 games in the combo bet correctly using the same stake amount for both bet options.

u didn't state that one needs a Dom account to withdraw na.will a normal bank account work? Linked with a visa card?
I thought I had answered this question earlier. You do not need a bank account number to withdraw to your visa card. Once you want to withdraw, you will see the visa card withdrawal option and your withdrawal will be sent directly to your visa card, They do not need your account number to perform this operation. It is processed as if you were requesting a refund to your visa card. This is only possible with most visa cards and mastercards issued in some jurisdictions unfortunately Mastercard withdrawals are not available to Nigeria. Note that I didn't say Nigerians.

Please has anyone withdrawn from bet365 using the bank transfer option?
You must have a domiciliary account for you to use this option. They didn't mean the usual Naira bank transfer as they do not this currency option. The best alternative is to use skrill, neteller or a visa card either in naira or dollars you can withdraw to it.

P. S.
I have used this form of payment before but you will be charged some percentage by your bank which is usually around twenty dollars depending on the bank's policy. Some websites may charge you for withdrawals so I don't think it is the best withdrawal option.

Good morning guys. Please I need advice on what to do. 1xbet just rejected my withdrawal after just playing with their bonus. They said they are reviewing my account. I turned a bonus of 44780 to over a million. Was using a small phone and just use another phone to snap the last attempt before they removed it. The bonus was later credited hut after asking for withdrawal they rejected it and said they are reviewing my account. This is the picture. please don't mind the quality, I used one small phone to snap it.
I guess this might be too late. I just want to clarify things for people on the 1xb-et Friday bonus. If you deposit ₦10000 and got a bonus of ₦10000 but you were able to rollover the bonus and won ₦5 million only ₦10000 will be credited to your main balance and the rest is gone. It is in their terms and condition. You cannot get more than your bonus funds in your main balance. So don't be too excited about this bonus.

are you now saying it is better to fund your account with third party than using your own debits card? Why will they need to known if I own that card when I'm withdrawing to the same account that was link to that card, will i be withdrawing to the account if the card does not belong to me ?

Are you saying the only thing they need is just a statement that show the transaction deposit transaction to their website?, if that is the case, what is hardin that for the guy to get
Platforms like interswitch, paystack, opay, flutterwave etc are all third party payment options. There's no way they would require you to prove you made deposits with those platforms because you had no direct business with them. All issues will be resolved between you and the third party and if they have issues they would contact the platform concerned. The only time they would require bank statements in this instance is to prove residency, which only requires to see your address. Most of the bookies have regulatory authorities too and that's why they require some of these documentations.

It should be okay, but highlight where the deposits you made to them are. Let know that the card is linked to the account. They may require you to send a back and front of the said card. I want to beg Nigerians using foreign sites not to use their card for deposits if other options are available.

what kind of bank statement will you advise i use
Did you use a naira card linked to your account? If you have internet banking on your account, you should be able to get an instant statement download already in PDF and stamped. I can confirm GTBank has this feature.
Please don't send any bank statement, send the one linked to the card you used to make the deposit and highlight where the places where the deposits were displayed. I know this can be frustrating but you will definitely get your funds if you are the owner of the card. Good luck.

try and be patient with them bro.. you can start a fresh query, send a screenshot of your bank statement to them including the PDF, make sure the PDF is not locked with password. They'll verify your account Las Las, just don't insult/threaten their customer care, they'll just flag your account forever.
They won't flag you for genuine complaints. They can only flag for suspicious activities and that's what they have done. It's left for him to send a bank statement showing the deposits he made with the said debit card. Don't afraid of the bookies, they do make mistakes too. If you are genuinely right, they won't flag or block your account.
BusinessRe: Football (+/Other Sports) Betting Season 14 by bayoshenko(m): 11:23am On Jul 22, 2020
@fhranchez
I guess the problem is from the method you used to fund your account. I want to assume that you you used a debit card to fund your account directly instead of using a third party. That explains why they have the details of the card you used. To avoid charge back issues, they want to be sure that you are indeed the owner of the used card. What you need is a bank statement that shows the exact transactions you made on their website. Any bank statement won't work in this instance since they aren't asking to know your residence. I hope this helps.
There is no way bookies can freeze your funds if you didn't commit any fraud, at worst they will refund the balance left on your account before closing it. It has happened many times to me when some sites started blocking Nigeria due to new regulations in their country of operation. You have a right to be angry but not being rude. Bookies aren't doing us any favour, in fact they need us more than we need them.

I am one of the Core team members of a cryptocurrency project. The Crypto will be mainly used as a payment method on betting Platforms. The project started on 6th March 2019. We have been able to achieve some things; we have developed a gambling platform, built a community on Discord. We would have loved to create a community right here on nairaland, unfortunately, it forbids cryptocurrency ads and gambling. However, we felt we could bring some Nigerians to join our community. As we are working on a partnership with some licensed betting platforms in Nigeria with the aim of accepting our cryptocurrency on their platform.
I am here because we want you to help us, while we offer you some money (it might be little). We want you to help invite people to join our community. These people must be interested in Cryptocurrency and betting. For each genuine invite( we will know if you create fake accounts) and you will be rewarded for each invite. If you are interested, please send me an email on bayoshenko@gmail.com. Under subject enter " From NL" and you must include your nairaland username, as we want to see how active you are on nairaland. Hope to hear from you soon. If you want to learn more about the project.

I am part of a cryptocurrency team. We are starting a betting Platform based on cryptocurrency payments. As a member of the team and a Nigerian, I felt it will be nice to get some Nigerians involved. The project is still young, so do not expect immediate rewards. We need some volunteers in the community to help promote the platform. Although is it is on a volunteer basis. You can get rewarded with our coin at intervals for your activeness.
Join us by using this invite: https://discord./VdReQqb

When you join our server through the above link, you will see Core Team members under the heading FOUNDATION, send any of us a mail and mention nairaland and tell us the role you think you can play to support us. (remember do not expect immediate financial rewards, only scam projects will promise you such)

Dear nairalanders,
Although many Nigerians are into cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, very few Nigerians are into bitcoin mining, probably due to the cost and the incessant power supply. As you may be aware bitcoin mining takes place on Proof of Work algorithm, which requires lot of energy to keep it running.
The success recorded by Bitcoin brought about the beginning of the blockchain technology which led to the creation of new generation cryptocurriencies, often referred to as alternative coins (altcoins).
The cryptocurrency sphere has been recently witnessing the development of new projects claiming to introduce innovations to the blockchain technology. The bulk of these projects floundered. Despite the failures of these projects, DASH succeeded by consolidating Proof of Work (POW) and Proof of Stake (POS) algorithms. This achievement gave birth to PIVX, which integrated Bitcoin's distributed ledger consensus technology, DASH's Masternode network and combined its own POS consensus algorithm.
Introducing Cowry (COW)
COW is a next-generation, hybrid cryptocurrency based on Proof of Stake (POS) mining and Masternodes. It is a fork of the open-source project of PIVX. Its smallest unit is Calf (0.00000001), thus; 100,000,000 calves equal 1.00 COW. COW aims to become a quintessential cryptocurrency. It combines the pre-existing core features of other cryptocurrencies and refines them to produce a single currency capable to function with their strengths but without their deficiencies.
COW’s max supply is 50,000,000 and has a fixed reward structure. Besides, it has a process of managing the circulation supply through reserve funds, and buy-backs. To maintain the health of the coin supply, it emits 1.00 COW into circulation every minute. This implies that not more than 525,600 COW can be produced within a year cycle, thereby creating a scarcity feature essential for price stability.
Besides, as a Proof of Stake cryptocurrency, COW is significantly better for the atmosphere than its Proof of Work counterparts due to its efficient power consumption demands.
USE CASES
Through inventing COW, we initiated a cryptocurrency that would allow for safe and secure storage of COW in a cryptographic, digital wallet. Besides, we have developed a fiscal pattern that would generate income for COW holders, while utilizing COW for the security of the COW blockchain. COW has the ability to provide near-instant payments through SwiftTX. This allows COW holders the ability to transfer COW within seconds across a global network of Masternodes.
One of our foremost goals is to create and promote our own gambling platform with COW as the primary currency. Gambling is the act of predicting the outcome of events and placing a wager on them. According to Michelle Thoras, a Corporate Sales Specialist at Radiant Insights, the global Sports Betting Market is foreseen to grow at a significant Compound Annual Growth Revenue (CAGR) of 8.62% during the period 2018-2022.
The gambling market is very immense, so it presents competition among different platforms. It is our goal to collaborate and cooperate with both brand-new and existing gambling platforms for the integration of COW into their payment gateways. The commencement of the Gambling Platform is divided into two phases.
1st Phase
• Sports Betting
• E-sports Betting
• Casino
2nd Phase
• Bingo
• Lottery

Enough already. What's with your inferiority complex? He's right in a way and you're right in a way. Infact he's probably more right than you are cos if a group of people do things differently or their ways of life don't tally much, then there's little or no culture. That doesn't mean there aren't still teeny weeny things they have or do in common. You don't have to label all Africans (yourself included) dumb. WTF
I hardly make comments here, but I had to respond to this discourse.
With due respect, you got @ugosample’s assertions wrong. In language, there is what is called “implied meaning” and “what is meant”. For example, You are a boy. It might mean a young male or you are not grown-up. What is implied is always different from what is meant. Now to the issue of culture; as rightly stated by him, culture is a way of life, so there is nobody in this world without culture albeit intangible or how strange it is to us. Eating habit, food, language, dressing, piercing, even tattooing are all parts of one’s culture. Before now the majority of people in Nigeria had several piercings or tattoos on different parts of their bodies however how crude the artistry was then. But now if our parents see us trying to get the same tattoos they say we are copying other people’s culture. Cultures, traditions and norms go hand in hand.
You may say they have lost their cultural values, and not that they do not have any culture.
In our modern society chatting and texting are now part of our culture. Culture is invariably in a state of change. Because people are not doing was been done before does not mean they do not have any culture. It is either they have picked up something different from the previous conventions or modified it.
Another example is polygamy practised widely until recently in Nigeria. Would it be right to say that if someone decides not to take up a second wife the person has lost his culture? There is always the issue of “identification”
We tend to choose the way we want to be identified or what to be identified with. I may be a Nigerian and yet want to be identified as an American. This might be so if I am in that environment, but there are some things that can identify us namely skin colour(for black people), facial appearance (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans etc), language, food; these might be very difficult to change.
The African-Americans, of course, do have culture. They have a peculiar way of life, even if it is different what is obtained on the African continent. Even a child born of Nigerian parents but grew up in America will most of the time have different values from a child born and grew up in Nigeria.
Let us try to learn from each other, we cannot always see things in the same way. I respect other people’s opinion but that does not mean I have to accept it. Thank you very much.

I don't think it is. It was, when Nigerians, living in Nigeria were having problems making payments abroad(there was a message on their website to this effect then). The free application has since been stopped. I guess many people making applications there believe that it is still on(because payment is made after the submission of application). I think most applicants who didn't pay the application fee who have their application unprocessed. In the alternative is to confirm from the admission office.

I NEED HELP PLEASE.

My TRV was approved on Dec. 6th, University of Regina, Msc. I had a balance of $32,543USD in my statement when I applied (100% self sponsored). I have paid advance tuition of $4000CDN to the school before visa application. So I later used some money after my application for some personal and company business so I have only about $14,000USDs left in my account as at this moment.

I read from my approval letter that I need to show PROOF OF FUNDS AT POINT OF ENTRY IN CANADA. I am worried, which proof of funds do I need to show? Is it the same statement of account i used to applied for visa or do I need to PRINT A NEW ONE? Money will come to my account by December 23rd, but I must have gone by then. And can only access the cash via online banking transfer from Nigeria.

I am worried that if I print a new one the amount inside will not be enough to show the officers at the point of entry. Do they bother on this so much or do I need to just carry the old statement I used to apply for TRV. I am traveling on December 18th.

Please I seek guide and advise from all of us and the BOSSES on the FORUM. Thanks guys!
Proof of funds does not mean you have to have the amount with you. The only thing is to convince them at the POE that you have sufficient funds to support your stay. I am sure that they do not need any SOA at the POE, but if you are taking more than $10,000 with you remember to declare it. Your online banking can also come in handy to show them that you have funds to support you.
On a lighter note, visa application has turned us into thinking that even $10000 is small money, but infact it is not even to them. So believe me someone who can present at $10000 at POE is well capable of taking care of him/herself anywhere in the world (IMHO). All the best.
