If I do it on Monday it will come out on Tuesday but I'm leaving on Tuesday? I thought I should do it on Sunday incase of delay then I will get the result on Monday then travel on Tuesday

It depends on the hospital. You should ask them .. it takes 24 hours or less for the result .. I presume your flight is by Tuesday afternoon/evening ..

Submitted my application (visit visa) for my mom and I on the 4th of March this month and we got our passports back on the 19th of March. NB: I sponsored her application and attached the required docs. SA visa is the easiest to get once you know what you’re doing or how to go about it. wink

Congrats . That was fast ...Was it in Lagos you submitted? And have you been to SA before?

We started dating last year December, we are cool with each other, we try as much as possible to avoid quarrels.. I noticed something about my girl, everytime she meets a new guy, she tells me about it whenever we chat or talk on phone..

Pls just kind of curious, what could b my girl motive to always tell me about every new guy that meets her and exchange contacts with her..

Any bashing is welcomed, na normal vibes for here as long as I get ur opinions..

Please take my serious advice ... any woman that’s on a relationship and still gives out her number to other guys who woo her is a potential Bleep / flirt/ spoilt girl .... because I don’t see what else she’s looking for ... that’s how they cheat .. that’s how the boys impress them and get them laid .. I warn you again .. any woman in a relationship that still gives her numbers to boys, is fucking them ...

Nyocha:
If you check social media, who are we kidding, social media these days is just Twitter; so, if you check Twitter, two trending topics are based on leaving this country, and a majority of Nigerian escapees are moving to Canada that is why we have come to tell you why you as a Nigerian shouldn't leave this country to Canada.

You hear the usual complaints of how Nigeria is a hell hole and that no good comes from being associated with this country but let us tell you something, you are right.

Nigerians have come a long ways from the days of $1-N1 and now, grown to the giant that we are to $1-N480, causing mental instability in the country among citizens that has inspired their decision to leave.

Yet, there is a problem with that idea that many Nigerians are aware of but we at Corporate Tumble decided to reiterate and that is the things you will find when you go abroad.

In the abroad, in this case, Canada, things are far different from what you see here in your beloved(?) nation.

And those differences are what we will highlighting to help you, probably, reconsider your decision.

Here are the reasons why Nigerians shouldn't go to Canada. To read more, visit: https://www.corporatetumble.com/

Career / Re: Money Cakes: Nigerians Keep Emulating Habits That Kill Jobs (Pictures) by bazzyblings: 11:04am On Mar 04, 2021
Peterobi90:
Job can be defined as employment, work or occupation, it is a person's role in society. More specifically, a job is an activity, often regular and often performed.

Jobs are not created from the blues, they are created via our daily specific activities.

They are coined from our daily habits alongside country policies..

The main purpose of this thread is the new habit of money cakes in place of actual cakes.. some might call it bluff, but its becoming a trend and gradually becoming a norm.

The activities that involve cakes are diminishing daily..

Weddings are on an alltime low, Birthdays are barely celebrated these days. How then do we want the bakers to feed when we deliberately kill jobs with trendy habits.

Of what use is a money cake to the society, what economic gain has it added to the economy?.. zero/zilch, but has taken food out the mouth of millions from that created through cake-baking.

Please let's be cautious, our money cake trendy habit kill jobs, our economy is at the brink on employment.. we cant keep harming ourselves. Coming from our so-called celebrities goes to show most dont think beyond their noses.

Note: I am not a Baker, just a concerned citizen.

You’re a mumu man ... what’s wrong with money cake ? Abi dem tell u say dem no Dey bake normal cake again ? Please don’t just come here to spit rubbish .... money cake doesn’t in anyway affect the cake business ... besides it’s always done along side the real cake

Travel / Re: Life Of A Nigerian Student Nurse In Canada- Lonely. by bazzyblings: 10:32pm On Feb 26, 2021
Childofthelord:
Hi everyone,

My name is Grace, 21yrs, I am in my 3rd year student, pursing a BN degree in Nursing administration (UBC) in Canada. However, since I left Nigeria in 2018, my life never remained the same. Let me start by saying a little about myself.
I come from a Christian home in Nigeria, my parents both attend deeper life.
They are hardcore disciplinarians and prayer warriors. My mum especially, each time i came back from school, my mum searched my bag. I was not allowed to have any social networking apps, not even WhatsApp, my mum always checked my phone. All my parents ever care about is my education and getting good grades. If i am not talking about books, i am not making sense( i was not allowed to attend prom). I had no outfits, just normal clothes and school uniform. I am never allowed to visit friends, go out or have friends over. I spent a large chunk of my time in my bedroom. I do not know how to socialize or communicate with people.
My social life was in bad shape and i never realized it.
I realized that my upbringing and the way i lived my life has really affected me now. I have trouble making friends and even sometimes when people approach me, they go mute after some days, it appears like i cannot keep friends. There are 60 students in my department and i could not make friends with one person, i do not have anyone to check with after an exam or test, nobody checks on me either. I always conatact the professors directly if i have any issues.
To be frank, I did spend 2 years in Unilag before coming to Canada and I had quite a number of friends, many guys were toasting me. I even lost count as some point. But ever since i stepped into this Canada, no guy, i repeat no guy has ever asked me out. white oh, black oh, hispanic oh, nothing. Though i have a number of acquittances but no one to share a drink with or talk about how the day went. This was different from when i was in Nigeria.
Right now I am really trying to make friends but each time i try, the energy is always coming from my end and sometimes they ignore me. I have no best friend, no boyfriend, no padi padi. I believe i have a bright future ahead of me but sometimes i just feel lost with how lonely i get.
Sometimes i feel like there a spirit of loneliness following me, i have no roommates too.
This has not stopped me from doing what i have to do and studying well, but i find it a little disturbing.
Is this normal? for students studying abroad? Maybe I am just different, I dunno.
I am willing to answer any questions?

Please can we be friends ? I would love to contact you

These are the golddiggers that made one Nairaland tout to call Nigerian women useless.

Imagine the wicked lady still have the guts to spend her boyfriend's sweat on another good for nothing guy.

I still blame the foolish guy for giving that huge sum to a lady he is not married to all in the name of love when he has immediate family who can help him achieve that plan.

You’re talking trash .... shey if u Wer the one dating the guy . You would be happy He’s giving money to his people to build the house you both would stay when you get married ? If u live in a glass house , don’t throw stones . I don’t think you’re any better ... there’s no reason to attack the guy . He loved and trusted the girl . What do you expect ?? He’s just another victim of girls ... girls are too loosed ...

Romance / Re: Is She Selfish Or I Am Overreacting by bazzyblings: 2:00am On Feb 20, 2021
Do I really need to take it into consideration or overlook?
I observe my girl friend is very stingy and selfish. I really don't need anything from her, I foot our bills from A - Z, I give her between 1500 to 5k as tfare, meanwhile the actual tfare from my place to hers is just 200 to and fro.

Ok the problem is some weeks ago she was at my place for some days, the 2nd day in the morning I realized my toothpaste has finished, having it in mind that I'm gonna buy another one on my way back later in the day, unfortunately I forgot to buy it despite buying stuff at the supermarket. But God so good as I was blaming myself for forgetting to buy it, she told me she has toothpaste in her bag so we used her toothpaste that morning. I kept forgetting to buy this toothpaste for the next 3 days, I had to cut the tube with knife so I can have something to brush my teeth but my girlfriend was quietly using her toothpaste alone and she will return it into her bag, she saw me tearing the tube but didnt occur to her to surrender her toothpaste until i bought mine the 5th day.

I really didn't count it initially but I have noticed other things and it's taking my mind back to the incidence. My girlfriend has never used her money to buy me a sachet of pure water or cheapest orange or whatever.

Another funny thing is when we are eating, sometimes she accused me of eating from her meat or taking from her drinks when i didn't even touch it. Imagine always trying to lay claim to 3 pieces out of 4.

Do I need to pay attention to some of the little details or overlook all because of love or am I overreacting?

NB : she's presently unemployed but never lack support from her parents and myself.

Guy leave her o. Don’t say I didn’t warn you . Love is not selfish . You do all you do for her because u love her .. if she doesn’t then she doesn’t love you ... love is all about sacrifice . Even Jesus sacrificed himself . So make hay while the sun shine . I had a gf like that before .
