Please can you assist me with my application fee payment? my email is : leye.bbtunde@gmail.com

Abydupank:

First Poland won't parcel your TRC outside Poland except to the Polish address which you submitted its contract when you applied for the TRC.
Also, u don't overstay as long as you have the TRC stamp inside your passport.. it stands in lieu of Visas. Nobody will hold u as an overstayer as long as the trc application sticker is in your passport.
I have done researching since I arrived here.

As the others have pointed out. As far as ACS is concerned Certifications will have no bearing on your nomination. I initially did MCSE because my Bsc. is not computer related. I wasted time going for the certification and it eventually cost me a lot.

Even if you studied something else you can get a positive outcome from ACS and in your own case you studied computer science.

The alternative of going through EA need to be verified properly for someone who did not study engineering but with 5 years experience.

"Please note that when submitting your application to EA, you have to nominate an occupation that you will be assessed on since it is CDR. As long as you have a degree in Engineering, it usually does'nt matter what field of Engineering you nominated provided that you can prove to EA that you have relevant work experience in that field. In writing my CDR, I used my MSc thesis and the other two from the work I did in the profession I nominated. Use professional Engineer as @Bellong mentioned. "

In this case she studied computer science not engineering.

If i get you right, do you mean i might get a negative response from EA since i don't have a degree in Engineering?

Re Cap: I have a BSc in Computer Science with 5yrs+ working experience as a field transmission engineer which aligns with Telecom field engineer (313212)

pls advice, does my profile align with 263111 without work experience or 313212 with work experience

I don't want to mix this up pls

You can do it at once or separately. It does not really matter. You know already that your CE could be from school projects or work experience. So you can decide what to do.

When you begin, any question you have, ask here and tag me, I can be of help.

Sir, from thorough study of occupation list and comparing my work experience as a field transmission engineer, the perfect occupation for my experience is Telcoms Field Engineer. And going through the assessment details, the job category is at skill level 2 compared to Telecom Network Engineer which is categorised as Skill level 1.

Now my concern is, will this lower my assessment point if i go for the Telecom Field Engineer which perfectly align with my work experience? and what difference is between associate degree & bachelor degree.

Really sorry to bother you with many questions, just want to get it right at first attempt.

Thanks in anticipation.

@bellong, plz your input will also be appreciated as well

Competency Demonstration Report. You stand a good chance to get a positive assessment with EA if your CDR is good. The CDR comprises of Career episode(CE) , Summary statement(SS) and Continuing professional development (CPD).

You can check EA site for more

www.engineersaustralia.org.au

Thanks for the detailed response.

I think im ready to take the assessment shot. but another thing i need to be clear of. Experience assessment & qualification assessment, ate they done together or separately?

How can you help with the CDR?

For Computer Network & System Engineer 263111 , ACS www.acs.org will be churning 4 of that 5 yrs for a positive outcome.
and you will need at least of 75 points for 189 ITA or 70 for a 190 ITA.

For Telecommunications Network Engineer, this is accessed by EA http://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/ and you will be required to write a CDR and you are likely to be able to claim all your experience points. minimum requirement for ITA is 70 points and a four months waiting period. you are equally eligible for a 190

Based on your age, turning 33 meaning -5pts... i will advice you act fast because that 5pts is vital.
If i may advice you openly , the CCIE/MSCE has not effect on the PR process, if you can put all that efforts in securing ITA soonest, you will be more glad you did.

you will need 20 pts in English
you can also explore partner point (5pts)
Always aim for maximum point attainable

Pls what does CDR stands for?

Also, since my education/experience align more with Telecommunications Network Engineer, pls kindly advice if i stand a better chance of getting a positive results, or with Computer Network and System Engineer.

Can i apply for both 189 & 190 concurrently?

Don't even think of the certification, better to move fast.

@bolded, your spouse going through an assessment for her occupation can add 5pts to your package. P.S her nominated occupation must also be on same list as yours.

She's a Registered Nurse (Psychiatric Nurse). I guess this allign with RN (Mental health) as mentioned in the occupation list

As is, age will give 30pts
Education will give 15pts
Experience gives u 10pts (if properly verifiable)
English test gives pts (u need at least 20points from here to have a good shot at 189 ITA)

My guess is if you decide to go for the certification, you might lose 5 points from age depending on how long it takes to get the certificate and when you would be clocking 33. Bottom line, going for the certification will slim your chances of claiming maximum age points and I'm not sure the certificate add any points but only help any enhancing your occupation assessment outcome. But you already have education in relevant field of occupation so in my opinion, fire on with your assessment ASAP. I believe OOU is a level 1 university as well so u have a good shot.

Let the ACS goons tell you more.

Thank you so much for your response. the certification training is for 6 months & will be 33 by December.

Pls i need pple with ACS experience to shed more light to this issue.

Also, will my spouse go through the same process (assessment & english test) as well or it's just on me (principal applicant)?

Thanks & God Bless

I'm really inspired the kind of insightful information shared so far. God Bless you all.

I'm planning of getting into the PR race and information read has really got my spirit up. Had a BSc in computer science from OOU in 2010, and had a 5 yrs experience working as a field transmission engineer on Airtel network under Ericsson and Huawei respectively.

Presently, I'm planning on going for my CCIE/MCSE (cloud infrastructure) training and certification in India, after which i wanna apply for Computer Network & System Engineer or Telecommunications Network Engineer under the subclass 189.

To the experienced ones, kindly advice on what chance i stand to get an ITA? or the better subclass to apply for.

Age: 32

Thanks.
