Like I said: my 2cents...dats the underlying word. As for the calling, I've experienced it personally along with two or 3colleagues I know...and as I no get that kind patience for a lousy $100 abi was it $50 daily limit then, I moved on to greener pastures

Why do you have to call? That is what stanbic does now, if you attempt transaction, it would fail, if you call them to ask why, you'll be told when you need to do an online transaction with your card (international, not local...can't say 'boUt local cos I never do local online transactions) you should call them, and they would open up the platform for 24hrs, after that 24hrs, your card becomes disabled, so you need to call again when you want another transaction done. That's just stupid...my 2 cents though.

Speaking of which, GTB just debited me for a transaction they intend to effect in August...and no, I didn't initiate the transaction...has anyone had a similar experience?

Well, it basically means $1500 monthly which means the monthly limit is not cumulative of the daily spend limit. And no they have actually increased because I thing it was $750 cumulative monthly spend before if memory serves me well...meanwhile, I don't still see it as a welcome development if I still have to call them each time I want to make a transaction for them to 'open up the platform for 24hrs' makes no sense to me.

Well, i only ask you to spend just 5 mins of your preciuos time to check bitx.co. take a look at the bid and ask price of bitcoin in naira then divide it by the prevailing bitcoin dollar rate . And you will see that you get a better deal there.

If it's up to 350 per bitcoin dollar (which would roughly be around $600+) then yeah, it might be worth his while.

Use verified companies like instantgoldng, nairaex and bitx. I am using them personally for my own transactions. You will get good rates from between N330 to N350. However ,you need to be registered and verified if that is not an issue with you.

Dont go by anything someone tells you. You verify things for and see for yourself.
