I was told just yesterday by a friend that had the same problem. She went to the embassy to complain and actually found out that the visa was issued and a decision made a week ago but they didn't send any update or notifications so I would be going there today...

Quite correct! same thing happened to me. I had to go to the consulate office in Victoria Island. Just be sure to go there with your collection slip from TLS.

I went there to make a complaint and was suprised when my passport and visa was given to me. I couldnt get the chance to ask or challenge the reason why my passport wasnt returned to the application center because there were so many people the officer had to attend to. Please if you are able to ask if the volume of people arent much, Kindly ask for some explanation if there is...or if it was just sheer human error.

The last mail I got was a week after biometrics which was the usual 'application received at Sheffield and being prepared for consideration by the ECO'. Since then no info, I have been tracking on tls site , no show. I sent a mail on Thurs, for which I paid almost £6. No reply as at the time of typing this post. I'm probably in the same shoes as you are however, mine is a renewal... Mine is clocked 21working days yesterday. And the reason for the intended travel is happening tomorrow Sunday. I planned to travel today. Now I can't make the event and still haven't heard any update from Tls.
I've even placed a call to them on Thursday for which I was charged £20. The feedback was that my application was treated on the 23rd of may. The question from me now is why hasnt my passport been returned? My mom also applied a week before mine and she got her visa and passport. Her visa issuance date was 18th and I was able to collect it for her on the 19th meaning it took just one day between issuance and collection. Clearly there appears to be an issue here...

Now I'm under no pressure to collect my passport and distraught at missing my event.

Hello Guys, I really dont know how it happened but one of my package just arrived about 10mins ago. It was shipped via Fedex. I was completely shocked when my receptionist told me I had a package from Fedex. I rushed downstairs to verify and I was shocked and elated to see my package! I asked the Fedex guy how they did it knowing that the sheds are still shut. He just said they had to go throw 'thick walls' to get it out...

Just to be clear, it doesnt fall in any category of the allowed items (perishables, medicines etc). the package is an electric guitar.

I pray you all expecting your packages would get them sooner than you expect because I really wasnt expecting to see mine.

I recently opted to do business with naira_host to help me host my site as well as register my domain for a fee of #20,000.

I paid for this service since 23rd of September 2010.

The only communication from them was that they have recieved payments and sent me login details to my control panel, etc.

To my amazement, the login details dont work, my domain was never registered and they havent responded to any of the support tickets I have raised. The support line doesnt work because a machine always answers in an annoying loop.

I eventually pitched my tent with another service provider (www.justhost.com) about 3weeks after this fraud, and they have now registered my domain, and Im now enjoying the service.

Has anyone done business with naira_host before?

Is there a chance I can get my initial #20,000 back?
