Religion / How Big Is The Faith Of A Mustard Seed? by beacon02(m): 3:06pm On Jan 15, 2017
I would like to give a deep insight on Matthew 17:20 which says...
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Some people believe all you need is a faith as small as mustard seed. NO! Mustard seed is so little infact, than almsot all the seeds I've ever came across. But have you ever seen the type of tree they normally give birth to? One of the biggest.

Now let us consider this little story;

In the gathering of seeds, a mango seed came out and said "watch out everyone, I'm gonna produce a big tree in the next few years". Knowing too well that the seed itself is fat and big enough, everyone clapped and believed it could.
Then orange seed came out to say thesame thing. Being a much smaller seed to the mango seed, Some people chuckled while some have believe in it.
Then a mustard seed came out and said thesame thing. Everyone lughed it to scorn. No one believe it could do so but the seed had faith in itself.
Many years later, the mustard produced a bigger tree than its counterparts. What a big faith.

Now look at Matthew 13:31
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

You need spiritual knowledge to understand most of the parables of Jesus. Little faith doesn't move moutains, great faith does...
God bless you today.

There is one thing I lernt from Robert Schuller,s Tough time never last,... and that is, ability to be always positive in tough times. There are some things you don't need to agree to, or else your spirit and destiny will agree to them. No matter the hardship, people still get job without connection. I've read many testimonies here. I'm also a living testimony. These people are positive minded people. They never get discouraged by what others are saying about recession or unemployment.
Anyone that wish to move far must start thinking positively.

Religion / Dollar To Exchange For N615 And 50 Other Prophecies For 2017 by beacon02(m): 8:40pm On Dec 30, 2016
As 2016 gradually winds to an end, many Nigerian religious
leaders have been churning out prophecies that are meant
to be earth-shaking.
One of such prophecies state that the First Lady, Aisha
Buhari, risks being poisoned by “Aso Rock forces.”
According to the President of Omega Fire Ministry,
Apostle John Suleman, in his 50 prophecies for 2017, Aisha
must be wary for her life.
As reported by Daily Post and other online media, Suleman,
in a statement issued by his Public Communications
Advisor, Phrank Shaibu, said some ‘forces’ in Aso Rock
were planning to poison Aisha and that the same ‘forces’
will alienate vice-president Yemi Osinbajo.
The prophecy states that the “Aso Villa forces” will make
attempts to remove Osinbajo from office, but they won’t
succeed.
The Apostle also said that “God will humble Buhari in
2017;” and that Mr. President will be bereaved in 2017. He
did not elaborate, however.
A summary of the prophecies, with focus on Nigeria and
the world at large, is as follows:
1. I see terrorism on the increase
2. Federal Government of Nigeria should not relax yet on
Boko Haram. It’s a deception.
3. Buhari to face impeachment threats.
4. America and China to have major face-off
5. Crude Oil to flow in Northern Nigeria.
6. Abuja to experience major fire explosion.
7. Donald Trump to face impeachment attempt as members
of congress are divided on his style of leadership.
8. I see an airplane that has Nigeria’s logo (national
carrier)
9. Things will pick up a bit in Nigeria but hunger will
persist.
10. I saw people crying over Bamanga Tukur
11. Buhari will be bereaved in 2017.
12. Ecobank, Diamond, Fidelity, GTB to retrench staff.
13. President Buhari’s health needs attention.
14. 2017 budget will have crises.
15. More judges to be humiliated.
16. MMM to dupe more Nigerians and I see court cases.
17. Dollar to exchange for N615.
18. Recession in Nigeria to become depression in 2017
19. MTN and Glo to face hardship.
20. A former First Lady of Nigeria needs prayers over her
health.
21. Forces in Aso Rock planning to poison current First
Lady (Aisha Buhari)
22. I saw huge number of Chibok girls released; some of
them with kids
23. Nnamdi Kanu’s detention to cause international crises.
God is angry with Buhari for the continued detention.
24. Donald Trump to favour Israel. American Embassy in
Israel to be moved to Jerusalem.
25. Liberian election: CONTINUITY.
26. Ghana’s new president to send many to jail.
27. Buhari and Senate to have crucial disagreement.
28. Nigeria’s Budget will be delayed.
29. I see killings in Ekiti.
30. EFCC to come after National Assembly members in
Nigeria in a politically motivated arrests because of their
refusal to confirm Magu.
31. I see kidnappers entering schools.
32. Nigeria will lose a great man of God and the New Year
is when the Nigerian government will fight the Church like
never before.
33. Some terrorists will be arrested in Lagos.
34. Traditional rulers indicted and arrested for corruption.
35. Lufthansa, Dana Air, Ghana Air, Aero Contractors… I
see staff protests.
36. America to have financial crises.
37. A serving cabinet minister in Nigeria will die.
38. Nigeria to secure foreign funds.
39. Doctors will embark on strike in Nigeria.
40. A new mega party in Nigeria will swallow up APC.
41. I see a new leadership for the APC in Nigeria.
42. I see the DSS being taken to court.
43. France, Spain, Russia to pray against train going off
the rail.
44. I saw a huge school building collapse.
45. Nollywood to pray. They will get help but will lose two
major people. The Yoruba movie industry too; but prayer
can avert it.
46. Fulani herdsmen again! Taraba, Benue, Imo and Jigawa
states.
47. Kogi State to organise state prayers to avoid major
deaths and natural disasters.
48. Edo State; major celebration but pray against road
crashes.
49. I see presidents being removed in Africa, I see
presidents being installed.
50. Two times, Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo,
will face removal from office. They will alienate him and
they will make attempts to remove him. But God will
humble Buhari in 2017.

Not less than 60 houses and shops were demolished today in Ogijo, Sagamu local government area of Ogun State.
The houses were demolished on court order over a case that has been in court for the past six years between land owners and a church which claimed to have bought the land since 1966 when everywhere was a jungle.
The land owners earlier won the case at the court before the church proceeded to court of appeal which they eventually won on 19th of this month.
Below are the pictures of some of the demolished houses.

Family / The Meaning Of "In An Open Relationship" by beacon02(m): 9:54am On Dec 21, 2016
Now, to those who use "IN AN OPEN RELATIONSHIP" in their relationship status on social media, hope you know the meaning?
Let me give you a brief analysis over that.
In an open relationship means you're in a relationship with someone but there is a mutual agreement between the two of you that you're both open to flirting, dating and seeing other people.
Some people call it friends with benefits. It is a kind of relationship that wouldn't have a good result or perfect ending.
I know most people who use it think it is a type of relationship that is known to everyone. NO! You're very wrong.
Now you already know the meaning, if that is not what you mean, simply go and change it to "IN A RELATIONSHIP" so that people won't think otherwise.
Have a wonderful day ahead.

If you're interested, state your qualification, discipline, fee and tell me in a few sentences why you're the best candidate for the task. E.g. B.Sc. Mathematics, NXX,XX, I am bla bla bla bla. I have been teaching maths for over 100 years. If I teach a student maths and he/she doesn't understand, that means the person's head is empty.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Pure and Applied Sciences.

I will shortlist the right candidate here on this thread

It is one thing to be a good problem solver, it is another thing to be able to impact it even to a worst student. That exactly is my core strenght. Even the worst student would give testimony. I have many teaching experience under my belt. Bsc mathematics. You can quote me if you fancy me.

Family / Why Single Ladies Are More Than Single Guys by beacon02(m): 8:09pm On Dec 14, 2016
Recently I've been hearing people complaining over the ratio of single ladies to single guys. Most arrived at the conclusion that it is because girls are given birth to more than the boys but I would like to disagree with such stance.
The last time I made research on male ratio female birth rate, I dscovered that boys are more birthed than girls. Only in a few countries like Norway will you see it the other way round. Even during the last annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the number of the children birthed during the program was announced and it was 5:4 boys to girls respectively.

Now here is the statistic behind your illusion...

Given that 50 boys and 50 girls are birthed today. In the next 30 years, there is a high probability that the number of boys would have reduced to 35 or less while the number of girls to 43 or more.
The reason behind this is quite natural as men are more adventurous than women. That causes the rate of mortality to be high in men as they grow older.
Here are the factors that cause high rate of mortality among men:
...Nature of job... Jobs like factory work are dangerous in many ways and it has claimed the lives of many men at their youthful age. Also, transportation is another risky job. Men majorly are the drivers of vehicles and motorcycles.

...Thuggery and Cultism... Without much explanation, I believe you know the danger it has imposed on our society.

... Military... Eventhough women also do join millitary, you can hardly see them at the war front. Ethiopia was recently ravaged by war which caused a serious reduction in men's population. The government have to force the remaining few men to marry at least 2 wives.
Some other factors are also responsible.

Now, by the time they get to their late 20s, men would have reduced in population compared to women.
So I believe this article will be helpful for you when next you are thinking why women seems to be more than men.
Have a wonderful day.
