I cringe in despair when wailers bring up govGanduje's allegation. For God's sake that man is covered by immunity clause until after office. How do you expect to try a seating governor. Reno seriously seems confused |
Exactly what Onnoghen planned to do tomorrow. Wailers stop. Crying haba
|
Tetehjewels:Obviously na, Wike's utterance two days ago in one of his campaigns was that his elections and that of pdp governors was DONE and DUSTED. Who makes such brags when your henchman (CJN) was under strings of indictive investigations. Now let's see what they will do. Worse thing is that even Senate cannot resume plenary again until after elections due to his announcement on the floor. They all played themselves. This is chess at his finest ![]() |
Tetehjewels:very true my brother. First was the speed at which the South South govs' held their emergency meeting... Secondly was that Onnoghen went on to Postpone the meeting of the NJC INDEFINITELY and now to appoint ELECTION TRIBUNAL MEMBERS tomorrow. Haba he played himself too hasty |
It was at this point I knew Onnoghen would go down today. His actions were too predictable and desperate for a CJN. what a sad way to be remembered

@Zeongeon, Thanks for the counsel given to Jusome, however (my opinion though), I think it is important while trying to promote a certification body we do not subtly discredit others in the process. Doing so will negate the value called "fair play". Simply because some UK certification bodies are big doesnt necessary mean the medium or small bodies should be kicked aside or discouraged from. Attitudes like what you wrote up here is simply the reason why Nigeria with a population of 180million and more cannot boast of other remarkable safety bodies outside ISPON. Isn't that a shame. The UK and US we are trying to emulate have well over 50 gigantic certification bodies. Come on! Because someone work for Apple doesnt mean Samsung, Nokia, Tecno, Infinix, Lenovo, LG should be avoided. This is the same attitude that is affecting virtually every sector in this Country and the reason we cant grow. No fair play and by this I mean, PDP feels its the only, APC thinks they are the all and all. UK has over 3000 safety bodies just so you know...besides some of the bodies you mention above are nothing compared to some really big ones. Bodies such as RosPA, RSPHA, ISQEM, IIRSM, AoFAQ and the Almighty BSC (British Safety Council) are safety giants in UK, these are bodies that generate traffic worth over 120,000 annually with a combined generated revenue of well over 60million pounds. In my humble opinion, i'd suggest that instead of making selections and discrediting UK training bodies, you should rather counsel him/her to ask if the body he (Jusome) talks about is registered and recognised. P.S: Also, with due respect to ISPON, i think if we really need to promote the awareness of health and safety and its practice here in Nigeria, we need to promote other Nigeria certification bodies as well. Bodies such as NISCN (which is even the mother of ISPON), Nigeria Safety Council (NSC) are also recognised by law. People are reading and thus deserve a balanced counsel. |
I beg to differ, OSHA is simply a brief abbreviation for OSHAcademy which is just a training academy. Now you must understand the difference between training academy or training body and certification bodies. OSHA represents the former, NEBOSH is a certification body. How? Certificates from training bodies can not land you any recognised membership and the certificates issued are not more than simply a training certificate. Certificates from certification bodies will land you recognition to become a member of renowed membership bodies around the world and you can build up your certification until you get something close if not similar to an academic degree. For Example, NEBOSH IGC is NVQ level 4 (OND equivalent in Nigeria), NEBOSH International Diploma is NVQ level 6 (Bsc equivalent in the world). With a NEBOSH international diploma you can go on to do your masters degree in Occupational health and safety with lots of universities in the world. My friend, do more research before we give information to innocent folks here, there is a reason why NEBOSH is the biggest and most recognised certification in health and safety in the world. Even IOSH recognises them, ROSPA depends on them, British Safety Council trains NEBOSH courses, IIRSM seeks NEBOSH endorsements for laws and conferences. Am out! |
I didnt ask her to give me condoms in the first place so why should my act of receiving it make her think of doing something stu.pid |
collele:@Collele, I know a couple of my friends who had the Novelle HSE training in Akwa Ibom and are working with the certificates. Shola is with the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Olanipekun is with PPMC Kaduna. I was not opportuned because I was serving in Kebbi and they did have a centre where I serve. Their certs are directly from UK, this is what i heard. |

Greatken007:So ISPON membership AUTOMATICALLY gives you a job? hmmm *smh* for some people sha. |
Milito:A better and superior alternative would be applying for the membership of the National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria (NISCN). They are the parent membership of which even ISPON claims to be under. Check it out www.niscn-ng.com and confirm their superiority from ISPON's website too http://www.nispnigeria.org/ |

^^^ Thanks for dropping this thread. I have gone through the exams and must say it was quite challenging 1. The HSE level 1 is a 100 multiple choice questions, level 2 is your project work and level 3 is theory. 2. To pass the level 3, simply focus on the environmental awareness and first aid section of your manual goodluck |
The ibos keep getting it wrong everytime and making them become objects of ridicule in the general scheme of things. How can someone outrightly endorse a president in November and in December you are saying another entirely different thing. the sad part is how he's seen claiming the holyspirit told him this the holyspirit told him that. I cover my face in shame! |
chrisxxx:Yes I do and that's the more reason I think along quality(candidate) and not sentiment(party). |
smartcount003:Bros I am a staunch member of our dear party PDP but will be stu.pid to sell my conscience to that party when they do the wrong thing such as presenting a bad candidate. Bro the odds are all against that dude: - he shamelessly claims he upheld PDP and fought Amaechi alone...now my definition of fight means Amaechi would have been impeached by now, but sadly that isnt the case. Abi I lie? - during his days as Chief of Staff to his boss (Amaechi), he was alleged of looting over 6billion by EFCC. Bro dont forget that that case was inconclusive and one smart dude is waiting to use it to nail him - Yesterday during the APC gub primaries, over 200 PDP chieftains declared for APC, you may say the number is small, but the last thing any true party needs now is to loose even an any from their party at this critical period. - see I can go on and on...the thing dey pain me say my party they claim strong strong yet they cant see that their opposition(APC) is scheming wisely. WAKE up! |

None that I know of except the one(Mr Wike) that openly attends their weekly (ogboni) fellowship at No.1 Aggrey road every wednesday. Beat that! ![]() |
smartcount003:While you plan voting for your party PDP do not also forget that the candidate in this your party in R/state is seen as nothing more that a thug, tout, looter and betrayer. Enjoy your wike for 8 years. ![]() |
smartcount003:Bros dont worry its the other way round...check the trend of politics and electioneering across the country and you'll see that the people vote along the line of quality candidacy not party....mark this space! |
chrisxxx:Bros I will advise you and those reasoning along you line of thought to give a rethink. I have and will always remain a zealous member of our dear PDP but Bros at my age I have learnt to shove aside sentiments and follow what I think is the right thing to do. From the strings of events in r/state I can bet that if PDP presents Wike that dude will loose big time, forget all those rented crowds you see in his GDI campaigns. The words on the street is that he is a thug, a tout, a member of ogboni, a looter and betrayal and guess what I have seen all those traits in him lately. Firstly, Amaechi is in power here, he controls the funds, he controls over 90% of the traditional chieftains (this are people that command a measure of influence in their locality), Amaechi has appealed to the sentiments of the riverine by presenting Dakuku, the religious stalwarts (e.g Pastor David Ibiyeomie has anointed Dakuku), PFN is right behind Dakuku, Tony Okocha commands his own followers in Ikwerre. My bros I can go on and on |
Samotobor1: Hello house,am a corper n i intend to start the novelle UK HSE level 1-3 course soon, pls shud i continue or enrol wit ISPONI did mine with them while serving in Uyo. They are good and my elder brother who now works with frontoil with the certificate did with them too and recommended them to me and 2 of my friends. |
The media should be blamed the most for this. When all we promote today is entertainment entertainment entertainment, and sadly the human mind responds to what it sees the most. When we were growing up in the early 90s we had lots of educative programs on tv like tales by moonlight, cowbell quiz, it-takes-2, lots and lots of debate programs. Even at a time i was picked by my school to a quiz competition at RSTV. I blame the media more |
^^^ When PDP governors defected last year nobody shouted foul, when APC blocked the budget at the house no body shouted foul. But one governor a corrupt one as that has been impeached the PDP has become wicked. You reap what you sow....simple! |
the OP is one pained fellow...sorry Davido is living the life. By the way, who told you Wizzy writes all his songs eh? Why did his career rise during his stay with Nigeria's most prolific song writer (Banky W) and began nose-diving when he left? While you're still on that, the truth be told Davido's songs are contemporary with today's naija hits, perhaps the reason why the entire african continent is dancing to his skelewu. While on that, the dude is bagging awards like crazy. I wont judge who's better yet until wizzy's album drops. *meanwhile if wizzy's anticipated album will contain the poo he drops lately as songs, then he should be ready to get the best male artist of STARBOY award. ![]() #teamdavido #teamskelewu #teamgobe #teamaye #teamtchelete #teamHKN_gang #teamOBO #teamBET2014_africaAct #teamMTVbase_bestmale2014 #teamMTVbase_bestsong Tell me wizzy's? |
