My own legs are not swollen yet o. But I av put on weight ehn. Plus I get hungry like every two hours. Why?
Am I alone in this?
It's d kind of hunger that quickly turns to anger when there is no food in sight.
We are 38 weeks today.

I heard not all mummies feel it because it depends on babys position and also the position of the placenta. But that doesnt mean the baby isnt having hicups

My baby gets hiccups like once or twice everyday. At first i was worried i wasnt drinking enough water but i read online that is natures way of helping baby to develop his or her lungs so the lungs can perform well when baby is born. Its a good sign that baby is developing well.

Is malaria present in your blood test?
If the Dr prescribed it for you please use it.
I had to use anti malaria drug during labour cuz I had high temperature which also affected baby's heart rate.
In fact baby's temp was very high when I put to bed.

Malaria drugs are not usually recommended in the last month of pregnancy. If you can endure please do and if not please check with your doctor to see if the benefit will outweigh the risk.

By now your stomach should have descended or trying to descend, it won't be pointing up again but down.
Your baby should be full term now so there isn't much space for it to turn and roll as before. Just try and time the kicks per day or if you bothered go and pay your gynea a visit, a mother's instinct doesn't fail most times. It is well with you.

Madam ur edd is 28 na. Today is just 11 (ok u want that 2weeks before edd kind of thing abi) Na so everybody want o.
Me i av dediced to jus chill and wait for baby to come whenever he is ready.
Am jus tired of this nausea....its more like am back in month 2 . D way food irritates me ehn.

Now to all other mamas.....pls o i cant seem to feel my pregnancy again in my stomach.
Abeg where d baby go? My tommy isnt even shooting out like before again. I wonder if d baby is alright.
Does d tommy reduce in size in the 9th month?

Thats what i learnt from this thread o. I guess the pepper soup contains certain ingredients that can cause the fetus to be expelled.

Ermmm mamas I'm a bit concerned that I've not started having Braxton hicks, don't even know what it feels like since they say it's a way the body prepares for the main thing. Is there any cause for alarm? Or something I can do, I'm 36weeks+

As for d braxton hicks...this week i av felt very serious ones especially today.
It later stopped in the afternoon.

Mamas abeg...from what week can a pregnant woman already in her delivery month start taking pepper soup and pineapple.
Been craving iced pineapple for sometime now. Am in d 37th week.

Hello mamas, sorry to take ur time on this. Its not even a birth story.
I'd like for us to discuss a very sensitive topic. I know most women/mothers shy away from this topic so i really would not mind if i dont get enough feedback. However i ll appreciate if i can get a few responses.

First, i want to appreciate God almighty for blessing us with d fruit of the womb. Some of us so easily and even those of us who didnt find it easy but got there at last, thanks to God almighty.

On this same thread, mothers have birthed thier babies, some through Vaginal Birth and others through C-Section.
For me and some other soon to be new moms out there, there is this general notion that once a woman has had a baby her body no longer remains d same again. Hmmmm. Let me jus hit d nail on the head. In other words, she becomes really loose down there especially if she has jus had a VD. How true is this assertion? Is there any effective remedy?

Once i jokingly told my mum i was going to have my baby through CS and she quickly rebuked me and rejected it on my behalf'IJN'.
I really dont understand. I have a feeling that having a CS makes birthing easier and nothing tampers with ur body down there.
But i notice a lot of people are strongly against CS like its some form of taboo or sth.

That being said, i dont av any idea on how both childbirth processes work and what effect they have on the body.

As i gradually approach my delivery date, i av to be sincere, i have several fears and worries as a first time mom. Yes, i believe in God. I av prayed and still praying but i am still scared.

I wonder if i can get inputs on this from experienced mothers on the thread. Especially in a way that would not lead to arguments or one person trying to act like they know more than the other.
As we all know, body structure varies thus no one can categorically state that what happened to her must av happened to someone else.

Therefore, i ll really appreciate if we can jus drop our inputs and go. No need to quote anyone and term their submission as right or wrong.
