Make sure you put ur baby's mouth on the black part of your nipple.. I found out my tips became sore when my princess kept dragging it with her gum.. Make sure your baby's mouth is positioned well

Sis, pele. Na read I read am o & I say make I share. It'll get better with time. That nipple soreness can be painful sha but from what I heard & eventually experienced with my first, his continued latching and sucking of the breast healed it.

Hmmm. Thank u ma. Trust me its not easy. Av had a hard time explaining to my hubby that this breastfeeding thing hurts badly. My baby has no teeth yet it feels like hes biting me. .

Home remedies for blocked milk duct

If you are a nursing mother and you constantly experience reduced milk supply in your boobs, redness, and soreness, pain around a breast or both. You might just be suffering from blocked milk duct which is caused by stress, lack of sleep, tight bras or clothing, certain sleeping positions and many other factors. To get rid of the pain real quick here are some effective home remedies that would prove effective.

Massage

This you can do yourself right before breastfeeding your baby. Massage the affected breast with both hands and try to squeeze out the blockage by using your index finger and thumb.

Garlic and honey

A blocked milk duct could easily result in mastitis, to prevent this eventuality crush some garlic cloves and mix with honey. Drink this mixture regularly.

Take a hot shower

With coconut oil in hand direct hot water onto the affected breast and massage with coconut oil for fast relief from clogged milk duct.

Pineapple juice

Pineapple contains Bromelain that works effectively in reducing inflammation and blockage found in the clogged milk duct. Drink a cup or two of freshly squeezed pineapple juice on a daily basis to fix this, you should also take foods rich in vitamin C like broccoli, tomatoes, kiwi fruit, orange, grapefruit, etc.

Mine is, soreness around the nipple. Am really scared of breastfeeding. Cos once baby's lips are around my nipple it all pains.
So i thought it was normal.

It started on wednesday 10/01/18 at about 7pm. I was in the toilet when i had d urge to throw up. As i tried to turn na so i vomit for the whole toilet. I started feelng feverish nd pains down below. I thot it was labour on getting to hosputal the nurse laffed and said you have not started go home. I kuku return home. The next morning the hospital called me to come for check. After d check i went to market. As i was buying, d pains continued but a bit intense. After buying i stocked my house jeje in pains because my lazy dh will die if i dont make provisions. I couldnt cook.
By 7pm d contractions became worse. We went to asibitu again

Madam.. sorry 4 d cut, datz Hw my twinny get a very big cut & d suture remove during naming ceremony.. (everybody was damn scare) but she started putting salt & detol in hot water & she wl sit on it, then after some time, she wl nw deep dry clean clothes in d water & put on d face of d cut repeat d process like 5min).

lo,& behold within one week d cut close up & after 2 weeks it heal finally..

If its navel, it takes 1-2 weeks before it fall off. Once its pass two weeks and it still there please take him to doc. Mine fell off exactly 7 days.
You may continue with methylated spirit.

So my prince will be two weeks tomm and his cord is yet to fall off.

Any suggestion or ideas about how the cord can fall off aside applying methylated spirit will be highly welcome.

You better rejoice and be glad. Some babies are like that, but then with time, they change. My babe fit pity me sleep really well some days, then change after some days. I enjoy the sleep time when it comes, and move around like zombie at other times

I remember one incidence that happened one night in her first week that she didn't sleep all through the night. In the morning, mumsy bathed her and she started sleeping (she would sleep all day and stay awake all night). Just as I wanted to start my own sleep, an aunt visited. It was not enough that I had to deprive myself of sleep to answer her o, she went straight to carry up sleeping baby! Ahswearrigad if eyes were bullets, she for don die
It was so painful to watch the way she carried her and started shaking her that she must wake up for her to see
All my pleas of "babe didn't sleep all night" fell on deaf ears. Immediately baby finally woke, she just forwarded her to me to breastfeed.

I jus dey swear for her for my mind


All am trying to say is, as long as he wakes up to feed regularly, enjoy your sleeping Prince now o, e go soon change

get diclofenac that drug was my life saver when i was in pains after cs!
as for the cut your mode of pushing may have been the cause or your baby was facing upwards as he or she crowns. note even 1.kg baby can cause massive tearing it a depends on circumstance and expertise of youp doc.
