bigmodo:
my advice to you would be to find a life partner in your area and quit searching for one online. believe it rarely works.
Please, can you clarify me on what you mean by my 'area'. Do you mean 'Village', 'Work place' or 'My street'? I grew up in a big city with people of diverse cultures and everyone is 'on his own'. Or do you mean other 'areas' like 'Church' or 'School' etc?

That sounds 'old fashioned'. Do you have any guarantees that it works?

Hello Ladies,

I'm a good-looking and young Engineer in my late 20's, working with a good company. I am in search of a young and pretty lady for a marriage relationship.

I am not so choosy but I have some specifics that should be right:

1. Should be below 25 years
2. Should be Igbo (Preferrably from Anambra or Enugu State) or its environs
3. Should be a good cook and be able to take care of a home
4. Should be humble and homely
5. Should be tall, fair, slim, be cheerful and natural (not to any extreme)

In addition, the following MUST be met:

1. She MUST be a Catholic or willing to become one
2. She MUST be from a good Christian family and upbringing and MUST be God fearing
3. She MUST be educated and presentable i.e. Should have finished from a higher institution and should be self-confident and can express herself very well

If you're born a Leo (i.e. between July 23 to August 22) or a Sagittarius (i.e. between November 22 to December 21), it would be an added advantage.

Please, if you do not meet the above, don't bother calling. Interested ladies ONLY may wish to call or text me on: 0703 227 8080

You won't regret it!

God bless you.

There are three parts to go through in two hours. You will not have time on your side

Part 1
50 objective questions to answer all. Each correct answer attracts a mark as well as each incorrect answer removes a mark. Don't guess please.

Part 2
3 essay questions to answer one. Your English is tested in this section. Please do not draw diagrams. Practice to write essays with the attached questions now.

Part 3
10 questions to answer all. These questions are in accordance with your first choice. Draw diagrams as much as possible.

Wish you the best.
PoliticsPlease Vote For My Idea To The Obama Team: A Proposal For World Anti-terrorism by bebrief(op): 6:51pm On Dec 11, 2008
Good day all Good people of Nairaland.

I've submitted an idea and wanted to see if you could quickly vote for it. The title is: A proposal for World Anti-Terrorism. You can read and vote for the idea by clicking on the following link:

http://www.change.org/ideas/view/a_proposal_for_world_anti-terrorism

The top 10 ideas are going to be presented to the Obama Administration on Inauguration Day and will be supported by a national lobbying campaign run by Change.org, MySpace, and more than a dozen leading nonprofits after the Inauguration. So each idea has a real chance at becoming policy.

Thanks for the support,

PoliticsRe: As Obama Heads For The White House by bebrief(op): 6:35pm On Jun 04, 2008
"But this is our moment. This is our time. Our time to turn the page on the policies of the past and bring new energy and new ideas to the challenges we face. Our time to offer a new direction for the country we love." - Barack Obama

It's very tough to run against a movement such as this (Obama), whose time has come!
PoliticsAs Obama Heads For The White House by bebrief(op): 5:59pm On Jun 04, 2008
It’s a movement for change… change you can believe in! One you can trust, one you can hope for. At first they don’t believe him, but now its clear that he’s real – the ‘Obama phenomenon’. Yes we can…and so the song goes. Yes we can bring true change to America. Truly, we can! The stakes are high for the presidency and Obama seems to be headed for the white house with so much momentum and fresh blood.

Who’s Obama? A senator with a humble beginning and much more… He’s got flare and ideas. He’s a true match of a ‘realistic idealist’. He’s a man of subtle power and great intelligence, ready and able to wheel the vehicle of change. He’s the right mix to unify and strengthen America and restore it to the glory of the ‘United States’, to shore up her foundations and secure her position in the committee of nations. He intends to re-write the history books real big and in style!

What about Obama? Some say he’s reshaped American politics and the stakes have been raised higher than ever. He’s got guts and conviction to. He knows what he wants and exactly how to get it and that’s what makes him stand out. He’s one, whose vision for America like that of John F. Kennedy, knows no bounds and whose maturity surpasses his age. My advice to Obama is: keep being level headed, dwell more on your deliverables, maintain humour and show more stability. Then you’ll be unstoppable!

It’s about revamping the US – a nation at the brink of recession. No more business as usual, but a more holistic economic boost is most urgently needed. In addition, she has to deal with imminent internal and external crises such as healthcare and the war in Iraq. Obama told the Reno Gazette-Journal editorial board recently that "Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not. He put us on a fundamentally different path because the country was ready for it". Now, the time is ripe – America is ready for change.

To all who believe in that change you can trust, to all the good people of the US, Obama needs your support and together, we’ll change our world. He needs your vote. Vote Obama, for President!
RomanceShould I Get Married Early In Life? by bebrief(op): 4:08am On Apr 19, 2008
Hi all, I thank all Nairalanders for all the good work!

I'm a young Engineer and I just got a job about 6 months ago, after finishing my Youth Service last year. Though the pay is not so good, I think I hope to get something better soon. But I'm also running my Post graduate in the mean time.

I have this unusual urge to settle down early in life. I grew up with a high sense of responsibility and maturity and I feel getting married will help me be more focused in life. I intend to get married at the age of 26. This is because I don't want to make so many mistakes and fall into temptations, which are all over me. Also, I plan to raise my kids while I'm still actively working and to see my grand children by the grace of God. However I'm the first son and I come from the South East part of Nigeria. I don't know how my parents and relatives will take it for me to marry so early. My peers are not yet thinking of marriage and many are still in school.

I have found the queen of my heart, a graduate too, and I intend to take her to the alter soon. But I'm not so wealthy yet, but we intend to manage our resources together, till things get better. Am I too forward? Must I wait till I make it all in life before I get married? Do I not have enough reasons to go ahead and get married?

I need your honest response.

@ poster, i understand what you are going through, you are convinced but still have a little doubt, it's okay. It happens to everyone of us. Don't mind them acting like they have never experienced such before.

Its okay to follow your heart. Everybody would age someday whether she looks older than you or not.

So Bros, if you love her, if she is all you desire in a woman, go for her. Life is to be lived to the fullest. Love is all that matters. It covers alot.

Cheers!!!
Thanks Steaming, you're great!

You wear my shoe and you know where it pinches me, Some atom of doubt and confusion always creeps up.

All I need is some reasurance and you just gave it to me!

Thanks a million, and one!

Love you all,
RomanceMy Fiancé Is Two Years Older Than Me by bebrief(op): 5:27am On Apr 15, 2008
Hi all, I have this girl I've been dating and I intend to marry her soon. She's homely, loving and caring and she posses all I need in a wife. But she is two years older than me, and that does not bother me. I believe age is a thing of numbers. We share so much in common: religion, likes, blood group etc, we reason together and we understand ourselves so much, but I don't intend to tell my parents of her age. Am I doing the right thing? Should I go ahead with my plans? I need your honest advise!

It is mine and I claim it, Amen

Best of luck to all hopefuls in the house, just keep watch and pray.

I called the NLNG line earlier and the reply I got is that they do not know when the next will be

But lets hope for early next week, at most!
