Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by beckycute1: 2:11pm On Sep 20, 2017
Hello all.. I applied for a PGD with Selkirk College and they reverted saying I have more than the 4 year gap required after 1st Degree.

Is this rule applicable to other Canadian schools for PGD..

I have a 3.49 cgpa and it will be difficult getting into a direct masters programme.

I need the gurus advice pls

Hello all,

Well done on the wonderful job you are you doing here.

I have a question that I need clarification to

Is it possible for a Bsc holder (2.2) in Economics to apply for a diploma in Energy Asset Management?

Poster works in an oil and gas Servicing firm... But has a goal of switching fully to the IOC sector
...

The switch in course and diploma is to ease the transition to the sector....

What are the chances of getting into the diploma program?

During visa application will it pose a problem?

I look forward to your responses... Thank you

Very true.... Thx for taking out time to respond

michV:
the 2 countries are good places to study. You work part during school hours and full time during vacation in both countries.canada gives you longer PGWP if you studied 2yrs program but has thesame 1yr PGWP if you studied 1yr Program in both countries.in terms of Canada they say opportunities to work are there but the Ireland study/travel thread is INEFFECTIVE on Nairaland to get information on people's experiences/stories in that country too. I believe every country has its opportunities if you get to know and study your environment and do an advantageous program of study. Furthermore ife niile si na akara aka(destiny) no be by struggle.

smiley Aunty becky, olaniyisal and I were refused using company sponsorship. Did the VO think sponsorship was not credible enough with the sufficient account balances? I can't say

Maybe if Chevron, Shell, Microsoft, GTB, Diamond or such popular companies with billions or multimillions was sponsoring you, I'd say go ahead.

Thanks, but how can they doubt the credibility...did they state the reason for refusal... I would appreciate a response
