1. Has far as I know, You will need work authorization to work in the US in order to work legally but you dont need papers to work under the table.

2. Well if you want to study in the US, As an international student you need F1 Visa but as a domestic application, You need resident permit.

3. I think K1 Visa says you must get married within 3 months of entering the US. Well, as for the funny part, she may act funny cos she might have trust issues as thats not her fault, she has been through some sh*t

4. It MAY raise suspicion at the immigration and which guys might be thoroughly subjected to further investigation and at that point, your best bet is to consult with an immigration lawyer, they are in best position to give you guys advice..

My Advice, search your heart thoroughly and ask yoursef if you want to get married to her. You guys will sure have issues maybe after you get married and comes to filing of green card. she might hesitate at first due to experience but you keep pushing her, she will think otherwise. Marry for love and not for papers(getting married to an american for love is the best because the papers will be an added advantage). True American love is the sweetest thing after fried plantain

If you marry for papers only, you might not really enjoy the relationship with her because your mind will be focused on papers only and you might be blinded to other things BUT I tell you, American love sweet, I swear and their bitterness no be here if she knows you are deceiving her.
