You didn't work for eight months why should you be paid? A better way of going about it will have been to teach the students, examine them but don't release their results. This alone will cause a graduation crisis, NYSC crisis, labor market crisis. The students and their guardians will be the once pressing governments neck. As a lecturer you can't be accused of not working.

Remember BVAS, the so called powers these local politicians have is the ability to steal ballot, or go take ballot box to thumb print somewhere has been watered down significantly

The only issue I see is him having trusted polling officers in the various polling units who would not be moved by monies to look the other way with monetary inducement.

People are more in tuned to vote for particular candidates who are pulling their weight ( i am sure your candidate may win)and not the band wagon effect of thumb printing for a particular party

As regards increment in number of registered voters, it has always been like that since 2011. We always have more voters every 4yrs. So many factors play huge role in this.
The point of polling officers is also valid. I worked with inec between 2011 to 2016.
PDP and APC controls that aspect.
I won't say much about that due to obvious reasons

Like I stated earlier, politics is a game of interest. My friend's Uncle is an APC Honourable in Oyo state. That constituency is locked down for Tinubu and this man. Some days ago he commissioned a small stadium for the community and shared laptops for students. I was with him when he commissioned some bore holes 2 years ago.
Politics is grass rooted. The comments online won't transform to votes.
Concerning the bagagges u are talking about, if anyone have any case against BAT, they should go to court and get him disqualified.
