ottawasenators: Full story below
Decision to Travel: November 2017, after proper analysis of the inherent benefits.
Family composition: 2
POF composition: 25 % from pension fund and 75% fixed deposit
Post AOR:
- Provided reference letter of PA in desired IRCC formats.(no payslip provided) - Thought it wise to provide reference letter for supporting applicant since majority of funds came from supporting applicant, just for 2 previous jobs though. Reference letter for current job was not included. Also no payslips. Wanted to keep application as simple and straight forward as possible.
A wise woman once told us that there is always something that needs an explanation, hence we included LOE to explain change of name, travel history and police certificate.
A separate LOE was included in the POF placeholder to properly explain composition of funds.

Gr8fulHeart: Hello house. Gdafternoon. Have been a silent but albeit reader here and I always get confused. Hv tried reading from part1 still I confuse die. Well I tried the crs score and it was quite low. I was advised to add a certification course to it. I decided to do cipm but the cipm has 3 stages. Can I just do first stage and get the cert and add it to wes for evaluation. Aside wes is there any other that renders such service..Or can the house just suggest a one time course certificate. I'm just CONFUSED. Cc madam ifeoma77.(do enjoy ur day sis) u hv been of good help in this thread. Advice pls Everyone. Anyone As for CIPM,completion of ALL stages is what qualifies you for Induction/Membership so no,you can’t just do 1 for the purpose of Assessment. I believe you’ve made all enquiries necessary, especially estimated time of completion. All the best. Cheers |

WhiteUlquiorra: Hello nairalanders, I decided to emigrate January 2018 and since then I have been a silent voracious reader of all Canada immigration threads. I'm not exaggerating when I say I probably would not have PPR today without the valuable information obtained here. Now that the journey is at its end, I feel the need to share my story. Perhaps it would help someone out there. My application is a bit peculiar because my wife got pregnant with our second child sometime in May 2018, so we applied as a family of three with the hope that we would be in Canada by the time the baby is born. As God would have it, progress was slow, baby was born and PPR came a few days later. Instead of sending our passports, we notified IRCC of the change in family composition, provided POF for a family of four and other documents and a second PPR was issued. See timeline below:
WES completed - 03 Sep 2018 IELTS - 04 Sep 2018 (upon EOR of 3rd attempt) ITA - 05 Sep 2018 AOR - 11 Oct 2018 Biometrics request - 08 Nov 2018 Biometrics completed 13 Nov 2018 First PPR - 28 Jan 2019 CSE to CIC & OVO - 29 Jan 2019 Request Letter - 31 Jan 2019 Submission of ADR to include new born - 15 Feb 2019 Second PPR - 19 Feb 2019
The lesson here is to not loose hope. Things did not move along as smoothly as described in the timeline especially with the WES and IELTS but that's a story for another day. Commit it to God, do your research, perservere and you'll be fine. Congratulations! The Lord really has done a good thing!!! Cheers to our new CannyBaby! Congratulations to all recent PPR recipients. May our new country favour you! |

GloShare: Hello guys,
I'm still stuck with IELTS writing. It feels worse because I actually write for a living.
I have decided to unlearn everything I know, and re-learn from scratch. I need people to help me look through my essays. Please.
I've registered for the third time with MOD for the March 2nd Test.
Earlier tests had me at 6.5 for writing, with reading, listening and speaking standing at 8, 8.5 and 8 respectively. Don’t be discouraged please. That you write for a living got me. We could go through your works together should you decide to follow through with re-writing (Or Remark if you’re quite sure/positive about it) It’s definitely just a little tip holding you down at that 6.5. Let’s talk if you don’t mind. P.S: I had just 8 in writing twice o(not 9). |

]And some others[/b]: I was worried about how I would tell my parents, especially my mum about my approval. My younger brother left the country first, then my older brother (she was greatly affected by that one), now her only remaining child here (plus only daughter kwa), me. I know she wants the best for us but would prefer us being in proximity to them. So, I called my mum yesterday and told her; Mum: (shouting for joy) ehen remember you promised to take me out when you get approval. I want to go to Jevinik. Me: Jisos! mummy I thought you’d be sad. (disappointed but relieved) Mum: I’m sad you’ll be leaving but I know better now. This country holds no hope for you, look at how long you’ve been out of job. Go and find something new, just do my visa for me.
I am currently filling visa applications for them —————————- I did actually shed a tear and I don’t even know you. Hmmmm I truly rejoice with you. God never fails. That Momc’s part is DEEP! Congratulations once again dear. |

klawaaa: Thanks. I really appreciate. I plan to register in some months time after much practice. My previous exams I did not involve in much practice... even when I practice now I still don’t know why I miss out the answers while listening to the audio. Also, I notice major problem on the 3rd and the 4th sessions of the listening test especially the multiply choice questions. On the reading, I do have problem with matching headings and it takes me a lot of time getting main idea of paragraphs. Please what can be my best way to solve this problems You’ll be fine dear. For that Listening(all sections),you need FOCUS,SPEED and a RICH Vocabulary. Wouldn’t want to derail the thread so you may wish to check ieltsadvantage.com as well as ieltsonlinetests as soon as you’re ready to practice. I’m sure you’ld get the hang of it. If you still don’t,holla. We await your good news. Cheers. |

klawaaa: Hello everyone, Please, I seriously have challenge with IELTS and dont know what to do. Several attempt for the exam and my score seems not to make any difference. First attempt LRSW: 5.5,5,6.5,6.5. Second attempt: LRSW: 5.5,6.0,6.5,6.5. Now, I do undertstand that I need min of 8777 to achieve my goal... Please, what can I do people. I will appreciate you people advice. Thanks My 2cents: Wait! Don’t rush into another attempt just yet. While waiting,PAUSE the practice and get more comfortable with the English language in its entirety instead. By this I mean, download and listen to podcasts on topics you love, read any E or print materials on what you love, chat with folks in proper English etc. These will consciously/unconsciously enrich your vocabulary, help you comprehend speeches better as you hear and then you proceed to practice/simulate exam conditions. Truth is you may find practice tests boring and tiresome most times. Summary: Try a new strategy! Las las,you will ‘smash’ Ielts and be better for it. Cheers! |
