If you already have a B.Sc, the fees will not be so much and there are opportunities for scholarship.

To be admitted, you will need your B.Sc and IELTS. I don't think you need any other examination. At least, not for Canada.

Depends on what you're studying & where you're studying (which province and which school).

Chemical engineering, but I've not yet done a lot of research on Canadian universities.

Let's say I'm going on scholarship, because actually that is the plan, how much will it cost to write all the necessary exams, get a visa, pay for a flight ticket, and such. In short, if I'm going to study in Canada on scholarship how much should I be ready to raise?

For Canada:
The most convenient method is to apply to a certificate program that lasts 18-24 months. These programs are usually relatively cheap and you could pay for them yourself if you work well (within legal limits).

After the program, you will get a work permit equal to the length of the program. Then after that, depending on the province you choose, you get permanent residence. Many colleges will give you admission before you can finish saying I want to apply.

For some time now I've being trying to make up my mind on a country which I'd like to migrate to when I'm done with my BSc, and where I'd further my education, and probably get a dual citizenship or return to Nigeria after some time. It has been really tough for me, considering that where I choose to stay will have a live-long effect on me.



I'd like to hear from people who have been in my shoes before, and people who have traveled the world and know more about life in other countries.
