The police in Niger State have apprehended one Yusuf Duguri, 26, and Abubakar Adamu, 45, both of Gedi-Gedi area of Zaria Road, Kano State, for alleged car theft.

According to the police, the suspects approached one Umar Abdulazeez of Bagdad Motors, Bauchi on the pretext that they wanted to buy his Honda Accord car.

The car dealer was said to have given them the key to test the vehicle only for Duguri and Adamu to zoom off with the car.

The suspects hypnotised their victim with charms.

They were reportedly caught while negotiating to sell the stolen car in Suleja.

Disney is currently developing an African fairy tale movie titled “Sade’’.

The Hollywood based entertainment company is working with Nigerian-American producer and director, Rick Famuyiwa.

Sade, according to news from Disney over the weekend, will be centered on an African princess after the fashion of the commercially successful “Black Panther’’.

The movie was pitched by Nigerian writer, Ola Shokunbi and American writer, Lindsey Reed Palmer and was subsequently bought by Disney.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been sentenced to two years imprisonment by a Spanish court.

The new Juventus signing will however not see the inside of a prison cell.

But he must pay a hefty fine after coming to an agreement over evasion allegations.

Ronaldo will accept a two-year prison sentence and a fine worth €19 million.

This coming after he strike a deal with Spanish authorities over tax charges.

A family-run YouTube channel, Ryan ToysReview generated about $11 million in pretax income in 2017, according to Forbes’ annual list of the highest-earning YouTube celebrities.

Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika on Wednesday unveiled the name of Nigeria’s national carrier, as well as the logo at the Farnborough International Airshow in London.

Sirika said the national airline’s name is Nigeria Air.

During the unveiling, the minister said, “this will be a National Carrier that is Private sector-led and driven. It is a business, not a social service. Government will not be involved in running it or deciding who runs it. The investors will have full responsibility for this.”

The Nigerian Government will not own more than 5% (maximum) of the new National Carrier. Government will not be involved in running it or deciding who runs it,” he said

He added that government is in talks with aircraft providers, “We’ve been talking to Airbus and Boeing (and they’re present at this event) regarding the aircraft for and we will be making announcements very soon. We are currently negotiating.”
