Don't be fooled if anyone tells you you can get a USA upwork account. There is an SSN unique to all USA residents. You will be asked to provide it. Well, there are a lot of fake SSN on the internet. I used one of them two days ago. Upwork must have tried to verify the SSN number as my account was blocked in less than 24 hours. If you are a USA resident and you have your SSN, you are good though
