i am feeling the logic you are using. There is a small problem though, many people seem to still automatically assume all domains are .com. If you put .com.ng you may hemorrhage your users to another site just because some are not observant enough to note the .ng at the end.

I was one of the first promoter of the .ng extension until i quickly noticed this sad problem

Domain names are not case sensitive

Don't deceive yourself. There could be a time when the foriegn country you reside in right now decides to send you packing for no good moral, ethical or legal reason. Think its not possible? Read through history, not just Nigerians and Africans, it happens a lot.

Too many people are lazy that is the real problem. they live in a comport zone and subconsciously they are happier there then anywhere else even if they tell others they want to improve their lives. these kind of people often believe the world owes them a living but in reality it doesn't get back to work!

How many times has a business expert come onto the forum telling young grads to get self employed to save themselves from economic conditions only to hear the graduates lament saying things like "I cannot start pure water business, that kind of work is beneath me!". But what they don't realize is the expert isn't telling them to a start pure water business, what he or she is actually saying is become pro active in your financial development.

You can even offer people a training program in online business that is free, As soon as people see there is a little reading or effort involved they run a mile.

The problem is not economic situations or no jobs, the problem is YOU are not hungry. When you become hungry you will do.

Most wannabe online business people seem to feel that working daily to grow your business is the same as catching a contagious disease.

There are one or two syllable domain names that can go for over a 8 million dollars. But I suggest that you should think of your business and allow your domain to help you grow your money organically. It would be worth more to you in the long run.

There are domain brokers who handle these kind of things for a small fee. These guys couldnt even afford that?!

I have over 40 personal domains (active or packed) and have received this same mail you got not on one occasion.

My ten kobo advice for you is to ignore the mail. If they r interested in your domains, they'll contact you in a more professional manner.

Don't fall prey to this cheap scam!

You have a business too, just because their business may be bigger doesn't mean they are allowed to bully you. Tell them that your domain name is an intrinsic part of your business and you cannot give it up. If they continue to contact you speak to your solicitor then inform these people that going the legal route will be your game plan if you are not left to your business.
