Yet again another planting season is upon us and I know a lot will be hitching to farm but couldn't due to lack of knowledge and fund, this is why I want to provide this platform for such individuals so as to form a cluster and do great things even with limited fund and resources, this as being helpful in countries countries Kenya, ghana etc where farmers form a cluster and share resources to achieve greatness. We can also do same here so if you're interested in this initiative am not talking about procrastinator here I mean if you really want to get your hands dirty and you're ready for this planting season pls signify. Note that there's an hectare on available for this project in Ogun state we can get more if need be.

Yes,there are land for lease in ogun state and the price depend on location but you can like 10k per acre and sometime 15k per hectare in my area

Seriously it will be great bro, but the cost of land and all charges around lagos is too high. Why I say in benue is that, we have so many fertile land wasting away without being used. Like in my village as far you are from that place you don't buy land. And you know major produce of benue is yam and cassava.

You can get land in ogun state for lease at a very cheap price and there are fertile too though I understand you point

Why not set up the farm somewhere close to lagos let say ogun state foe example where their hectares of land you can get

I am not sure. These stayed these long because of land preparation, drips and mulch laying. However, they are constantly wet with folia fertilizers.
From the things i have read, the recommended duration is 3-4 weeks. But IMO this is based on the plant development.
