They do. They get 10% from all salary of their client. Pretty standard. Transfers are one in a 5 yrs deal...so you want hunger to kill your agent if you have no transfer in 10yrs? Lol...kokikiki.

Every time it's only Igbos, Hausa-Fulani, SS and Middle belt soldiers are dying. What day have you heard of an afonja soldier die? Where are afonja soldiers? They no dey die or are they not in the military? Wicked fake patriotic things...they claim to love one Nigeria but will never serve their country. Same thing happened in the civil war, over 90 percent of Nigeria soldiers that died were Hausa-Fulani and middle belt.

Edit: They will start replying me now and telling us how smart they are. This is to tell you how useless and senseless these people are; claiming smartness for patriotism. SMH

Typical Nigerians don't judge Mikel without hearing his side of the story.

Nigerians think those big money they hear Mikel makes is his actual income. ..LOL. If you hear he makes 30000 pounds a week for example, divide it by 3, so 10000 pounds his all that he takes home after paying about 30-40 percent in taxes, 10% agent fee, mortgage, car, family and home expenses at least 10000 pounds a month. At the end of the month, I assure you Mike might have not more that 40000 pounds in the bank assuming no emergencies and family dramas. Out of the 40000 pounds, he takes another 20 - 30% to invest into his investments pretty sure he has some that requires operation costs. Now that he plays in China is the only time he gets to save money in taxes.

Have you wondered why most athletes go broke when they retire or stop working? Because they don't have much money as we think.

Really? How so? Because you're just posting pictures of random people with facial scarification which is a common feature in African tribes.

But the one below is definitely Igbo scarification which means you have no business insulting some other people if they have facial scarification.

But I'm sure your mind can't process what I just wrote. Take your time.

Afonjas ashamed of their primitive tribal marks now calling it " facial scarification"...hahahaha

A former Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has linked the failure of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration to save for the rainy day, despite oil boom, to the insistence of state governors that funds in the Excess Crude Account must be shared.

According to Okonjo-Iweala, as finance minister, with the backing of Jonathan and ex-Vice-President Namadi Sambo, she had a running battle with state governors, who insisted that there was no need to save despite that crude oil was selling at $86 per barrel.

The former minister said this in her book, “Fighting Corruption Is Dangerous: The Story Behind the Headlines,” published recently.

President Muhammadu Buhari who succeeded Jonathan has been blaming his inability to deliver on his critical campaign promises on the shortage of funds.

Buhari had lamented that the government was broke due to the failure of the previous administration to save when oil price was high.

The country went into an economic recession in 2016.

But Okonjo-Iweala, who doubled as Coordinating Minister for the Economy under Jonathan, identified the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who was then Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum; the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, then Edo State Governor; and Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State, as the most strident voices against the proposition to retain funds in the ECA for the rainy day.

According to Okonjo-Iweala, the National Economic Council meetings used to turn stormy whenever the debate about sharing what was in the ECA came up, noting that only a few governors, such as then Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State, supported the argument for saving but their voices were drowned by the majority who insisted that the country was already experiencing the rainy day and the money should be shared.

Okonjo-Iweala, who had her first stint as finance minister between 2003 and 2006 under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, noted that Obasanjo’s administration created the ECA to solve the problem of Nigeria’s volatile revenue.

The idea was that during good times, when the price of oil was high in the international markets, Nigeria could budget domestically at a lower price, save the difference and then have these resources available during bad times when international oil prices were low. In this way, the budget could help smooth out government expenditures and consumption,” she said.

The ex-finance minister noted that between 2004 and 2007, Obasanjo’s administration was able to save $22bn, which the late former President Umaru Yar’Adua’s administration fell back on, to prevent the country from slipping into an economic recession during the global financial and economic crisis that occurred between 2008 and 2009.

[s]Stop Campaign Of Calumny Against Finance Minister, Group Cautions Nigerians

Published 1 min ago on July 15, 2018

By Abuja, Ebriku John Friday

The Coalition of Civil Society Groups (CCSG) has called on Nigerians to stop the campaign against the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, saying the campaign was done in bad faith and to distract her.

The group in a Communiqué’ signed by seven different organisations after it meeting in Lagos called on Nigerians to discard the judgment and condemnation trailing the News space. It stated that there is no caveat on the age and time to request for exemption letter if one is above the Youth Service Year of 30.

“The Group notes that, the purpose of the youth service scheme is primarily to inculcate in Nigerian Youths the spirit of selfless service to the community, and to emphasize the spirit of oneness and brotherhood of all Nigerians, irrespective of cultural or social background. “Secondly foreign graduate are not mobilized from the school of study directly but by the application of interested graduate.

“On the time to approve and exempt any person is not bound by time if the circumstances surrounding the exemption are considered cogent by the Directorate,” it said.

It said further that it will be out of place to condemn the minister’s sincere gesture to secure what was due to her as at the time she applied for it. And that she is also not guilty to have stayed back after her studies as long as the reasons for that action are reasonable and justifiable.

“It is on this ground that we make bold to say that the hullabaloo occasioned by the media publication was done in bad faith and to cause distraction at this period, this we don’t need as a nation especially at this period.

Hence we call on well-meaning Nigerians to discard the judgment and condemnation trailing the News space.

Milking Igbo businesses to feed Northerners and Afonjas. Go to Onitsha, Aba and NNewi and see them harrasing Igbo businesses everyday. My uncle has this small spare parts shop, but I was shocked when he showed me over half a million paid in tax. I asked him if you pay this much in tax, how much does the distributor or importer pay? He that big shop there is a major importer and pays over 10 million in import duties and taxes a month. I almost fainted!

The most underrated city in Nigeria. Give me 10 billion naira and ask me where I would like to live in Nigeria, in a heart beat, I'll pick Enugu. That's the point I was trying to make to Afonjas this morning but they don't see it. Just as they brought in Buhari who has destroyed this country, they have okayed him to go ahead and finish the country off indirectly with the so called Ekiti victory without knowing what they have done. Afonjas, Afonjas, Afonjas...there is a reason why 3 SW states WEAC result was competing with states like Zamfara, Katstina, Gombe and Jigawa for 20th to 35th position. It is an indication that Afonjas have lost the ability to reason. Even Kano, Kaduna states were ahead of 3 SW states in the last WEAC.
