My friend Afanjo said he shouted "Nnamdi kanu", but Kanu didn't answer. Until he shouted "supreme leader" before Kanu turned surprised he knew him. Kanu was wearing a white shirt and a grey pant.

Nafajo why didn't you snap him? My friend said he left his phone charging at home because there was no light...

Fanajo is a very trustworthy person and I believe him. This is consistent with what Orji Kalu said earlier this year that Kanu escaped to London through Malaysia.

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been spotted by security agents in Ghana.


There has been controversy over the whereabouts of the IPOB leader who was last seen in public in September 2017 before the military launched Operation Python Dance II — apparently to quell the agitation for the breakaway of south-eastern Nigeria.

Since the military raided his home in Aba, Abia state, there has been speculation that he was arrested and might have been killed.

At some point, Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia state, said Kanu was in London.

His court trial for treason has stalled and Enyinnaya Abaribe, the senator who served as Kanu’s surety when he was granted bail after spending 18 months in detention, has sought to be discharged from the obligation after his disappearance.

TheCable reports that, security sources have informed them that Kanu was ferried to the Niger Delta creeks by militants at the height of Python Dance II, from where he found his way to Ghana by sea.

He is regularly seen at Kenzo Bar and IBG saloon in Accra, disguised in fez cap and usually in company with his wife, Uchechi.

“It is easy to forget the fuel subsidy fraud, arms fund diversion, depleted excess crude account savings, depleted foreign reserves, massive unpaid debts to contractors and suppliers amidst failure to invest or even maintain our infrastructure namely railways, roads, electricity, in spite of having earned over $500 billion from oil and gas alone, during the 16 years of PDP rule,” he said.

[s]The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has lashed out at the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Ikpeazu said Kanu lies too much and was not a straight forward person, adding that he is equally worse than a chameleon.

The governor spoke while featuring in an interview with British Broadcasting Cooperation, BBC Igbo.

Ikpeazu said the elusive IPOB leader, who speaks from both sides of his mouth never consulted him or any South East governor before taking any action.

The governor insisted that Igbos do not want Nigeria to break up as they are ready to rule the country when the time comes.

According to Ikpeazu, ”Nnamdi Kanu hates South East governors, he does not want to associate with us despite the love we have for him.

[s]SIXTEEN pro Biafra groups have met in the industrial town of Nnewi, the home town of the late Biafra leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, saying the only restructuring they would accept in Nigeria would be the recognition of the country’s six geo-political zones as federating units.

Among the groups that met were the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Eastern Peoples’ Congress (EPC), Biafra United Liberation Council (BULCO), Joint Revolutionary Council of Biafra (JRCB), Igbo Hebrew Cultural Restoration and Biafra Actualization and Defence Squad. Others were Biafra Revolutionary Organization (BRO), Biafra Liberation Crusade (BLC), Salvation Peoples of Biafra, Ekwenche Organization, Biafra Peace Corps, BILLIE Human Rights Initiatives and Igbozurume Organization. Biafrans in Diaspora were also represented, while the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, was represented by its liaison Officer. At the meeting, the groups deliberated extensively on the issue of alleged disunity among them which, they noted, was militating against the actualization of Biafra. Comrade Felix Obioha and Engr. Amadi Innocent, who described the meeting as the first of its kind, advised the various groups to work together for the purpose of Biafra actualization and restoration.

According to them, all pro Biafra groups should maintain their individual status, name and internal running of their affairs, but should jointly as one body, execute all national and international engagements, programmes and commitments to Biafra, including its diplomatic affairs. They rejected the proposals for states as federating units of Nigeria as a part of Nigeria restructuring, saying such arrangement was totally against the wishes and desires of the people of Biafra.

They said: “We are reaffirming our total commitment for Biafra actualization and restoration and we wish to state that the only Nigeria restructuring that will be acceptable to us is recognizing the six geopolitical regions as a federating units using the 1963 constitution as a template.

All state owned tertiary institutions (with the exception of BSU) just declared indefinite strike over the intolerable suffering as a result of nonpayment of salaries and the fool is there chasing shadows.

Even BSU has been shut down over last week's protest, with the fool asking students who protested the authorities disallowing them to sit for exams over nonpayment of school fees, to go sought their fees over two weeks. Benue workforce is predominantly civil servants. You don't pay salaries yet you want students to pay fees. Where does he want them to raise the monies- prostitution and selling of kidneys?

It's still surprising that as a retired general,he hasn't gotten his documents to clear his name ready,in both hardcopy and soft copy backed up online for access even in the middle of the night and he still "has to go home" according to him.
No wonder they are never prepared for anything. I suspect that he has no strong evidence to establish his innocence. To be on the safe side,EFCC better hold him well well like Col. Dasuki before he escapes like Alhaji Maina.
