Only in the North , a poor igbo business man can't even construct such for his people |
This government is worst off in propagating what they are not doing than the previous guys ......posterity will judge all of them .. |
Most of the roads that they claimed to have constructed or constructing are nowhere to be found |
Motorists groan over deplorable condition of Enugu/ Onitsha Expressway Kenechukwu Ofomah Motorists plying the Awka-Onitsha axis of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway have bemoaned the inability of the Federal Government to fix the road despite countless promises. The people voiced out their anger and frustration over the deplorable condition of the road when ABS visited today. With very bad spots along the Umuokpu, Igbariam and Umunya axis of the road, a journey from Awka to Onitsha using the route which according to the commuters, initially takes about 40 minutes, now takes about two hours to complete. During the visit, pockets of gully were also observed developing at some spots, while one lane along some axis of the dual carriageway cannot be accessed by motorists due to very dangerous portholes. What looked like palliative work along some axis of the expressway have been completely abandoned as there was no contractor nor functional working equipment on site.

PDP challenges Buhari to name his campaign donors thecable.ng Mar 31, 2018 4:35 PM The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to reveal source of his campaign funds. In a statement on Saturday, Kola Ologbondiyan, spokesman of the PDP, said Buhari has no moral to fight corruption because he is a “beneficiary of the corruption freebies.” Ologbondiyan said Buhari ought to have known that the resources deployed in the 2015 election for him were “proceeds of corrupt activities” of known All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and leaders. “We challenge Buhari to make open the sources of fund available to his campaign in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 race as well as the names of the donors,” the statement read. “We are particularly interested in the fund allegedly provided by a south-south governor for the 2011 presidential election as well as how the cost of litigation was paid by then Buhari campaign. “President Buhari and his party leaders have huge confessions to make on how they raked in state stolen resources to prosecute elections of 2015. If the federal government and the APC are serious about fighting corruption and not just out to persecute PDP members, they should have began with the probe into the source of the billions of naira used for President Buhari’s 2015 presidential campaigns, particularly in the face of allegations that the fund was looted from treasuries of various APC states. “The PDP ask can president Buhari in all honesty claim ignorance of reports in the open media that a South-south governor looted several billions from his state accounts and diverted the sums into Buhari’s 2015 campaigns? “Can the presidency and the APC inform Nigerians what steps the federal government has taken to investigate this allegation, which has been in public domain and to clarify their roles as beneficiaries of the alleged looted funds?” The PDP spokesman said the president should tell Nigerians what he has done regarding the alleged stealing of N1.1 trillion worth of crude oil under his watch as minister of petroleum. “The presidency should tell Nigerians what has been done to recover the stolen N18 billion internally displaced persons (IDPs) intervention fund and the N10 billion National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) fund alleged to have been stolen from the treasury single account (TSA) by APC officials and presidency cabal,” it read. “The Buhari presidency must immediately explain why it has been providing cover for the cabinet minister reported to have bought a property worth N280 million in Abuja from corrupt enrichment. “How can a President who enjoys the company of perjurer, looters and is never aware of the activities of corrupt people around him, fight the menace of corruption?” Ologbondiyan described Buhari’s presidency as “stark pretentiously sanctimonious.” |

Ghana Ranks 1st, Nigeria 5th In World Manhood Ranking - WuzupNigeria A graph has revealed the average size of a man’s erect penis from all over the world and Africa takes the top spot. Men from Ghana have the world’s largest joysticks, while Nigerian comes 5th according to the latest ranking. South African men are ranked at number 10. It appears countries such as Asian countries such as India, Thailand and South Korea are not gifted in that department as they are sitting at the bottom of the table

Security: Union Bank Donates Vehicle To Anambra Govt 07 MARCH 2018 WRITTEN BY KENECHUKWU OFOMAH Union Bank of Nigeria Plc has donated a brand new pick-up truck to Anambra State Government to support its security initiative. The vehicle was presented by the Bank's Executive Director in charge of SouthEast, SouthSouth and Southwest, Mrs Rosemary Etim on behalf of the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr Emeka Emeuwa. Handing over the keys to the vehicle, Mrs Etim explained that the donation was their contribution to the Governor's efforts at making the state safe for all its inhabitants. Congratulating the Governor on his resounding re-election victory and the good governance he has entrenched in the state, Mrs Etim, assured that the donation marks the beginning of greater partnerships between the State and the Bank towards improving the lot of the people. Responding, Governor Obiano thanked the Bank for the vehicle which he noted, will go a long way in strengthening the security arrangement already in place in the state. The Governor described security as a capital intensive project that requires sustained support and appealed to the Bank to key into the security trust fund that the state will be launching soon and also support the state through other areas of corporate social responsibilities.

ZUMA: AS SOUTH AFRICA SHAMED NIGERIA YET AGAIN... Jacob Zuma, the embattled President of South Africa, has resigned. But that is not the news. I carefully followed the events that led to Jacob Zuma's exit and the whole thing lasted less than FIVE days. Again, that is not news. But note these: * In the build-up to Zuma's exit, no one played the ETHNIC card. His place of birth in South Africa did NOT matter. * Again, RELIGION was not an issue. Nobody even remembered he bore a Christian name. * The party was more interested in saving its NAME and LEGACY, than saving Zuma. * Zuma did not deploy police and army to seal off the venue of the ANC meeting and teargas his party members. * There was no rented crowd at the ANC secretariat singing Zuma's praise and trolling Cyril Ramaphosa. * It was NOT even ANC that reiterated the supremacy of the party, it was Zuma himself. Politics is played everywhere. It can be fun and interesting. But is it played FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE SOCIETY. IT IS TO IMPROVE THE HUMAN CONDITION. But here, ours is for the self, our family and cronies and people of our ethnic and religious backgrounds. IN NIGERIA, IF A PRESIDENT GRABS THE GUN OF HIS POLICE ORDERLY AND SHOOTS A CITIZEN, or DOES ANY VISIBLY DESECRATING ACT SOME OF US WILL STILL DEFEND HIM. Were it to be Nigeria, Zuma would not leave office. Never. He and his supporters could throw up all sorts of mundane excuses to remain in office. ** Do you now see why Toyota, Mazda, Daimler Chrysler, BMW, Volkswagen and so on all have Assembly plants in South Africa? ** Do you now see why they generate almost 40,000 megawatts and we are calling thanksgiving service for 7,000 megawatts? ** Do you now see why they successfully hosted the World Cup? ** Do you know why our citizens rush there? South Africa has again showed that it is NOT about the black man. We are not intellectually inferior to the white man. Something is just fundamentally wrong with Nigeria and its LEADERSHIP MANAGEMENT. And that thing is INSTITUTIONS. Both at governmental and non-governmental levels. As long as we produce LEADERS that we MAKE STRONGER than our INSTITUTIONS, we will NEVER make progress! No be curse... |
