We can’t beat the possibility that we can want a relationship with someone who isn’t ready for a relationship or doesn’t know what love feels like, yet. I know society has made some people think they can’t go for the man they find attractive. But if you have summoned that courage to talk to him about how you feel, that’s great! Unfortunately, if the feeling isn’t mutual, there will be signs he doesn’t want a relationship with you. Unless you have learnt the secrets in His Secret Obsession which holds the key to winning a man’s love, attention, and total devotion for life. These signs may be seen in actions or words. If he doesn’t want a relationship with you, he can’t fake it. His subconscious self will play out his feelings automatically when you text him, visit him, or touch him. But if you can’t see that coming through, Passion Phrases teaches the obsession switch used to shut off all his excuses and makes him dive in headfirst to your relationship. Let's go! 1. He doesn’t lock eyes with you https://mycharacterboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/signs.jpg When you lock eyes with someone, it could show that you have strong feelings or attraction towards the person. It has the power to convey deep emotions. According to a study conducted by Joan Kellerman and her research team, eye contact intensifies feelings that are meaningful. One of the signs he doesn’t want a relationship with you is as simple as merely avoiding eye contact. Although people can be shy at their first relationship or date to the extent of avoiding eye contact, later on, they yearn to look into their eyes. If he doesn’t lock eyes with you when you talk with him, that could be a simple, yet powerful sign that shows he isn’t into you, yet. 2. He doesn't call or text you often https://mycharacterboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/calling.jpg If you are always the one to say ‘Hi’ on whatsapp or ‘Hello’ on Messenger, there’s a high chance that he isn’t into you. If he was, he would find the slightest chance to DM you or call to say ‘Hi’. To build a relationship, two-way communication is vital. If you are finding communication difficult, it is a sign he doesn’t want a relationship with you. This means, leaving communication for one side of the party is a relationship bound to crash – that’s if there is an existing relationship. 3. He rarely touches you https://mycharacterboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/holding-hands.jpg The human touch can be very stimulating. According to a study, “studies show that a simple touch can trigger the release of oxytocin, aka ‘the love hormone.’ Touching your loved one in a distinct way is one of the ways you can express love. Though it might sound off, if he doesn’t stretch out his hands to feel your skin or receive your touch while he talks about work or sports, then that’s a sign he doesn’t want a relationship with you. Someone who’s in love would always yearn to feel his lover. Ohhkkaayy guys... There's 3 more points I haven't listed out. I don't want to crowd here with text. Please if you have found these few points interesting, click on the link below to continue reading on my blog https://mycharacterboard.com/signs-he-doesnt-want-a-relationship-with-you/ If you have any questions or comments, I'll love to hear them. Thank you ❤️ |
Falling in love means different things for different people. This is because we all have different circumstances surrounding us which in turns, could have an effect in determining our fate (if we let it). For some people, falling in love could mean heartaches and lack of concentration. While on the other hand, people celebrate peace, joy, and satisfaction from falling in love. So what exactly does falling in love feel like? Well, the answer to this question is subjective. I have gathered a wide array of answers from my friends through a survey I did on my WhatsApp status. There, they shared their ideology about what falling in love feels like to them. You can have a full read about their opinions on my blog https://mycharacterboard.com/6-ways-to-know-what-falling-in-love-feels-like/ PS: The actual names of the people have been changed to protect their privacy. And they agreed to the consent of publishing their opinions. 1. Falling in love feels like a force of attraction For Janet, falling in love feels like a force of attraction. The 24-year-old university student went on to further write that the feeling is almost overwhelming and could be really hard to banish. On a bid to make her further explain, she said, “For me, I believe in love at first sight. There is always a force of attraction when you see someone your soul connects with on a higher level.” (Read more about Janet's opinion on the blog) 2. You show too much care and concern John, a medical doctor in his early thirties explains in his answer to the question, what falling in love feels like; you show too much care and concern. According to John, it might be hard to digest the definition of what love feels like because he is a medical doctor. “Of course it should be natural for all medical doctors to care and show concern towards people. But believe me, this is different,” added John. (Read more about John's story on the blog) 3. Falling in love gives heartache When it comes to people like Cynthia, falling in love doesn’t always turn out a bed of roses. “Falling in love gives heartache,” she said. She further explained that when falling in love with someone, there is risk of rejection which you may not quite handle well – only a few people end up with the people that love them as much as they do. (Read more about Cynthia's story on the blog) You can read the full story and more about the people's experiences and opinions they have shared on the blog by clicking on this link. https://mycharacterboard.com/6-ways-to-know-what-falling-in-love-feels-like/

Sometimes, it is hard to show gratitude. And sometimes, we don’t have the patience and steps to follow to keep being grateful. But here are some ways you can learn how to show gratitude effectively. 1. Always use the words “please” and “thank you” “Please” and “thank you” are kind words you can use to show gratitude. When you need someone’s help, you should use the word “please” to show that you are making a polite request. You say “thank you” after receiving help or assistance from someone as an expression of gratitude for what the person has done. This way, you can win the hearts of many to keep on helping you out with things. 2. Look towards the positive side To be frank with you, if you set your mind towards finding faults and reasons not to be grateful, you’ll see them. On the contrary, why not channel that effort towards finding reasons to be grateful? 3. Give out a gift Giving out a gift to someone who has rendered you help in the past is a good way to show gratitude. Even if you can’t buy an item, you can render services. You should keep in mind that you are not returning a favor, instead, you are showing gratitude. 4. Show genuine interest and support You can show gratitude to someone by showing interest in what they love and supporting them at it. You can show gratitude to a friend or someone who has done something for you by supporting the person in what he loves. There seems to be alot more to talk about. But you can visit the blog to get more ideas on how to show gratitude, how to get the gratitude attitude, know how to get the gratitude attitude, and more. https://mycharacterboard.com/gratitude-is-the-attitude/#htoc-how-to-show-gratitude

Living a self-fulfilling life starts with, first, being content with yourself and everything you have. I know that there’s always an excitement to have something new and shiny, but If you don’t know how to be content with yourself and what you have now, there’s every tendency that focusing on yourself will be hard in the long run. Life becomes enjoyable when you learn how to be content with yourself — when you accept who you are, care for yourself, and be grateful for what you have now. But there are some things that makes you not to be contented and they are: 1. You are in the wrong competition Competing with someone that’s miles ahead of you is suicide. You need to pick a fight you can win. You can’t have a monthly income of 500 dollars and compete with someone with a monthly income of 5,000 dollars, over who wears designer outfits and puts on costly ornaments. In such a competition, you’re bound to crash like a plane shot out from the sky. 2. You compare Do you compare smartphones? Clothing? Or lipstick? What on earth can we not compare? We even compare planets (that’s fair enough). The problem is not in the comparison (because we need to compare to make our decisions) but in the motive of the comparison. One way you never come to be contented with what you have is because you are in the comparison game. You compare what you have to what your friend or neighbor has. 3. You lack focus One thing that can make you not be content with what you have is your lack of focus. People with shiny object syndrome find focusing on a single goal hard. They tend to jump from one shiny goal to another. If you find yourself longing for new goals or material possessions when you aren’t done with what you have, it is a sign that you are not content with what you have. Can't write 'em all here please take your time to check out the well-researched article I've written about how to be content with yourself. It contains infographics, contentment on different aspects of life, and more.Check it out here: https://mycharacterboard.com/how-to-be-content-with-yourself/

Symptoms for anger issues, when spotted early, can help arrest any future outburst. Anger is said to be a strong feeling of displeasure or hostility towards someone or something with an urge to hurt. A lot of people who walk the streets are like a balloon pumped with water waiting to be pricked on. Chipping in a wrong phrase while having a conversation with someone who has anger issues is like pricking open that ballon pumped with water. And boom! That water splashes all over you. HOW TO GET RID OF ANGER ISSUES 1. Recognising triggers The right way to go when recognizing symptoms for anger issues is first, recognizing anger triggers. Have you ever had a word or phrase that would always make you flare up when someone says it to you? Or you don’t stand the chance of having someone violate your personal space without you granting permission? Perhaps you can’t stand the sight of injustice or have someone, even your boss, speak to you in an abusive language? Few triggers are: Abusive words Disturbing media content Increase in stress level Lack of understanding 2. Recognise anger symptoms There are slight changes in a person’s attitude, physical movements, or character manifestations that can show the symptoms for anger issues. These symptoms help flash a flood of light over an expected outcome. Symptoms for anger issues can manifest physically, and also emotionally. These symptoms are what you should expect to see after you go past the trigger. Few symptoms are: Stammering (especially, if you are not a stammerer naturally) Change in breathing – high breathing Sweating, mostly on palms Lack of motivation for the task at hand Feeling guilty and blaming yourself Depressed Please check out the more detailed and we'll researched article on my blog now: https://mycharacterboard.com/symptoms-for-anger-issues/

Research has been going on for years about smartphone effects on users. Well, our lives seem to be tied around this cute little digital rectangular box called ‘smartphone’. In this era, living without a smartphone for a minute is suicide. That, of course, is the chief effect it has on us. But right now, I am going to tell you 5 ways your smartphone has effects on you. 1. Through mental health apps Everyone has a personality trait they want to work on, probably, change entirely. It could be that you get angry quickly and you are unable to take control of yourself. It could also be that you are always pessimistic about life, and you want to change that. There are tons of apps in app stores that are built to help us through changing any personality trait we do not like in us. Apps like; I see myself, notOK, Mood kit, Mindshift, etc are good mental health apps worth mentioning. But are all mental health apps good enough for us? On the flip side, the problem sometimes with some mental health apps is that when you keep on using them, they keep making you feel that you are depressive. They, in turn, make you dependable on them. 2. Mood swings while using social media Regular happy people can have mood swings too. Though you have been taught that mood swings are usually associated with the Melancholy temperament. But the tables are turning fast with the advent of social media. When you start thinking that your friend has gotten that dream job of hers, while you’re still stuck being a housewife, it changes your mood and hits you with the Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) syndrome. When you scroll through your newsfeed and see statuses of a friend posting pictures of his newly purchased Mercedes-AMG One, it breaks your heart that it wasn’t you who had it first. 3. Social Life While our smartphones have helped us tremendously in reaching out to friends and family members who are far and near, they can also make us feel doing so is a better option. Now, most people prefer remote jobs they can do from the comfort of their bed with just a few swipes on their smartphones. Of course, who wouldn’t like working from under the blanket while sipping a cup of coffee on a cold day? As gleeful as it sounds, we are losing the focus to realize that we are turning into introverts and may never have the guts to look someone in the eye again. I have written a more detailed article about this on my blog. Plus how you can take back control and be in charge of your life. Check it out here https://mycharacterboard.com/smartphone-effects/

CHOICES "Sweetie, please put down the gun," said Mum almost in a trembling state. "Shoot this criminal Jude!" Dad cried from a suppressed position. I stood there in my pajamas torn between choices. I held steady my trembling hands and stiffened my fingers as I held the pistol pointed at the masked man. The pistol slided towards me during dad's short fight with the masked man who finally triumphed. In a split second, the masked man dashed towards me. I was terrified. Then a loud sound blasted through, swinging me aback. In a moment, I realised the masked man dipping in his pool of blood. I checked the masked man to see if he was truly wounded. I felt the tension in the air. It made me feel powerful like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie "Commando". I wanted to do this again — to feel like a hero. I looked at my palms, they were stained with blood. But I was only seven years old. Now here I am, being 30 years old and siting in jail. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and listened to my Mum 23 years ago. The very moment I squeezed the trigger I was changed. I felt a switch turned on in me. I wanted more of that raw action but I had no guidance. Only people who pointed me to the wrong direction. ©️Ben Danor TAKE AWAY The choices you make today creates ripple effects for your reality tomorrow! |
