MelesZenawi: Sun doesn't play ethnic card. There reports are standard unlike Tribune, punch and the rest of them..
Punch Polarises the space with fake news which upon verification is totally false likewise nation's newspaper. There is no difference between them. Have you seen the level of sensationalism in a front page caption of sunnewspapar ( for instance)only to open it and find garbage. Pls. Nigeria is highly.polarised so each and everyone of us have our views and know where it may be strengthened. Like I said there all thesame. |

MelesZenawi: Others are sound in their submission.
The assessment was clearly without bias. Absolutely false. Sun newspaper for instance is as guilty as projecting the south east just as Tribune or punch in the South west. AIT is sympathetic to pdp just as channels is to Apc. Don't tell me trash. They all have their followers depending on where your sentiments lie. |

NaijaRoyalty: The government must make it a criminal offence should any employer refuses to pay workers at the end of the month during this lockdown .
But this is Nigeria sha Government cannot do anything about a private company that hasn't made profit and cannot pay salaries. Even abroad government is trying to support private small businesses so that they don't lay off staff. |
Politics › Re: Caverton Helicopters VS Wike: Why Many Businesses Prefer Lagos by bender79: 7:44pm On Apr 09, 2020 |
9jatriot: Port Harcourt as well as Warri used to be the darling state of many big and small oil and gas companies just a few years ago, but that is no longer the case because of similar situation as the one orchestrated by Wike in grounding the operations of Caverton Helicopters.
In spite of the multiple taxation in Lagos, the hold up, the many peculiar challenges in Lagos, many companies will rather have their businesses located in Lagos perceived to be the land of the "godfather" than in these places where their operation takes place.
Even indigenes of some of these places will rather leave their families in Lagos as they continue to work in locations like PH.
Caverton Helicopters has no choice because of their operation but to continue to operate in Port Harcourt anyway since they have no choice, but look at the ripple effect, many investors will remember this in future and locate their businesses in states where the state governor cannot just come and close their shop.
Those pilots presently under arrest pay the pensonal income tax to Rivers state, which means for every company that could have located their businesses in Rivers state but did not, that is an IGR lost and you wonder why our states are not innovative. They will never get it because their heads are fixated on pdp and apc, Biafra and Nigeria and Wike happens to be their reigning hatchetman. |

Spiritualism: Press Release
APC Blasts Chidoka for Criticising COVID19 Taskforce
Our attention has been drawn to the irresponsible utterances attributed to the former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka in which he called for the dissolution of the Presidential Taskforce for the Control of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
In a statement released to newsmen in Enugu by the National Publicity Secretary of APC Mandate Defenders, Mr. Ifeanyi Emeka, the group said Mr. Chidoka is a yesterday's man whose ideas have no relevance with the reality of the moment, saying President Muhammadu Buhari should ignore him because he has nothing to offer the nation besides criticism.
The Presidential Taskforce is too busy to be distracted by Chidoka, a man who has no other address besides petty politics.
When Chidoka's contemporaries are busy making donations in the ongoing fight against COVID-19 so as to help Nigerians, the failed former minister is busy finding faults with what he knows nothing about.
For goodness sake, is it the time to find faults with the government?
Must everything be politicised in Nigeria?
In a saner climes, the likes of Chidoka are supposed to be languishing in jail for maladministration over his irresponsible management of both the Federal Road Safety Corps and the Ministry of Aviation.
Mr. Chidoka should contend himself with the controversies that surrounded his tenure in office and stop his irresponsible media brags or shows.
While we commend the COVID-19 Taskforce for the great works they are doing, we also call on Nigerians to support the taskforce by obeying their directives among other things.
Finally, we urge Nigerians to stay safe and maintain their basic hygiene as we all fight to contain the spread of the virus.
Signed:
Mr. Ifeanyi Emeka, National Publicity Secretary, APC Mandate Defenders Ifeanyi Emeka has collected and so he doesn't recognize his fellow igbo brother anymore |
