We need to understand the principle that these Global Stock Apps are operating on. Just like a local stockbroker once you buy the stock, all your matter are out of their hands. If you have bought stock your shares are with an International Stockbroker or if Nigerian stock (a local big stockbroker), subsequent communication/dividend will come from the company you have bought shares from, the only thing that connects you and these APP is dividend coming to you wallet and mind you, the APPS can decide to move their office to Ghana or any other Country (and business with continue as before), it does not affect you as long as your shares have been bought ,shares just like Nigeria where your shares resides with CSCS if anything happens or you dont like your broker, there is a way CSCS will transfer your shares to a new stockbroker.

Above is the simplest explanation I can give. I am not a spoke person for any app. If you are in double write to your target organisation and you will get a good response.

If you are in the US or UK, you can buy the S&P500 index fund via Vanguard. It's the cheapest available.

If in Nigeria, I am not sure you can access Vanguard indexes but Trove and Chaka do have S&P500 ETF (SPY) or the Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 ETF (QQQ) which track the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ 100 indexes respectively.
