You are suppose to upload, everything including the image file, using thesame folder name it bears offline e.g if the path is: folder_name/image.jpg, you are therfore expected to create the folder (folder_name) on the server online, then copy the image.jpg file into it, but according to experience this method may be a set back i.e using the (file mange) on you cpanel when you have alot like 50 files to publish or upload.

I rather advice you define or open the site with MS Frontpage and click the File > Publish > (and type the web adress) e.g http://www.bengallery.net then click OK note: your username and password will be required. Then watch FrontPage do the publishing for you.

The Microsoft Certification you stated, according to Microsoft will expire next year (2009 probably March) and for where you can write the Exam I just put in for one at New Horizone at Ikeja, and the price was N13,500.

If am to advice you, I think you should go for MCTS (Microsoft Certify Technology Specialist), I just passed one of the modules and I have one more to write probably next year, MCTS is based on Microsoft New .NET Technology and was introduce in the years 2005. MCTS can be taking as as MCTS (Web Developer, Windows Developer or Distributed Application Developer).

The IT business is very wide, and you must understand that any area you specialised in their is a market for you, if only you are very good in it. Now as an IT consultant, when ever we meet a new IT lovers like you, my advice is always what do you like to do? do you like GRAPHICS (cartoon, animations etc.) CODE (Programming Windows, Web, Distributed app.) RDMS (Databse Design, Admin) NETWORKING etc. if you are still confuse, then the next questing what is your discipline/Qualification (Profession, are you a Statistic graduate or Work as an Enginneer etc.) Please let's here form you. Because this will give us a better chance to suggest which area you may easily belong.

Acually I am happy that you've made a Good choice, as a Statistic graduate DBMS/Networking is'nt bad but my advice is that in IT you must love what you are going first and develope yourself, then the pay will come.

My Brother that ask this question im once like you, and i once went through the problem of using apache and dreamweaver to build PHP site.

Here is my advice,

1. although Dreamweaver can be use to build PHP site using the Sever Behaious
2. and other, and people often say tha apache is best for PHP.

But i am telling dont settle for this two untill you try other option, my tested solutions.

1. If you are using Windows Operating system 98, 2000, or XP (pls Use the Microsoft IIS webserver), no need for the complex configurations of Apache.

2. Please avoid using the Dreamwever Server Behaviours, it will make code more difficult to manager. i.e it is better you learn PHP, i mean "understand and write your code".

my first love is ASP (simplicity, and flexibility in programming structure)

my second is PHP (I use this because most of my existing client already purchase a Linux hosting with PHP support only)

my third is ASP.NET 2.0 (Microsoft proof this to be a new and the most powerful tools out there, from exprience I think this tool is very differend from the above mentioned)

I dont know how Microsoft have been about to dominat the IT market for a very long time, and yet the future still seam bright with the .NET platform I see a future your this tools, i.e it is nothing like PHP, ASP, JSP because i use this three(3) also, and i must confess the future is bright for Microsoft.

And I dont know what we Nigerians are doing, the Indias are waxing strong, instead of coming together as a Nigerian we still operate the IT business as a cheap stuff, please what do yo think about this.
