Am writing this post to all students out there struggling how to read their texts effectively and quickly, tho I was once that kind of a student till I made researches and got this tip that has being making me singing.

Oya here it is:

Don’t read ur text from front to back (aka, READ BACKWARDS)
Reading a textbook chapter front to back ensures that you will waste time.
I know it’s counter-intuitive to not read a book front to back, but don’t do it. Mystery novels stink when you read the back first, as do good thriller movies. If you read the last page of a Sherlock Holmes novel before you read the story, it’ll be lame. If you know Bruce Willis is dead, don’t watch the 6th Sense.
But textbooks are rarely building to a suspenseful twist at the end. I promise. I’ve read a lot. They don’t come with surprise endings. “And then, Abraham Lincoln dodged the bullet!” Yep, that’s never going to be in a textbook.
Try reading your textbook chapter in this order:

1. Go to the questions at the end first . Read them, answer them to the best of your ability, and then begin your actual reading strategies. This will sort of “prime the engine” of retention.

2. Next, read the final summary of the chapter. This will give you a general background as to the Big Ideas in the chapter.

3. Third, look at the headings and subdivision of the chapter.

4. Fourth, read the chapter introduction.

From that point you can then work through the chapter from front to back. By taking this out-of-order strategy, you are focusing not on the chronological order, but rather connecting the ideas found in the chapter together. This is infinitely more important than reading things in the order they were written.

It really shameful how some people don't tend to change and make amendments on their mistakes when a new beginning has given a chance.
It was last night, after coming back from church, me and all my siblings were just celebrating and filled with the joy of the new year, we all stayed up till around 3am. Tho my parents traveled to the village for the new year and intend coming back next week. So after everything, I was still not feeling like going to bed, so I stayed up alone till 4am while watching TV. And I was woke up by my sis around 7am saying they have robbed my house again while we were all asleep -Yeah, this is the second time. I got to the parlor and our newly 49" plasma TV my pops man just bought for 200k after the first one was stolen and my elder bro small phone has gone. And I was like Ewoooooo!! TV I just leave not more than 3hrs ago, see me see wahala for this new year, lol, wasn't funny tho.. It wasn't painful as it happened the first time tho, the tv then was having little fault and at least we thought God just wanted to bless us the kids, since dad gonna get a new one now, but mom's phone was taken too and her line was still going through till some few days ago. It really a thing of shame for us experiencing this twice. I know very well they used jazz, yes I say JAZZ! cause the way they brutal my door with hammer and other tools eh, and we heard no sound, a German door for that matter.
I know my dad is seriously in thoughts now. Please I need advices on how we can make this stop, or any idea that can make us get the crude thieves..
