someone just finished asking which religion God is going to judge the world and which religion is better and the next minute the religions responded with the same arguments over and over. mine is greater and my God is bigger.
so do you now blame the atheists for seeing religion as the greatest joke of the century and seriously speaking when you look at the religious charade in nairaland you can not help but agree with the atheists.

we often return to the school of life on earth, or some other physical arena, to continue our spiritual education.

These records are stored on the Causal Plane. They can be viewed as easily as you would visit a library on the Physical Plane, as long as you are detached enough to handle the information

You first say that people here only want to argue about ahose religion or god is better
Yet, you go on to give growth techniques with the holy spirit. Your shallow religious mind wont tell you that you are indirectly saying that your religion is true and it is the best option
most of those techniques still comes from the holy books of those arguing about whose religion is better. they are busy arguing while within their Holy books are techniques that can enable them experience what unites us all. that is what i was trying to point out and not that my religion is the best option.
i was seriously hoping that a christian will try the christian technique and a moslem will try the one pertaining to his own religion. these techniques helps to open the spiritual eyes of whoever practices them. and once your spiritual eyes are open the illusions about truth are cleared and the arguments dies a natural death. no amount of argument will give a soul an iota of truth but just a grain of spiritual experience brings out the nature of love in that soul.

and moreover any one who has had spiritual experiences will not even bother about arguing with atheists about whether God exists or not and of course will not judge them either and will let them be. because he or she knows that you can not prove the existence of God to another soul. you can only express the essence of God through the love for all life that flows through you.

i seriously wish the day will come in Nairaland Religion section when people will start posting ways we can live a better life, how they have faced trials and mastered the challenges that life presented, how they have learnt vital lessons from life experiences so that others can learn from them, instead they waste their precious time arguing about whose religion is better and whose God is bigger.

i set up a thread on practical spirituality and put up techniques that can enable one experience the Holy Spirit and become a better person and invited others to share their own techniques and no one even bothered and so i concluded that many people come here not looking for an avenue for growth for they have already stopped growing. they are only looking for avenue for argument and how to lord it over another person.

@ Benodic, so you mean christianity is incomplete but they don't serve a dumb God! I trust if they have no answer, their God must have! Or if they can't answer which other religion can answer this? Expecting more answers
their God is encased in their Holy Book. so if they can not understand what is written in their Holy Book there is no other way they can get answers. and of course they have all the answers and have no interest in what any other religion has to say. so why should i bother, after all you invited only bible scholars to give their input.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Injustice On Religion Section Of Nairaland by benodic: 11:02am On Aug 26, 2013
i am not surprised with the turn of events. i live with northern Moslem and i do not discuss religion in any form with them and that is how i have maintained harmony with them. that is what drove me to the internet to see where i can interact freely with people from other religions and i have thoroughly enjoyed myself in nairaland religion section since i arrived here.

i am one of those that celebrated when the Islam section was created and they left us alone. the same intolerance Moslem show in real life is also exhibited even in the internet. for me it is good riddance. even if a sub-section for Christianity is created in order to bring equality i would still feel free to post there because i know that Christians are more tolerant.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Heaven A Geographical Or Spiritual Location? by benodic: 10:36am On Aug 26, 2013
Christianity does not have the complete answers to those questions. what you will get is different versions of the truth from different sects of Christianity. so have fun with them.
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheist Basics..... by benodic: 10:31am On Aug 26, 2013
The atheist challenge to religious doctrines and believes is a very welcome development which any right thinking theists will welcome with open arms.
the opportunity to re-examine one's believes with particular emphasis on how it affects the next person who does not share that believe is of paramount importance. for me i have learnt a lot from atheists and i have a lot of respect for them for it is not easy in our present society to stand on the other side of the fence and look squarely at people who are ready to kill you for what you stand for and tell them that you do not believe in their Doctrine.

you may be surprised that it is really not so difficult to find God. it can be as simple as asking God to reveal itself to you. That you would like to Know if It exists or not. just ask.
Christianity Etc › Re: How To Bridge Religious Divide by benodic: 7:31pm On Aug 24, 2013
division comes when the God of a religion resides in a book and not in the hearts of its followers.
what is written in a book is followed blindly and no questions asked even if it leads to negative actions it is okay so far it is done in the name of their God.

if instead you try to find God within your heart where It is residing and Its true quality is love and love alone and live your life based only on this love you can imagine what the world would be like.

By choosing different bodies and different life experiences, Soul learns to view life from all sides. Living as male or female, as black or white, as rich or poor, for example, soul tests and purifies Itself

hey benodic! thanks for opening this thread. Well about practical spirituality, l thought of this gist on human capabilities and all. It came up after reading some stuff on this page www.2045.com. my question is that since some parts of the human brain and the body corresponds to some location in the spritual planes, is for instance a soul-realised person's brain more active than the others? That is will the active portion of the persons brain be active than average? you know they the average man uses just 2% of the brain.
the answer is yes. as a soul grows spiritually, the vibrations of all the bodies it wears increases and this of course impacts on the physical body which resonates in kind. all the faculties of an awakened soul comes alive and this includes the faculties in the lower bodies including the physical body of course.

Reincarnation provides an explanation for various elements of our personality. Why does a young child show great musical talent when his parents have none? The reason could be that these talents were developed in a previous life and a subtle memory persists.

for many, this in-between time is heaven. The Astral Plane for, example, has sections which resemble all of the heavens described in the major religious traditions. You might find Saint Peter and the pearly gates, or the happy hunting grounds, or even visit the palace of Zeus or Jupiter. on the Astral Plane you find what you expect, what you hope for , or what your fear.

Soul may stay on these other planes for a day, a thousand years, or more. This is dependent on soul's mission, its karmic obligation, and its level of spiritual unfoldment.

welcome to the path of love brother alexleo. that is all i ever wanted to see in anybody be you a christian, atheist, pagan or any other religious group.
the path of love knows no boundaries and no divisions and is what really unifies all religions and idealogies. all religions at its core are actually leading to the path of love which is the narrow way and the few who find it have found the way to God.
for God is love and love is God and all souls exist because of God's love for us.
give love to all life and you will never lose your way.
