There's no salvaging anything again. They lost there ways . Peter Obi returning to the PDP is the best move. They said he wasn't capable. He left and turned a mushroom party to get 6 million votes, won Lagos, Abuja. Got 7 senators, over 25 house of representatives, got a governor of a state that had underperformed for years. Labour party is finished.

Labour party esp the 'illegal' national chairman Julius Abure really scored an own goal with their handling of Peter Obi!

Just like a politician was quoted as saying during one of the labour party crisis,Abure is small minded just like most of the mushroom parties!
Obi did not only elevate LP with those enormous votes but also took them to the apex of political conversations!


The hierarchy should have consolidated on this huge success in 2023 by remolding the party to a better alternative and as a third force by coming out stronger and challenging in 2027 but their small mindedness and greed mindset didn't allow them see the bigger picture!

Now they may likely lose Obi to the PDP and LP will most definitely return to their default position of 10k plus votes in the presidential election!

The leadership in LP can however salvage the situation before it's too late by sacking themselves from office and doing a proper and transparent national LP convention!

I was travelling to a nearby state and this driver was over speeding.I complained about it of which the driver ignored my complaints with an arrogant smile!
The worst part was the chilling silence of the other passengers as if they were under a spell!
I kept insisting and fortunately,some passengers joined me in cautioning the driver who hesitantly obeyed!
Five minutes later,a bus that had earlier overtaken us was had a head on collision with another transport bus!

As much as we advocate that the road safety agencies carry out their duties properly and responsibly,the passengers must their part to call out these unruly drivers because your life or that of a loved one could be at stake!
