For a state governor that pontificated about turning it's state to the Taiwan of Nigeria,I expected the educational and power sector to have been topmost on his agenda from the start of his administration!

The educational sector in Anambra state just like Taiwan would have infused a free but mandatory vocational training in it's curriculum and incorporated facilities and training in every primary & secondary school!

With the signing of the electricity bill into law,it was expected that Anambra state will actually take the lead in building a generating plant to ensure constant power supply which will align with soludo desire or mandate to turn the state to Taiwan!

Unfortunately,governance in states today is about prioritizing the rebuilding of some major roads at strategic areas in the state for optic purposes in place of funding human capital development!

It is easy for an economic team to look strong when crude oil was selling for an average of over $90 per barrel for several years and your population is ten of millions less than it is today.

Put that Obj economic team in charge when a new government comes in at a time when the country was using about 95% of its revenue to service debts, food production was hampered by relentless insecurity, fuel subsidy was costing trillions of naira per year, creditors including China were no longer willing to lend the country money etc and you will find the so-called strong OBJ economic team are not strong at all.

They were just lucky the global economic tide (mainly crude oil price) moved strongly in Nigeria's favour at the time.
