[quote author=ChyChy17 post=49783030]I don't even know why we're so bothered trying to dissuade people from this MMM thing

Leave them. Mugu wey wan fall mugu go still fall mugu no matter how much you warn the mugu so save your saliva.

We are addicted to get rich quick schemes. Sharp sharp tinz. Not a lot of Nigerians have money, if we did, we would be the ones selling National Stadium and National Theatre to ourselves via Yahoo mail. No need for oyinbo racket.

Was it not in this Nigeria, that grown ass educated people were sold one bullshit scam about relocating to Canada? After paying through their noses and countless postponements and disappointments these people (numbering almost 7000) still went to line up at the National Theatre for the plane that will take them to Canada. Their common sense didn't think to ask if the National Theatre was an airport. Their common sense didn't think to ask how 7000 people were going to all fit in one plane. They went to queue up there like lamb about to be slaughtered.

This was after people had warned that it was a scam. The people that warned were tagged 'Jealous people' 'Wicked' 'Bad belle' etc.

They waited and waited under the sun. Sweating like pigs in their aso ebi. Yes o! The scam organisers still sold aso ebi to them under the guise that they all had to be in uniform wear.

After waiting for ages, plane no show. Then the scam organisers told them the plane had a little fault but they needed to contribute money to repair the plane so the plane could come pick them up at the National Theatre. And the buffoons paid. They all brought out money to 'repair' the plane. Can you just beat that? You are still being scammed even on top the original scamming. That's some long con bullshit right there. I'm almost impressed with the scammers. They had guts mehn.

Anyway, when morning turned into evening and night was drawing near, I think it dawned on even the most stupid of them all that this was a scam. And one by one, they began the miserable journey back to their lives poorer then they were. If you go to the National Theatre, you might still find one or two stragglers, waiting for the plane to be repaired. That's how silly we can be.

So leave these MMM people alone, let them carry on MMMing. Dem no dey tell cock say day don break.

You gon learn some day.

shut up your mouth..next time you want to criticize a thing pls do research and the thing very well and the difference BTW it and other things in your memory

Nobody at the biometric venue was ever given new ID, neither was issuing of new ID presented as part of the process at all during my day..with what the head of service said this morning it means all what we passed to do biometric is not good enough(let me not say a waste)..so dear colleagues, I'm scared, what are we going to do seeing that these people are bent on frustrating our lives and stealing our salaries? we will do sit down look as always?

BREAKDOWN OF FEDERAL ALLOCATION TO THE VARIOUS STATES FOR THE MONTH OF JULY
2016 BY FAAC: Thirty-six states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, collectively smiled home in the month of July when they pocketed a whopping
#673.324billion as their share of statutory allocation and first tranche of the excess crude earnings distribution for the period.

This was revealed in a document from the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation titled: Distribution of Statutory Allocation and Excess
Crude Proceeds to the three tiers of Government in July 2016, a copy of which THISDAY got yesterday. The report showed that five of the states: Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Akwa Ibom and Kano, catapulted themselves to the two-digits wrung with each carting home between #10billion and #25billion . Leading the pack,

Rivers state got a grand total of #25,883billion which is made up of #10.138billion from 13 per cent derivation, #12.803billion from excess crude, #1.39billion from statutory allocation and another #1.5billion excess crude for local
governments in the state. Similarly,

[ Bayelsa state received #7.97billion from the 13 per cent derivation account as well as #10billion from
excess crude account. The state also had its accounts credited to the tune of #538million for its councils and another #597.7million excess crude for the same councils in the state. In total, the state smiled home with a whooping grand total of
(#19,197,410,863.92.)

In the same vein, Delta State which garnered a
total of #18.622billion, had its share broken down thus: 13 per cent derivation #6.977billion; excess crude #8.734billion; statutory allocation for local governments #1.379billion and excess crude distribution to the councils #1.531billion. According to finance ministry officials, what is being paid as proceeds of the difference between the budgeted volume short fall from a current Niger Delta situation where Nigeria is only producing about 2 million barrels of crude oil per day instead of the OPEC allocation of 2.5 barrels per day matched against excess earnings of over 70 dollars per barrel when the budgeted reference price is 35 dollars. THISDAY checks reveal that this is the first of such payments as states will continue to enjoy this windfall over the next several months. The fourth highest beneficiary and another oil producing state of the Niger Delta,

Akwa Ibom, has its breakdown as follows: statutory allocation #6.458billion, excess crude distribution #8.065billion, statutory
allocations for state councils #1.569billion while the excess crude account for councils was credited with a whopping #1.738billion. In total, the state got #17,831,804,082.85.

The only non-
oil producing state that garnered over #10billion was Kano. It got #10.776billion and was distributed as follows: statutory allocation
#2.44billion; excess crude #2.7billion, statutory allocation for its 44 councils, #2.669billion and
excess crude to same accounted for
#2.959billion.
Conversely, the FCT, Gombe, Ebonyi, Nasarawa and Ekiti States went home with the least allocations of between #673.3million and #4billion . While the document
further showed that the

FCT got its accounts credited to the tune of #673.324million,

Gombe State became richer with #4.435billion lumped into its accounts. Similarly,

Nasarawa and Ekiti States received
#4.508billion and #4.732billion respectively.
Other states which also got huge amounts from the distribution include
Ondo with #9,060,035,806.15,
Lagos state got #8,299,806,965.06,
Kaduna state got #7,654,995,396.83,
Imo state got #7,366,417,410.84,
Borno state got #7,276,602,098.96,
Niger state got #7,151,791,231.47,
Jigawa state got #7,048,660,361.35.
Copied!
chai, people are suffering and dying..the security man in my school lost his first son who fell sick of treatable ailment, he ran around to look for where borrow money to save his son but none of those who would have helped him have eve penny haven't not be paid for months, so the young man died and gone forever, this is just one case of many deaths and untold sufferings imposed on the people by insensitive and wicked government.. meanwhile, I'm sure wike, and children, wife, babes and cronies are having swell time..and will be having more swell time with this increase in allocation.. how long can this continue, how long can the greater number of workers survival be at the mercy of few politicians, how will our destinies continue to be at the magnimity of wicked leaders?
