there are more than 500 dss personnel, and other dedicated internet operatives quietly reading and monitoring whatever is said online, including whatever is said on this thread. They don't say a word most probably because they haven't been authorized to do so,or keeping their secrets secret, but definitely at the right time and appropriate place dss will speak, beginning with an apology to us, since not all of them are happy with what's happening to us 'regular course 2018 set' particularly what we are going through, having been abandoned for close to two years without direction. This is not to make us fear, but to make us be careful of what we say.

Guards are presently on training
at kaduna but are not much. Also promotion offrs are still in camp. Lagos and Bauchi respectively.
Also the issue of cadet. Hopefully Oct 2nd week. But compare to the amount they want to take before, it will be reduce cuz u guys will be mixed with upgrading offrs .
Also camp will be @Bauchi hopefully .The silence is cuz all the camp are occupied and DSS is not one to give u long notice.. If u notice, they only give 2-3days notice to report to camp. Nobody knows the date for now.. But I will advice everyone to follow the progress of those in camp. Maybe with that, u can get a better understanding on when cadet will go for camp.. But sure cadet are next in line.

Oga no vex, pls I have a question, I applied for this job and got interviewed at the age of 28, but with the delay the age has now increased... The question is if the delay continues and ones crosses 30yrs will it or will it not affect one's chances? Does one need to worry about that pls?

I have been following this thread since 3rd of Feb, 2018...The recruitment for CO's was canceled by the then acting DG. You only hope for a new recruitment...

It's not just about putting your eggs in one basket, it's more than that, for instance, some recruits that are female have stayed off or delayed their marital and child bearing plans for close to 2yrs while hoping to return from camp before settling down..and with this endless wait are they not confused? my fellow comrades in arms, we have waited and are still waiting for better days to come,
with all sense of sincerity, i wish to inform you guys that things have falling apart and de center can no longer hold for much longer. one of de main reason why de agency have failed to proceed with de cadets recruitment's process is due to lack of adequate fund to carry on, without the fund to finance de training, its as bad as no recruitment's.
yes de recruitment list is still intact but of what used would it be if it cant be pushed to the end, why fly when you dont have wings to fly?
for those that might know, months ago those that went to kaduna for training of Guards an Detectives, only spend 2months of training instead of 6months of rigorous and intensive training, its really certain that de agency is lacking
beyond reasonable doubt and all honesty, de only thing now is to pray regarding de whole issues but while awaiting de camp (thats if they will even call, cos its as good as cancelled if it exceed this year) i advice us all to carry on and continue with other recruitment processes that are online at de moment (NDLEA $ CIVIL DEFENSE). i wish us all a good news and a miracle to come as we all pray for a better tomorrow, GOD BLESS US ALL AND GOD BLESS THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA>
