[quote author=Valueinvestor post=75543601]Always try to ride your winners, Don't sell your stocks for selling sake. You must always have a tangible reason for selling. Even some investors in advanced market will say "Holding period for a good stock is forever" (although this may be applicable in our market). However if you wish to sell, (a) sell when you are short of funds to invest in a stock that will give even better than returns than the one you are currently holding (b) sell when a stock becomes irrational and overpriced - I guess this part answers your question, cos that is what happens when results come out - but some knowledge of TA would suffice here, watch out for drop in price and thining volume (or better still consult fxuser/Bullbearmkt, (c) sell when fundamental is deteriorating. Thanks a lot boss. |

Hello everyone, It's good news. My wife just received her visa, and I just received my documents from Royal Mail. Will present our timeline shortly, let me digest this pls. I'm so relieved. A huge thanks to justwise, lexusgs430, Portsmouth and everyone that contributed to this success. I'm really grateful. |
Lexusgs430:Lol. Both will be a perfect combo for me. |
Darcy16:Lol. My brother, considering the amount one paid for the application (~ to price of a plot of land in some areas), one has to be excited at first, then tensed later on as to what decision has been reached. Even when you do everything right, they make a reason. My friend that applied for his Naturalization in April last year, till today no news. MP don involve. The Indian lady said to be handling his case called him last week Tuesday, advising that ILR and Naturalization are the same. Why was he applying for it. That's to tell you that na junky be ECO. |
Lexusgs430:Boss, I'm not expecting the IHS refund o. They should keep it. Lol @ your recommendation. |
Hi Everyone, After waiting patiently on the 60working days, a decision has finally been made. An email was sent to my madam today. This remaining days to pick up the documents seem longer than the 60working days. Fingers crossed. On the other hand, I was informed that if they don't refund IHS fee to applicant, that it is a positive outcome. How true is this? I read somewhere that refunds can take up to 3months. Fasting and all night don start o. |

Tsuprisee:1). An alternative to contract of employment is to get a letter from the employer, written on company letter headed paper, stamped and signed by a senior mgt staff e.g manager. Details to include: employee's name, start date, position, the employment type, gross income, confirmation that payslip and p60 was issued by the company. 2). An alternative to tenancy agreement is a letter from land lord confirming that your husband lives at the property. The letter should state the property type e.g two bedroom flat with a living room. They should confirm that they are happy for you to stay there. Also as your husband shares the flat, he needs to get a supporting letter from the occupant, confirming that s/he is happy for you to stay there. Your husband should include any bills in his name. I uploaded the PDF of these in the past pages if I can remember. My laptop is misbehaving now and needs some technical touches,I would have uploaded it. Send an email to g_guis@yahoo.com I will forward the PDF to you from my email. |

Jennyze:Congratulations Jennyze.. |
Darcy16:Contacting them will be a total waste as nothing will come out of it. It's wise to contact them after the 60 working days. If there's no response from them , next action is to contact MP. My MP is aware, we are just waiting for the 60 working days. |
Darcy16:No contact yet Chief. Hopefully end of the month. |
