The Edo people have picked Obaseki Godwin to continue as Governor of their state, all Edo indigens are suppose to key in to this without fear or favour. Kassim Afegbua anger is that he(Afegbua), was not consulted or carried along on Obaseki's decamped to Pdp. Yet, he proud himself about conscience, does he have one? No! It is clear he has gone to join his Afemai club to save his former paymaster and tribe's man but not conscience.
He brags about numerous calls he receives from party members and friends to dissuade him from assisting the opposition. These are just gra gra and an attempt to raise the price for his pocket.

A good politician follows the direction of the people, Afegbua has just missed this one. The people that would do the vote don't even know Kassim Afegbua or read his write-up on the pages of the newspapers. I have never seen Afegbua in podium given an opportunity to make a campaign speech for a political party as a bigwig apart from using is pen and tv interviews which are not even attractive anyway. He is assuming too much influence that he doesn't deserve to himself. He is neither here nor there all for his pocket, i pity Apc and Pdp.

Now that we are aware, the Edos home and away shall be prepared to confront whatever plan the Buhari govt wants to put in place to roll back active democracy.

Whatever the Op thinks is his right to free speech, but make no mistake, Edo politics is always about personality and not on party line, besides Edo is PDP. The body language of the political activities in Edo recently is that its citizens want the continuation of Obaseki for another 4years (Togba 4+4), where another region of the state would be elected thereafter.
Obaseki will continue to build roads for Edo people, pay workers salaries, pay pensioners, improve on the healthcare system, continue with the education reform, conclusion of the electrification project, Edo industrial hub etc
The Edo people want to be above politics, all we need is someone who is capable, fit, and competent to deliver the development the people need, from from Edo South to Edo North and down to Edo Central.

This is a fight that requires a lot of intelligence. Obaseki on the lead for now, the end shall justify the means. I wish Obaseki well....if Obaseki comes back, 50/50 i may vote APC which would have never be possible.

I am flabbergasted that Apc gov't deems it fit not only to reply but to also support an external force that participated in escalating the then Chibok276. This has shown, how low this good for nothing government of the Apc has gone. Ask Cameron if they were invited before they went to Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, NONSENSE!

It's so bad for Buhari that a lot of Edo indigenes travelled down to cast their votes. Buhari should not think of winning Edo but to garner something above 35% vote. Edo is for Atiku.
