jayjaycee0:Really? When? I only know of TTT's own. When did Bisola give Bally a BJ? ![]() |
KIDDCAT:Bisola didn't have sexual intercourse with Bally. Haba na!! |
Nilknarf:Lol. Abeg no use my post to attack iCONs or else it'd defeat the purpose of my message. My post wasn't about Laycon fans, it cuts across all camps |
Nilknarf:Na so life be. Lol. I've been called unsavory names by some monikers when I say things that doesn't favour them or their faves. It doesn't bother me. I just do me and say the truth no matter whose ox is gored. Have been called an asslicker many times on here, but the same people that called me an asslicker will praise me when my comments favour their faves. I remember Gbegirisöup calling me an asslicker when my post didn't favour him, but was happy when I wrote so many nice things about Mercy. Na so life be. |
jayjaycee0:Bro, you are the one bringing Laycon and Omah Lay in the same comparison. Where did I ever say Laycon has more impressive numbers than Omah Lay? How will I with a clear head rate Laycon above Omah Lay? Omah Lay currently is some levels above Laycon and in future we can debate Omah Lay and Laycon if Laycon can churn out hits going forward. Only impressive hits after the BBN fame can make me rate Laycon above Omah Lay or same level as Omah Lay. But you are allowing sentiments cloud your sense of reasoning. I've given you an example of how voting robbed Burna and Phyno of an award they deserved but you keep missing the point. Do you think Omah Lay's superior numbers will count when he faces Laycon in a voting category with the current hype Laycon has? Let give you another example to show you Laycon is a threat. Last year, few weeks after BBN ended, Mercy and Mike won the Best Dressed Male and Female at the AMVCA, the VOTING category of the show. Now, while I admit that Mercy's dress was fire, let's take a minute and imagine Mercy had not just won BBN and was just lesser known celebrity and another lady had just won the BBN with that much hype, do you think for a sec Mercy would've won that award? Never!! You keep underestimating BBN fans and the hype of a winner. Remember the people that would vote are online and that's where Laycon has his most fans. Omah Lay's higher numbers or higher quality of songs won't count once voting is involved. I keep advising you but you don't want listen. Fans/Nigerians are very sentimental. They don't go with common sense in these scenarios. This is what you keep missing. Laycon is hot right now and the hype hasn't died down. If voting is involved, Omah Lay would be lucky to win if he's in the same category with Laycon. Fireboy DML had more better songs than Rema and even an album yet Rema who had more fans won him. If not for the fact that I hate seeing a deserved winner lose out on a prize, I'd have wished voting is still allowed and Laycon is placed in the same category with Omah Lay. If Laycon wins, you'd realize fans don't vote without sentiments. Number of streams doesn't count when your opponent has the bigger fans in a voting category. |
Dannyxy:Lol. I no say you no go vote Omah Lay along with the fans of LOVNN, I know how these things work and the power of BBN fans, so I'm praying the voting style is discarded or Laycon doesn't make it. ![]() |
Zoroaster:Fierce na correct banger. That song along with Hip Hopooray has never left my Playlist from the first day I heard them till now. I no be Laycon fan, but I gats tell the truth. |
mattgoners:I'm neither an iCON nor a Laycon fan, I've said it severally. I'm not a fan of any of the past season's HMs and I'd likely be fan of Tolanibaj (the HM I love the most), Kiddwaya, Prince or Erica before Laycon. I'm just someone that tries to say things as it'd be. Laycon has paid his dues and deserves to be in that category. His musical numbers are crazy within a short period of time and he's got at least 2 tracks to match his hype. |
jayjaycee0:You can win The Next Rated category with 1 song or 2 sef talk more of an album. When Sean Tizzle won ahead of Burna, he had one hit only (Sho Lee) while Burna had 2 and Phyno had an album. Phyno had a monster hit Ghost Mode with Olamide, had another hits like Alobam & Man of the Year (which won Best Rap Single), and was in the same Next Rated category with Sean Tizzle, Burna Boy, Dammy Krane and co; but guess who won? Sean Tizzle!! Laycon has an album, has a street banger in Fierce and Hip Hopporay as well Senseless. Laycon can make that category off the success of Fierce alone. One hit is enough to get you into that category. How many hits did Teni have when she won? |
jayjaycee0:I think Next Rated is a voting category hence why that category has yielded enough disputes and fights over the years with unmerited artistes winning it. Think back to Burna Boy losing out to Sean Tizzle, Lil Kesh losing out to Reekado Banks and the ensuing war of words between Don Jazzy and Baddo Sneh, Fireboy DML losing out to Rema who had a lot of fans more than him, especially starry-eyed female teenagers. Omah Lay should be the rightful winner of that category. The likes of Bella Shmurda & Cheque are worthy mentions that should equally win it if Omah Lay loses out. Zinoleesky, Bad Boy Timz and co are just to fill up the category. But while I believe Laycon shouldn't win it, I disagree with you that he shouldn't be in that category. It's true that BBN platform and BBN fans gave him the fame that brought his album and songs to the limelight, but last I checked, how you got your fans or the platform you used doesn't count against any artistes in getting into that category. With an album with millions of streams on various music/video apps, you can't deny that Laycon has gotten his songs into airwaves, radio stations and various medias and households. He has merited getting into that slot 100% but what I don't agree is that he'd win ahead of Omah Lay or Bella Shmurda and co. Sadly though, if Next Rated is by voting, I'm sad to say that Omah Lay MIGHT lose out because you can't trust humans, especially Nigerians, to leave behind sentiments and do the right thing. Laycon has got more online NAIJA fans than Omah Lay, and while Omah Lay might have more foreign and offline fans than Laycon, the online Naija fans are the ones that will hear about the voting and vote which might cause Omah Lay and others to lose out. If Laycon enters that category and it's still by voting, forget it, only a miracle and common sense would stop Laycon winning. He's got the fans and hype to win him any award that has got to do with voting. Let's hope Headies uses their brains and employ professionals to judge that category. |
Muquadam:How on earth were able to dig up a 2017 post of mine? 3 years ago post. |
The New Mutants. 3.5/10 From the different ratings and appraisals, I knew it would be bad movie, but I still had to download and watch just to mark register. |
akure1stson:I can't really say if he has an issue with Afolayan, but I don't think he has, people just have different tastes. Ratings are usually subjective. He probably enjoyed Oloture more Citation while the reverse was the case for us. Different taste for different people. |
KIDDRICAsHAWK:Baby, Allow me read the gbas gbos without exposing my presence. ![]() |
Treypolor:Frodd and Erica have been friends before she entered the BBN house. He supported her during the show and still wrote words of encouragement to her after she got disqualified. They are personal friends. |
Sweetpink:If it's true he made the snide remarks, then it's not cool. I know Neo and Erica were very friendly and he's one of the people Erica confided in with her secrets in the house, and I don't think Erica shaded him after she left. Well, let me not judge what I'm not sure of. If they're beefing, I hope they settle it, they are my people and I no dey like all these excessive beefings between HMs after the game ends. |
Sweetpink:Neo betrayed Erica? How? What happened? Gist me please. I no dey current for things happening post-BBN. |
DieRich5:Watch Cut Throat City, but the movie is below average to me. It's similar to Charm City but waaaay more inferior. |
Citation. 7/10. Before this movie, the first and only time I'd watched a Kunle Afolayan's movie was the boring October Ist. The movie was so dull, I watched it with the fast forward button to avoid getting bored to death. I swore not to watch any Kunle movie, besides I don't do Nollywood. But I was encouraged to watch Citation and I'm glad I did. This was a much better and well-directed Naija movie. And I agree with a poster that said it's levels above Oloture. Don't get me wrong, Oloture was all right, but it wasn't worth the hype IMHO. What stood out for me in Oloture was the ending which wasn't the regular happy ending we usually associate Naija movies with. But Citation was a breath of fresh air from all the trash Nollywood churn out and overhype them. I was mostly impressed with the speeches in the movie. Using French for much of the movie was something new and refreshing. And kudos to Temi Otedola. For her first movie, she aced it. Never knew she had it in her. In all, there might be some hope for Naija movies after all. Oloture and especially Citation are much improved movies and a shift from the mediocrity associated with Naija movies. Citation had a good cast, had heart, emotions and a message to pass across. Best Naija movie I've watched in a long while, and I rarely watch Naija movies. I'm impressed. |
Leyqute:You forgot to add that the Ukrainian farmers were forced to leave TEN of their first team players out of the match due to Covid-19 and yet disgraced Madrid at home with a makeshift team. |
iamoyindamola:Who's doing the drinking again? ![]() |
96forever:When did this so-called "consistency" of last season started? From beginning to the end or after Bruno was bought? Other seasons nko? Was he also consistent? |
96forever:Martial is usually off form that's why inconsistency is always mentioned beside his name. He has never been consistent. |
olabode89:Dont bother answering him anymore. He couldn't even answer any of my questions. Let him be with his trolling. You'd be wasting your time replying him henceforth. |
Melvyn11:The team has lost 3 games at home this season, can we say that about Arsenal and Chelsea? Tottenham räped us at home, which of the top 6 teams has suffered that on their turfs? If Chelsea and Arsenal wins today, will it still be 2 points? Istanbul BB has never scored a UCL goal but they did it against us and won us on top with some of the worst defending ever seen. We've spent hundreds of millions of pounds and yet the team has no identity. I know you're probably trolling us as a Madrid fan, but Ole is stealing a living at Old Trafford and he's an incompetent idìot!! If you love him so much, I hope Zidane gets sacked so you guys can hire him since y'all love him so much. |
TrebleChamp:Pochettino didn't reject Barcelona job because of United. Pochettino has said it multiple times in the past while he had a job that he won't coach Barcelona or Arsenal because of his ties to Espanyol and Tottenham. That rumor is false. |
A-team. 7/10 WALL-E. 9/10. Both are re-watch. Old but interesting movies. WALL-E especially never gets old to me. |
Nilknarf:Nubian beauty. My sweet Tbaj. Chai, I miss her. Will go check out her IG page later on. |
Nilknarf:Thank you, thank you, you're far too kind. ![]() |
Nilknarf:No lies detected!! How's my baby Tbaj doing? I dont follow any of this season's HMs even the ones I love, so I don't know much about them except the most popular ones their news are brought here. I hope she's doing fine and at least bagging one or two deals? |
Over The Moon (2020). 4/10. Too childish for my liking. |
