Cinderella Man (2005). 8.5/10.

Touching, emotional and family values-laden biographical (without a lot of infused fictional scenes and character, of course) sport drama. One of the best boxing movies I've seen. More enjoyable is the fact that the protagonist is a deviation from the usual trash talking and arrogant boxing characters that's the norm in the boxing world.

CosmicPhoenix:

Damn,I saw a movie few days back,it was him and Nicolas Cage.

A life well lived,RIP.

The Rock. Saw the movie twice as well this week. Never knew he'd die this week.

Raalsalghul:
RIP Sean Connery!

He gave us good memories with his Bond roles. RIP to him. He aged well.

patrickmuf:
I am quite certain that Arteta will start with 3 at the back (Luiz, Gabriel and Tierney) flanked by 2 wing backs (Bellerin and AMN)...He'll as well park the midfield and hope to catch us on the break.

I just hope Ole starts Tuanzebe to deal with the pace of Aubameyang if he breaks free...

I don't think Gabriel will be the weak link o! That guy has looked very good since he joined Arsenal.

I am confident of our chances especially if our 2 destroyers start...

In the absence of Martial, it will be interesting to see who Ole starts alongside Rashford...Cavani or Greenwood?

Luiz is injured. He won't start.

Plead:
Bruv, Nawah for you oh. See the way you're hiding the name of ordinary theme as if it's gold.

People dey this life Mehn.

You'd do well to move on from the pleading. He's not gonna answer you. You're the not the first person neither will you be the last he's ignored about this and other similar questions.

If you'd paid attention, you wouldn't be in this situation where you'd be ignored over ordinary font question. Let it go, he doesn't share.

And to think I was about to come and rate this gem after finally watching it.

Add another .5 abeg.

The movie deserved the .5. The directing, the pacing, the cinematography, the dialogue were top notch. Dramas are usually boring, but this one was captivating all through.

Impressive

The Trial of the Chicago 7. 9/10.

Unarguably the best 2020 movie I've watched this year. It doesn't get better than this. The ensembled cast alone packed enough heat and they all delivered. Fantastic storyline and wonderful directing from Aaron. This is definitely for keeps in my HDD.

Sacha Baron Cohen surprised me the most. I only knew him as comedy actor but he changed my perspective in this movie. I'd love to see him take more roles outside his comedy niche.

I was at Genesis cinema and they said that they are no longer showing it.

I believe in 2 weeks time, the movie would be out.

Nezzjnr:
So Rashford has outscored Hidden in The UCL

When will Tenet be available for download?

When you visit the cinema

Myth: buy a Toyota Corolla and rest easy

False!

Fact: once a Toyota Corolla is acquired you lose your rest easy... If you are not staying in a gated house... If you go out for a function... You'll notice Toyota Corolla owners pacing occasionally to check their cars....lest they become geographers like my brother up there.... "Na here I park am like this....see the key o"...

This is unlike so many other brands.... Fuel efficiency will not have any meaning once the car is stolen.... God forbid. Solutions... Local pedal locks...but thieves most of the time only loot Corolla cars... And the gbege begins...to get the correct ECU na wahala unlike other sensible cars... Well take the risk if you must but ensure you are staying in a gated house...insure the car... whatever that means in Nigeria

So, what brand of cars can you advise someone to buy which would be less troublesome and cumbersome to maintain?

armadeo:
I strongly disagree.

Me too. Very strongly for that matter.

The Perfect Storm (2000) 9/10.

One of the best biographical disaster drama I've ever watched, especially the ones pertaining to seas. Full of suspense and action packed. Had a very painful, sad but realistic ending. A must watch.

I don't understand how James who's proven to be a wasteman and Mata who is slow on the wings are starting. Greenwood or Cavani should have started.

haymekus:
Did you just say lenglet??

Or is something wrong with you?

Bro, Lenglet played well. Not like it was a fantastic performance, but he was amongst the few shining light in the average performance from your team.

nihilistjnr:
Hello?
Is that airmark? Wear slippers dey come, I wan show you something

You're a troublemaker.

I pity Dest sha. He played very well. Him, Neto and Lengelet stood out amongst Barca players.

Best players from Barca are Neto, Dest, Fati, Alba and Lengelet. Trincao, Pedri, Busquet and co were useless.

Omo. Sergio Ramos is incredible. See the way he dispossessed Messi with a smart tackle. What a player. Well deserved man of the match.

Dest has been fantastic for Barca, though. That guy is a fantastic player and doesn't deserve to lose.

It's over. 3-1. Barca defence carved wide open like a butchered cow.

Barcelona has been super lucky. Back to back misses for Madrid. They'd have wrapped this game up in the last 3 minutes.

Liposure:
saw it recently and was moved to tears.

I dropped a tear too but didn't wanna include it in my post.

The Hurricane (1999) 8/10

Denzel at his best. An awesomely inspiring and emotional laden biographical sport drama that exposes the racial discrimination, obstruction of justice and rot in the law enforcement agencies.

With similar storyline as Just Mercy, Denzel portrays Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, an inspiring boxer whose career got derailed by injustice.

genius43:
Is that not Lilo I am looking at?

That's her.

SammyFX:
Mhen tht girl looks more lik lilo but m sure she is not the one

She's Lilo.

Oloture - 5/10

Charm City Kings - 6/10.

Tatiana4u:
Do I have to tell you that disqualified housemates are not entitled to their prizes?

I think it's up to the companies to give or not give disqualified HMs their prices. Every single price Erica won, if the different companies choose to give it to her, Multichoice can't stop it.

Cut Throat City. 4/10.

Boring movie.

CosmicPhoenix:

i carry wizkid over 3.5 and straight win.

LMAO. Weyrey.
