Boss, you get link for the gbenshing? seeing is believing!!!
It was posted on my WhatsApp status. TBH, I didn't see their faces. But I rushed down to this thread and info on this thread points to them. I'm not 100% sure it's them, but whatever was going on in that video, was sex.

If I see the link to the video, I'll post it here.

It worked for Nina so I don’t see why.
If she isn’t saved it will have to do with her accent and not having sex.
And Gedoni has huge fan base like Miracle to power Khafi to the final?

There's no way Khafi won't be saved because of her accent. Mike's got accent and people are voting for him.

If Khafi is up, I doubt she'll be saved. I can't remember any female Naija BBN or BBA rep that was spared from bashing after getting sexual on TV. I think Khafi's fate is sealed. cry cry

Just watched the video of Khadoni gbenshing under the sheets.

Chai. This girl don finish me. They'll bash her non-stop on Twitter today. Any hope of her going far may have gone with the wind.

Why are my faves making it hard for me to see them at the finals?

I can see that you dont want to apply sense.

I will leave you with two facts from ornicus's example.

1. The guy held an IT position before becoming a COO in an IT firm called Microsoft.

2. Between being a cashier, a CIO and a CEO the guy would have gone through numerous professional trainings and experience.
LOL @embolden. Abeg, let's move on from the issue.

And you think it is out of place for a law firm who made a guy who never had a law degree junior partner to make a long serving secretary a COO?

If Donna is not deserving of the role, Mike should never have nothing more than a backroom sidekick to Harvey.

Say no to hypocrisy. grin

Sometimes I wonder how people can be so unaware when they contradict themselves.

A person as a CIO, and then a CEO before becoming a COO- and that is the example you are using to say that COO is not a technical job.

Lol
You're funny. Did you miss the place that said he's just a cashier before working his way up to CIO? Oga, from all Ornicus has posted, you don't necessarily have to be a lawyer to be a COO in a law firm. The COO deals with the internal workings of the organization while the CEO or like the partners in a law firm, are the face of the firm.

The COO is multi-talented and sometimes knows how to make things work more than the CEO. Donna is the engine room of that firm. Everyone loves her. She even know how to settle legal disputes between their firms and others. Making her a COO is a wise and legit decision. It had nothing to do with bad script.

What are you on about? Oga, ALL the partners unanimously agreed to make Donna the COO. So, who will stop them in their own firm? Their employees?

If a secretary could make COO, what is stopping a clerk that has stayed with Harvey from day one from also making COO?
The answer is simple - what will stop ANYONE from attaining any position is the partners, and if they want a clerk to be a COO, then they'd make him one.

DOES DONNA PAULSEN HAVE A LAW DEGREE?
Is not about law degree. Those with the superior power placed her there. It's their choice. If you don't like it, quit. It's their firm, they have the right to put her there and fire her as well.

Does my oga have the right degree to head my department? So, why haven't he been fired?

You're asking me to do the impossible, cuz there is no way I'll put myself through the chore of watching Suits again.

Donna being COO will give her a veto power to remove and replace more qualified senior partners, like I have already seen from watching Boston Legal. And you're telling me those people would willingly give a secretary that much power in real life? No friggin way man.
Let's move on then. I wouldn't go back to a series I've abandoned, and I don't expect you to do so as well.

I've used my oga's story to let you know that owners sometimes doesn't necessarily give a hoot about anybody's feelings before appointing people they want. Yes, Donna has the right to fire people more qualified academically under her and it's not bad or wrong.

Buhari doesn't have more academic qualifications than all his appointees but he can fire them.

Did you watch a different suits?

Donna is the one holding the company together even when she was a regular secretary for Harvey.

She was the go to person for virtually everybody on the board when things go south and they are worship her.

Even after Robert came on board and he was trying to downplay her relevance and rank in the firm, he later saw what made everyone worship her and said "You are the one holding this place together"

How did Louis became manager when Alex/Harvey vs Samantha/Robert tussle for named partner almost tore the firm apart?

DONNA PAULSEN

How will they object to her becoming COO
He keeps underestimating Donna. Harvey and Louis alone can't manage that firm. If Robert can testify of Donna's usefulness in few months, then nobody can underestimate her importance. She's the oil servicing the moving parts of that firm. Harvey and co are not fools for fighting to keep her in the firm.

History have shown that continuing a show without it's primary protagonist is a dead sentence.

Using Viking to underline your assertions only served to further buttress my point. Vikings became a shadow of it's former self once they killed off Ragner, fyi.
So they're ending it this season after realizing Mike and Rachel are still sorely missed. Last season was still very good. It's not as if the script went from good to mediocre.

Perhaps you ought to watch The Good Wife to see how a real law firm works.
No two law firms or hospitals or companies WORK EXACTLY THE SAME. Harvey's law firm is a respectable law firm, just because the COO is Donna doesn't diminish its reputation.

I've not watch the Good Wife, but each law series have their peculiarity.

That's not how it works in a prestigious law firm, is it? Harvey may be the named partner, but in the real world, it's not up to him alone to make Donna COO. Other senior partners will have to approve of this peculiar stance in a vote, and I guarantee you, those people won't let an outsider sit in their "table". High priced attorneys are a pompous lot.
Others did. They made decision to remove her as a co-partner as she doesn't have the qualifications to be one and unanimously agreed that her loyalty, contributions and years of service worth a COO position. Harvey only announced it to her. He didn't make the decision alone to make her a COO.

Just watch it. You're judging the decision without knowing anything about it. If you'd spare some time, watch the episodes and judge for yourself.

AND Donna didn't just wake up and become the COO, everything was well explained in the series.

Some people just like forming ignorant opinions.
You don't know how something came about, ASK!
He only needs to watch to see both Harvey and other partners did the right thing by giving her the COO. Even Donna understood that lack of law qualifications hindered her being a co-partner, so, she was happy being a COO coz she's still a boss, just under the partners. She deserved it 100%. It had nothing to do with bad scripting.

If the theme of the show had retained it's comedic element, I would have let a plot hiccup like this slide, but for a show that has chosen to go the serious route, I cannot let it go, and I've no choice but to judge it with real world scenerios.

That said, in the real world, there's no way in hell Donna would have made partner talk more of COO in a prestigious law firm, loyal or not. The best she will get is a pay rise, and a promotion to an executive secretary (boss of junior secretaries), that's it. Making her a COO is a big FU to junior partners and associates, you know, people that actually have law degrees.

The writers must have smoked an expired weed to spun something so outlandish and ridiculous in a show that has abandoned it's comedic premise.
LOL. Let me tell you a real story.

In my department at my current place of work, the head of my department doesn't have the qualifications to merit the position, but yet he's heading our department. What happened? story had it that he read accountancy and was in the salary unit. But when he's made acting head of that unit, under two years, the owner realized he's making more money under my oga than under previous account department heads. It turned out that my oga stopped illegal siphoning of funds by past heads. He made sure every money was accounted for. The owner was impressed and made him the permanent head of account department. In almost 10 years of his reign, he's exemplary in his duty, making sure every money was accounted.

To reward him for loyalty, integrity and diligent work ethic, the owner made him the head of my department with a fat pay check. The owner didn't give a phuck about anyone's feelings. He's the piper and so he dictates the tune. If you don't like it, then you can quit.

That's what happened in Donna's case.

The show was about Mike, he was the protagonist. For the fact that the showrunner continued it without him reeks of greed and desperation.
Unfair judgment. Mike and Rachel announced they're leaving midway into last two season. If the show runners ended everything that season, it'd make no sense as they'd have to rush things and end it stupidly.

So, ending it two seasons after, showed they tried to see if they'd keep satisfying the appetite of its fans but when they found out they couldn't, they had to end it. That's a wise decision. You just don't give up without a trial.

Vikings' major character was killed off, yet the series continued. It's not greediness to try and see if a show could still thrive after a major character leaves.

Making her a COO is even worse. She's practically the boss now.
LOL. There's something called loyalty. Donna has been with the firm as long as Harvey. She's done a lot for the firm and even helped them win cases. She deserved an upgrade and even rival firms were trying to snatch her away. COO is the reward for long and reliable service to a firm she helped in her own way, stay relevant.

I'd have told you to watch the series to see if Donna deserved the position or not, but honestly, if I was tired of a series or movie, I wouldn't go back to it for any reason.
