Vianna:The man was so frustrated he yelled at Frodd to drop phone and dance. Those HMs are borefest. Snapping pics while asses are shaking on the dance floor. Imagine me in that party. Avala's ass would be permanently glued to waist. The chick was emitting hotness and looking for who to rock and Frood was taking pics.

iamJ:Na lie. These HMs are too dull.. No kind of jams would've saved this night. |
Almost everything was wrong with tonight's party, every fvking thing!! For starters, the party arena was trash. Small. Compacted. Lack of space. Compressed. How do you compress people in such a tight corner and expect them to dance? They got it totally wrong. DJ Xclusive was average tonight. He used to be best DJ back in BBA and past BBN, right now, he seems to have lost his marbles. He looks like the ghost of his former brilliant best. But to be fair, he gave it his best shot, the HMs were just too dumb. Xcklusive started very badly but he improved, and despite all the magic he tried to conjure up, the HMs were just too frigid, docile and clueless as to how to dance. Im short, I don't think if a combination of the best DJs in the world could've gotten 95% of these HMs to dance. The Housemates. *spits* Entertainment wise, this is the dullest HMs I've been unfortunate to witness. All looking good without a single strain of good entertainment value in them. The worst were the men. I mean, Avala (I'm glad that finally people are noticing how pretty she is) was looking irresistible tonight and looking to mingle, Mercy was whining her waist seductively, Khaffi was hyperactive, Tasha was even twerking badly, Thelma was great. There was asses to rock and yet the dumb men were busy walking around like pepper sellers. Nelson was even sitting down. Gideoni was no where to be found. Jeff and Ike were busy being invisible. Tuoyo and Mike really tried, the rest.... In short, let me stop before I get really pissed. Then Kayode was totally useless, constantly showing a particular area and some ladies constantly. Tacha was dancing and we couldn't get to enjoy her. Foolish Kayode was busy showing only Thelma, Diane, Khafi, Mercy and Avala. I just tire. Dj Xclusive messed up, but last season's HMs would've still be able to rock thst party. Useless dull HMs!! |
Threebear, I can't believe I actually believed you when you fooled me into thinking Frodd can dance. ![]() |

I'm trying so hard to dodge the little spoilers y'all are dropping here. I'm almost skipping the posts of those that have seen it. Make una stop these madness na. Go spoil the movie on the thread Ishi dropped. Make use of the thread and spare us the agony of reading the spoilers. Those little hints are all spoilers, biko. Maybe I'd even unfollow this thread till next week when I must have watched it. ![]() |
ibkayee:What? You haven't seen Infinity War? What's been stopping you from seeing it since? |
OlaBa: nani6666: Afobear:Thanks, guys. Your posts has given me insights on what to really expect. |
Emekus92:My mind told me the same. Will confirm in about 2 weeks time. |
ibkayee:Between Infinity War and Endgame, which is more interesting? |
oyaskii:You went on a weekend. You shouldn't be surprised. When it's time, I'm going on a Thursday afternoon, precisely by 12pm ahead of showing by 4pm. |
KoiceReloaded:Bro, I don tire. If Seun doesn't want us to post on his site, let him kukuma tell us. Which kain nonsense is this?
|
Seun, Lalasticlala, Mukina2 and co, isn't it time antispermbot is removed from this site? Of what use is it if people like me can be banned for no just reason; not for posting suspicious links or insulting anyone or even breaking any rules, but for posting a reasonable post. My BEORN moniker has just been banned by Spermbot for a reason I'm still stressing my brain to figure out. This shit_ is very annoying. WTF?!! |
bidemz:If you've downloaded the subtitle already and are using VLC as your media player, where you see the play button and other options, click on option before the play option, click on select subtitle, navigate through your folders to the folder where the subtitle file is located and click on it, automatically, the film will now play with the subtitles. |
Beorn1:CC: Ujsizzle, Lalasticlala, Obinoscopy. |
cao:All right. Thanks. |
Cao, please unhide my comment on this page and unban my main moniker, Beorn. Antispermbot banned me for rating a movie. I'm shocked. This is getting ridiculous. Seun, please re-program this bot, it's getting too comical. Someone can't post any more or what. ![]() |
Aspiregreat:After all the much grammar, you dropped the shocking bombshell. ![]() |
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. 7.5/10. |
KoiceReloaded:LOL. Do you know Manchester By Sea is a sleep-inducing pill to me? The epitome of borefest. Bored me so much that I slept off three times before I'd finish the movie. Yet it's highly rated and won an Oscar for Casey Affleck. Make no mistake, I love The Revenant more than The Danish Girl any day, anytime, I'm just highlighting that being fun is not good enough a criteria to give an actor an Oscar. There are more popular ways to readily get an Oscar even if the character is boring: 1. Portraying a legendary or biographical character like Gary Oldham portraying Winstone Churchill in Darkest Hour or Eddie portraying the character in Theory of Everything, or Dicaprio in Wolf of Wolf Street, or Denzel portraying Malcom X in the movie with the same name (although Denzel was denied an Oscar for his performance). 2. And while at it, either gaining or losing weight, or acting disabled. Voters loved that shït. For example the Best Actor wins for Geoffrey Rush’s turn as an idïot savant pianist in “Shine,” Tom Cruise’s portrayal of paraplegic Vietnam veteran Ron Kovic in “Born on the Fourth of July,” Daniel Day-Lewis’ foot-painting cerebral palsy victim, Christy Brown in “My Left Foot” and Eddie Redmayne for the Stephen Hawking bio-pic “The Theory of Everything.”. Oscar awards for Best Actor or Supporting Actor are more easily given for those 2 reasons than "being fun" criteria. As for coming 3rd in polls, it's nothing shocking; Actors who deserved to win Oscars during their time didn't come first in the polls either. But before the issue drags on unnecessarily, I agree with you that the oppositions standing in the way of Leo in 2016 were weak. I'm just saying, compared to other vintage Leo's performance, The Revenant is lagging far behind. |
FoolishBoy419:You may have to look for another thread for your question's answer, because we hardly watch Nollywood over here. |
sprints2:3 weeks ke? Shuooo. |
KoiceReloaded:Saying it's a wildlife documentary kinda diminished the quality of the film, I admit, but it wasn't to make fun of the film but to truly show it's not in the same range of top Leo's films or acts. And your last sentence is not a strong foundation to build your defence of Leo's Oscar win on. Do you think that's the first time Leo had won precursor awards going into the Oscars and yet lost out at the grand stage? If you think it is, then think again. DiCaprio's portrayals of Howard Hughes in The Aviator (2004) won him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama. His performance as Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) won him the Golden Globe award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. What I'm trying to say is that, there are many actors out there that won precursor awards going into Oscars and lost at the Oscars. If we are judging with your analogy, then Leo would've won with the Aviator and Wolf of Wall Street which I admit are better than The Revenant in all levels. I still insist that Leo got that Oscar because it's been long overdue, not because of any piece of great spectacular acting. Eddie Redmayne won an Oscar for portraying stephen Hawking, then for portraying "Einar Wegener" in The Danish Girl he should have gotten Oscar, because his performance in The Danish Girl was better than that of The Theory of Everything or at par. Your opinion that people would easily forget his acting (or that of other actors nominated alongside Leo for that year) or term it boring shouldn't count after all Casey Affleck was the epitome of boredom in Manchester By Sea and yet won an Oscar for it. The brilliance of an acting is considered, the values of the film as well or what it potrays, but never the fun (or lack of it) of the act. He faced a less commercially successful movie in The Danish Girl, that's why he won. If The Danish Girl had as much marketing and significance as Theory of Everything had, nobody would be debating the worthiness of Leo's Oscar win with The Revenant. |
Bryan12:Wrong. Oshea Jackson, Ice Cube's son, is a black American. |
KoiceReloaded:You added this addendum. Well, you can make an excuse for The Revenant based on this premise and you may be right. The competition that year were too weak. |
KoiceReloaded:How could you say that I'm raining on Leo's parade when I've been Leo's fan from the first time I watched Titanic, and followed it up with The Man in the Iron Mask? I've been of the opinion for so long that Leo deserved an Oscar award for his role in Gangs of New York, just that he came up against the king of Oscars in Daniel Day-Lewis. I cannot rain on the parade of someone I was so gutted for when he's denied an Oscar for his role in Wolf of Wall Street. You're even proving me right by saying the competition for that year's category was weak. It solidifies my opinion that The Revenant was nothing spectacular. If The Revenant is compared to other Leo's movies, it'll come up short. Google Leo's top acting, The Revenant is barely in any site's top 5. I'd take Eddie Redmayne's acting in The Danish Girl over the Leo's acting in The Revenant, boring or not. Being boring is not a criteria in my choice of good acting. After all someone ignored the spectacular performance of James McAvoy in Split and rated it poorly. Some of my friends found Eddie's acting in Theory of Everything to be boring as well, but it got him a well-deserved Oscar award. |
KoiceReloaded:Leo's Oscar award for The Revenant was not merited, it's more like "dashed" to him because he's been denied on multiple occasions in the past. It's been long overdue that's why he was given that Oscar. The Revenant showed perseverance and determination, and Leo was fantastic in it, but it's nothing so "extraordinary" to deserve an Oscar. Movie was like a wildlife documentary. Leo has pulled off more epic acting than what was seen on The Revenant. His Oscar-deserving roles are in movies like Wolf of Wall Street Departed Aviator Catch Me If You Can. Titanic Shutter Island The Revenant is not Oscar worthy. Can you compare the brilliant acting in Wolf of Wall Street to that survival wildlife documentary called The Revenant? |
