greatgod2012: My sister, honestly, I love your orientation about politics and politicians. That you supported a party and it's members does not refrain you from criticising them when it seems they're not getting it right. This is what our politicians need, praise, when they deserve it and criticism when they get it wrong, this will always put them aright.
But, no, when you do that, some empty headed people will call for your head, calling you different unprintable names for saying the obvious.
May God help us. Thanks my sister. your maturity is commendable. I appreciate. Good morning |

Alphaoscar: Most of these commenters are very ignorant of Tinubu's impact in Lagos . He laid the foundation and the blueprints for all his successors are celebrating now.
Some of those that formed his cabinet then are still around holding one position or the other in assisting his successors to succeed .
Tinubu is the main man as far as Lagos is concern . He is in charge of political machinery and which enabled his successors to concentrate on their job without the distraction of handling the politicians and their troubles .
Imagine a politically naive Fashola or Ambode at the mercy of Bode George , Obanikoro , GOS and co ? ( E no go funny) . Even Amaechi with all his political experience was derailed talk less of the lightweights in the midst of heavyweights. We are not talking about who's in charge of political machinery in Lagos. We all know tinubu is. what we are discussing is who performed better since 1999 as governor. Fashola is the man!! |

OkoNDOoBo: Hello I doubt u lived in lagos if u Disagree with the points barcanista raised, Am a indigene of lagos awori to be precise from alimosho local govt the engine room of AD/AC/ACN/APC in Lagos state.
Tinubu laid the foundation for new Lagos, the likes of fashola and ambode re just building on the foundation.
70% of street urchins in Ipaja,,egan, isheri, idimu, egbeda, ikotun, egbe, ejigbo, igando, Iba e.t.c were integrated to KAI and the rest were under NURTW and lastma,70% all the state roads around this areas was built during Tinubu tenure he change the face of alimosho, that's why we can never betray him even if he leaves APC today . With Alimosho is in his grip nobody can defeat his candidate in lagos even he cross to Kowa party. you're a liar!! The only road tinubu built in all those places you mentioned was LASU-Isheri road which cost 5billion naira. Fashola did every other road except for Ikotun-Ejigbo road which was done by Ambode. Being a Lagos indigenous man does not make you know about Lagos more than me. mtscheeew! |

TonyeBarcanista: I reiterate that antenatal under BAT was FREE.
I observed that you skillfully avoided the part where I said Area Boys were integrated into LASTMA and KAI brigades.
As for BRT/LAGBUS pioneer drivers, it is on record that agberos were the first set of drivers that took up the jobs. This is a fact.
Lemme explain a fact to you. Before Tinubu era, Falomo was an EYESORE. The under-bridge was littered with touts, thieves and agberos despite its proximity to Army barrack(signal) and Police Barrack. The place was high disorganized. When Tinubu came, most of the known faced Agberos were integrated into KAI brigade, while BAT fixed and dualised Awolowo Road that stretches to French embassy. He also beautified the round about and converted the under-bridge into car park for corporate organisations there.
I wasn't told, I witnessed it...
And I was BORN and bred in Lagos... yes, some of them were intergrated into LASTMA, isn't it obvious? I disagree with you on KAI sha. Fashola performed more than Tinubu, that's the fact! Which Lagos resident doesn't know that? |
Politics › Re: HEROES OF NIGERIA: Meet The Best Governors By Geopolitical Zones Since 1999 by Beremx(f): 4:06pm On Aug 24, 2016 |
OdenigboAroli: Do you actually think Chime performed better than Obi? Chime that was busy beautifying an already built up city ,while Obi was doing the foundational work for the greatness of Omanbala. You can never win this debate from now till eternity! Aroli I bia kwala ozo? Well, i am judging based on what i read online about the performance of the two men. Which i think Chime performed better. As a supremacist which you have been, i don't expect you to agree with me. |

TonyeBarcanista: Tinubu's antenatal care WAS free while he held sway. Go confirm ma..
As for Agberoism, he inherited it and fought it to standstill. Most of the agberos were integrated into KAI brigade and LASTMA. Others were pioneer drivers of LAGBUS and BRT. This is a FACT!
I grew up in Lagos and followed his administration... Antenatal care has never been free my dear. Just that the fees were reduced to help those who can't afford it. it wasn't absolute free. Tinubu never fought Agberoism instead it became a problem during his administration. it was during Fashola early administration that Agberos were recognized wearing uniforms and integrating into NURTW officially. I disagree with you that the agbero boys were Pioneer LAGBUS and BRT drivers. haba mana! If you talk about growing up in Lagos, i was born and raised in Lagos. |

LORDOFAFONJAS: and the very reason i didn't read that post was because of that tinubu, even ambode 1 year is far better than tinubu. On almost every lips of Lagosians, Tinubu will forever be remembered as a one time governor who initiated and legalized AGBEROISM in Lagos. For the Op's information about Tinubu, Antenatal Care is not free in Lagos. I am talking from experience. Though the state hospitals provide quality health care services to pregnant women, it is not FREE!! |
