I can't believe this is the priest that comes to celebrate mass at the catholic church in Festac Town years back as a visiting priest. He's a very funny man I must confess.

Do you know shoprite is opening beside dubar hotel by ending of this month. I bet most people here don't know where durba hotel is...

yes, I attended a wedding last week at Golden Tulip(formerly called Durbar Hotel). i was surprised to see the ongoing construction of Shoprite beside the hotel. I was wondering if the location is ok because it is hidden and not noticeable. I heard rumors last year that the NITEL building at 22road was to be bought and converted to Shoprite. That means it didn't work out. That would have been a perfect location for Shoprite.

All those afformentioned m'lady are carried out by people that were not breed. Festac breed. I was also born and brought up in festac and I still reside in festac town.

Since FHA started selling off those properties things started to change., no federal govt presence in the hood, the state govt had to Bare some maintenance...

of course I know na! Those of us who were bred in Festac knew what festac town was back in those days. festac town had intelligent children in education,showbiz and even sports. The likes of Plantation Boiz(Tuface,Faze and black face),Azadus,Sound Sultan,Baba Dee and many I can't remember where product of Festac Town. It is those who moved to festac recently that have destroyed the once lovely town.

I almost wept when i watched him on AIT two days ago after I have stopped watching the yeye station for almost a year now. He looks frail and he is aging very fast.
While Dokpesi and his family are getting fatter,his employees are looking sick especially the men.

Fr. Mather Hassan Kukah is one man of God i have showered respect for right from when he used to celebrate Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Festac Town years back. That was way back before he was well known.
His comments today on corruption is absolutely disgusting and disappointing.
