The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has dissociated himself from campaign poster that was seen in Abuja and its environs. The posters, which also bore ‘Pukka’ a Hindi word which literally means ‘Genuine’ emerged after a report on how Atiku allegedly enlisted the assistance of two cerebral lawyers in Washington DC, United States of America to lobby the American government for recognition as the winner of the last presidential election. Many of the posters were seen in the Central Business District within the Abuja city center. Atiku reacting in a statement by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, dissociated himself from the posters, adding that he is focused on retrieving his stolen mandate. The statement reads: “Our attention has been drawn to posters of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election being circulated in Abuja. “We disassociate the former Vice President of Nigeria from the said posters in circulation. “The campaign season is over. The tainted electoral victory by the incumbent is being challenged in court. “We refuse to be distracted, which is exactly the objective of our opponents but to remain focused on diligently pursuing our election petition with a view to retrieving the stolen mandate.” |

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has fixed a date and time to begin the execution of 23 Nigerians sentenced to death for drug trafficking. The Saudis have refused to make the data public, but according to The Nation, the beheading will take place “any time from now.” The Nigerian government has also been blamed for the execution of Nigerians in Saudi Arabia, because of its late response to issues concerning its citizens. Saudi Arabia usually carries out the beheadings at Deera Square in central Riyadh, the capital city. Another Nigerian, Wahid Somade, was arrested last Thursday at Jeddah Airport, in Saudi Arabia, for allegedly smuggling about 1,138g of cocaine, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa said on Friday. 23 death row inmates could not be named for “diplomatic and sensitivity” reasons. But the names of Nigerians, both male and female, in prison in Saudi Arabia have been released. Two are serving 20 years imprisonment while one is serving 15 years in jail. |
There are 24 Nigerians who were condemned to death between 2016 2018 for drug trafficking in contravention of the Kingdom’s Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances Control Law issued under Decree No. M/39 dated 8/7/1428AH; “There are 12 Nigerian women currently serving various jail terms at Dhahban prison for drug smuggling. “Meanwhile, the following drug traffickers are serving various jail terms: a) Halimat Oyebanjo Oyaya – 10 years b) Sherifat Shawni – 4 years c) Limata Ahmad – 10 years d) Halimat Isah – 5 years e) Olubumi Adejarani Olaniyan – 10 years f) Omobolanle Funke – 15 years g) Nuratu Bolanle Yusuf – 15 years h) Maryam Ibrahim Tanko – 7 years i) Rahma Abdulkarim 20 years j) Nuratu Yusuf Abike – 20 years k) Bolaji Kehinde – 10 years I) Yasirat Abolanle Salau – awaiting trail. “There are a number of Nigerians accused of drug trafficking incarcerated at various Saudi Prisons but the Mission was unable to undertake consular visits due to refusal by the Saudi authorities to grant permission for such visits despite repeated requests and “Drug smuggling into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Nigerians has reached an alarming proportion and all hands must be on deck to check this menace.” The Consul-General gave insight into how a syndicate had infiltrated the security in Kano to perpetrate drug trafficking. |

Nigerian medical doctor identified as Dr Olufunmilayo, took out time from his busy schedule to educate men who boast that the size of their male member can shift a woman’s womb. Dr Olufunmilayo wrote: During labour/delivery, When a woman’s cervix (the gate of the womb) is fully opened at 10cm, to allow a baby to come out, this is what it looks like. But men like to fool themselves and assume they can “shift your womb”. Yet 95% of penis width is under 5cm. Beautiful delusion. He added: But it takes 9months for the body to prepare for this” Exactly. Now think about it. If it takes 9months to prepare for a delivery of a whole baby, an act that doesn’t even “shift the womb”, is it your 3cm width penis that will make a difference?

femi4:this help is for people without engine problems. CHECK ENGINE light issues sometimes result from excess oxygen from the fuel tank that will mess with the air to fuel ratio and thus the frequent oxygen sensor codes if you diagnose using a code reader. Before you label me a liar for giving free advice, I suggest in your own case to really check your engine with a professional instead of looking for quick fix on nairaland. |

I heard "promises on security, the economy & the fight against corruption." " We will continue to administer the resources of Nigeria honestly and productively." "are also tackling illegal mining" "seriously addressing the underlying issues responsible for the clashes between farmers and herders." what did you hear? |
If they see nobody on the roads, they will come kidnap on trains. Leaders have failed the people. Even the operation puff adder is just puffing while people are being killed. Soon another James Bond will take photographer into the shrubs for another photo shoot. Even air not safe you didn't hear thieves are removing bags from aircrafts on the runway in Lagos. Results of a failed government. |
To turn off that stubborn CHECK ENGINE light on some older models, turn the ignition to ON for 10 seconds and then turn back to OFF without turning on the vehicle. Repeat this twice and turn on the car. The CHECK ENGINE should go off. If light persists in some cases, disconnect the positive terminal of the battery overnight. CHECK ENGINE on some Toyota and Honda models is because filling station attendants don't lock the fuel cap well. Make sure your fuel cap is locked till you hear the clicking sound |
Let's be honest NJC goofed on their decision. IPOB should be commended. Just wondering why a foreign country will be interested in Nigerian chief justice |

Contrary to claims and photos posted by Mr E-Money on Instagram showing him dressed in convocation gown at the University of Lagos convocation. He captioned the pictures: To God be the glory! I have just received a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Management and Corporate Governance at an event held inside the University of Lagos. I’m joined here by the incoming Deputy Governor of Lagos, Dr Obafemi Hamzat whose father, Olatunji Hamzat (an influential politician) also bagged a Doctorate Degree. UNILAG debunked E-Money's claim by releasing a statement showing the list of people conferred with a doctorate degree but E-money’s name was missing from the list **** TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN The University of Lagos, #UnilagNigeria , on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at its 50th (2018) Convocation Ceremonies (Day 3), conferred Distinguished & Emeritus Professorship and Honorary Doctorate Degrees on the following eminent personalities: 1.
