AutosRe: Cityhood Of Dada Motors Won't Refund Me After Delivering A Dead SUV by besttrader: 5:58pm On Dec 28, 2016
I have been thinking of upgrading my Kia Optima LX 2006 model to something better. Not made up my mind yet, but in the entire car section I think Cityhood was my surest bet. However, thanks buddy for the update and will think of other option (obviously physical inspection included). Although, my first car was gotten through my younger brother in Lagos (I've had no issue with the car whatsoever).

As an ardent user of online platforms, I must say I had a transaction with one dude in Port Harcourt way back, maybe 2007. He wanted to get $1,000 worth of Paypal funded into his account, contacted me and before I could say jack this dude wired the full money into my GTBank account.

I called him and told him my capacity is to deliver $200 per week into his Paypal account and in 5 weeks we would be done, he said no problem and I kept my side of the bargain. I told my friends after the deal that I fear this dude will be frauded going into the future because the way our deal went he would apply same to another and gbam!!!

You see sometimes, you carry out successful online transactions and take such experiences going into the future, apply them to future transactions and they fail. Every online transaction is unique. Carry out proper due diligence before passing your hard-earned money down the line. I also got a thing or two to learn from all the wonderful comments as I prepare for an upgrade into 2017.

Thanks all!!

PoliticsRe: If You Are To Vote On A Referendum On Nigeria Co Existence by besttrader: 8:20am On Jun 30, 2016
I'm from Cross River State and will vote against the Union. I use to believe we had a union, not anymore. I wish I could have a country for my state, in the absence of that, I'll give a sovereign state of Niger Delta a nod, if that isn't politically feasible then Biafra (with a new name though that will reflect all entities/unity of the constituents), and in the absence of the aforementioned, nothing else will suffice.
BusinessRe: Naira Gains as Nigeria’s Central Bank Boosts Dollar Supplies - Bloomberg by besttrader: 7:52am On Jun 23, 2016
I don't get all these folklore about the naira appreciation, the naira 1D chart shows a currency that is obviously doing poorly. It opened trading around the N250 level on Monday and stands around N281.50 in the interbank market. More is yet to be seen, as we have to keep our hands crossed. We all are hoping the Naira appreciates, but at the moment that's yet to be seen.

You can monitor the USDNGN parity on Bloomberg at http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/USDNGN:CUR

Cheers House wink

I'll leave you guys with these verses from the bible:

Deut. 23:12 You shall have a designated area outside the camp to which you shall go.
Deut. 23:13 As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement.
Deut. 23:14 For the LORD your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.

God directed the children of Israel to cover their poo, he didn't want to see filth - the truth is God hates FILTH. Please read your bible!! That environment there on that video is filthy.
PoliticsToo Much Solar Electricity Makes Chile Give It Away For Free! by besttrader(op):
Chile’s main solar power plants are supplying so much electricity that they have to give it away for free or face prices going down. The glut has been driven by the country’s booming copper industry.

Chile’s growing energy demand has prompted the development of 29 solar farms to supply the central grid. Booming mining production and economic growth have been the main drivers. The country is expected to install almost 1.4 gigawatts of solar power this year, up from 371 megawatts in 2015, according to Bloomberg , which is enough to supply hundreds of thousands of homes.

However, paradoxically, spot prices reached zero in parts of the country on 113 days by April of this year, a number much higher than last year’s total of 192 days, according to Chile’s central grid operator, Bloomberg wrote.

While customers may well appreciate cheaper electricity, for energy companies struggling to generate revenue and cover the costs of maintaining their power plants, the drop in prices comes as bad news. Chile has two major power hubs, the central and northern grids, but the two are not connected to each other, which explains the stunning phenomenon.

A region in which a grid is located can overproduce power, prompting prices to fall, because the surplus cannot be transmitted to other parts of the country, Carlos Baria, the former chief of the government’s renewable-energy division, told Bloomberg.

Even more solar power plants have been built in the heart of Chile’s mining industry in the north, but as copper output slows amid a worldwide glut, economic growth stagnates too, meaning that power plants oversupply regions that lack the ability to distribute the electricity elsewhere.

Can we at this point ask why the North didn't produce Shekau or why haven't the North given to relevant authorities those responsible behind the havoc wrecked by the 4th most deadliest terrorist group in the world i.e. Fulani Herdsmen?
PoliticsRe: Oil Marketers Lament Forex Scarcity, Fuel Scarcity Imminent by besttrader: 8:39pm On May 21, 2016
There goes the fraud again, the federal government sets dollar parity naira at approximately N280 for oil marketers and subsequently jacks fuel prices to N145 per litre benchmark. These marketers now wanna put the government in a tight corner where CBN still has to source FX for them at N199. So what's the yardstick for the hike in pump price?

And who are these oil marketers? Your guess is as good as mine - friends of government!

Your hopeless region and it's refugee people will never near our seat of power ever again. If I had my I will islamise all these bloody Yeasterners.
You need to head back to your history classes and possibly you'll discover that the religion you are so proud of was handed down to your forefathers via the sword (coercion). I don't think they'll be proud of you from their graves. Go read the history of Islam and Africa.....!!! As a Black African if you allow foreign gods define the way you relate with your fellow black brothers, then all I can say is shame on you.

Maybe you should engage rather than curse, don't you think it is more civilized to do so. The way you act epitomizes someone with a defeatist mentality. Grow up dude! I was just stating the obvious, I would have expected you to respond appropriately.

As a matter of fact, I don't expect much from you having seen your epic display of fooley.

What good is it if someone doesn't steal public funds yet he has some chronic kleptomaniacs in his government. For me it is the same thing, purge you inner cabinet and then then move on to the system, only then can all these make sense to me.
