Simple things like ambulances to convey the wounded in Nigeria seems like rocket science to us. Considering their (political class) refusal to fix our roads and make them safer, they still can't deliver simple things like ambulances at intervals on our busiest highways. It's really appalling when one looks at how the black man has conducted himself post-independence. Really sad I must say. I wish him quick recovery, knowing it can't be same again for him. I just wish him well moving forward.

I really don't know why we (blacks) keep calling on God at the sight of things like this. It is stupid, God has given us everything we need to excel as a race - natural resources, brilliant minds, etc.

We should rather ask questions and proffer solutions. That is why God made us higher beings and gave us will power.

Why the accidents? Do we add more lanes? Have we fixed all the pot holes on our roads? Are there proper markings on our roads as regards safety? Ask questions, black people, then get to work...!! God will be looking at us and shaking his head at this point in time. What a race?

Lights guide him home, we'll all be here for a while... May we all have it easy and peaceful when our time comes in Jesus mighty name (since I believe in him).

Our cities have always lacked proper design...!! This just shows how we carve out land, raise land fees and forget to do the basics.

Well, things like this have been sorted already by smart folks in Japan/Netherland, etc. All we need do is to copy such engineering standards, but the black man would rather loot, buy flashy cars, take his numerous concubines for oversea shopping, at the expense of the needful.

It's always a shame when avoidable floods like this are seen in our cities.

Ask them the millimeter of rainfall that can result to flooding within a specified timeframe? This is just classless leadership on all fronts.

I'll try and retrieve the email I got from the same useless customs when my shipment got in from Hong Kong, these guys almost ruin my budding business at that time. The gave me a reckless duty of around N140,000. I really didn't know how they came up with that figure, the shipment came in via DHL and I was given 1 week or else I'll start incurring demurrage.


There's no ease of doing business in Nigeria. Those folks in government understand nothing about stimulating an economy and how to go about it. It was a terrible experience, it was back and forth with customs for close to 2 months, before my goods were handed over to DHL for onward delivery.


Seriously, I really don't know what to say. considering this is Nigeria, if you can get a highly placed custom official to broker things for you, please do it. Else, your business will suffer and your income will shrink over time (just maybe). really sorry bro!

It's like we don't have affinity for style or grandeur, why can't we build things that are impressive? Is this the sort of Nursing schools they send their kids abroad to attend? Nigeria why? If you're not ready to build things, don't mess the land with one nonsense and call it a higher institution.

Humility is when you allows state institutions work (a template for all states)... Fund state hospitals in a manner that allow them to respond to emergencies with ambulances. Design a system that people can ring in to say 176 for emergencies and this unit reroutes such calls to your hospitals for ambulances or police for backup. That is what humility is...!!!

Not when you loot all funds and show up making calls... So who the heck are you calling? Is the Deputy Governor going to move around all accident scenes to make calls for help? It's going to take us a long way in Nigeria.

I've seen someone with even worse spots, they just use vinegar (you can get that around supermarts), mix with the appropriate quantity of water and use cotton wool dabbed in the solution to clean your face after bathing at night/day. It did magic, hope it does same for you. Cheers!
