The guy you quoted is not suggesting a rail line out of love but out of envy over the Anambra airport city. I know these people very well, they are not just happy over the airport project, that is why everyone of them have turned economic adviser all of a sudden.

There is no means of transportation that is not good. But the truth is that rail way project won't be accomplished easily because not just in Anambra but also inall the state, the railways links needs to be renovated. Innovation of Airport in Anambra will make it easier for a lot of traders that travell outside either through Asaba or Enugu Airport. It will also reduce it cost of Extra charge for transporting down from Enugu/Asaba airport.

This is a good move by our Governor, building the best airport in Nigeria will make anambra a center of attraction in Nigeria, most airlines would like to make there their main base of operations. Of course enough revenue will also be generated with this.
Employment index will also increase, I'm sure this will create more than 2,000 jobs for anambra people.

Anambra airport city will be Nigeria's busiest and most viable airport in Nigeria after Lagos and Abuja. Anambra has the largest middle class population after Lagos.

Less people travel by air in Nigeria, the already existing airports lack patronage ,that is not to say that they ain't needed, fix the economy ,create more mid class citizens and you'll see that every state owning an airport is very viable
