The ability to coordinate not only yourself, but the scheduling of the entire team helping with the event. It’s all about planning, and re-planning and scheduling.
2) Resourcefulness-
In my opinion, this is the most important. With years of experience in events, there is always something that requires a creative fix. Whether it be a piece of tape, or re-working a display because the display across the aisle looks too much like yours. You have to be very resourceful and use what you have. Ability to pool together the individuals you need.
3) Communication-
Share your ideas and your vision openly with your team. Communicate on a level that is respectful to everyone. Do not talk down to anyone, regardless of their role. Everyone has their part and it ultimately leads to your success, make sure you communicate clearly and respectfully. Accept criticism and be open to new ideas.
4) Passion-
Without passion you cannot over come the bumps and triumph when all seems lost. I can train time management, but I cannot teach passion.
5) Strong will, but a level head-
You have to be able to carry out your vision and sometimes crack the whip to get it done. Resolve problems and issues quickly. And you must be able to stand calm at zero hour when something doesn’t go your way. Your team should look to you for everything, the last thing they need is a shaky leader that makes rash decisions because they crack under pressure.

Third, an event manager needs to be flexible. In any event, things can and will change with a moments notice. The event manager needs to be able to, for lack of a better word, PUNT.
Fourth, an event manager must be responsible. Regardless of what goes right and what goes wrong, the success of an event, and all it’s coordinates, is the managers responsibility.
Fifth, a successful event manager needs to be enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. Enthusiasm and passion brings about creativity and generates excitement. Maybe, this should be #1!

Use Little Data to Generate Test Ideas
Marketing relies on testing to improve results. While testing is a fine example of data-driven decision-making, marketers often fall short in using data to generate test ideas.
Test ideas are mostly generated by a creative ideation process, untethered to any data.

For example, a credit card company wanted to improve performance of a landing page that talked about “No Annual Fee.” The conversation centered on critiquing the images and call to action buttons. They decided to bring some data in and looked at the source of traffic. Most of the volume was coming from paid search, using the search term “0% APR.” The page, which talked about “no annual fee,” was completely misaligned with what users were seeking.
The Little Data approach in this case would entail looking at the source of traffic to a site and understanding the intent — data that is easily available in Web analytics reports.

Understanding the user intent helps generate a data-driven hypothesis. In this case, the page did not meet the needs of the user and, hence, had a low conversion rate.
Use data to inform your hypothesis and then overlay it with a creative process to generate tests.

Lool,I saw this somewhere, had to share it.
Either they think they're god, know it all, seen it all, and MUST knock down others either by icy/mean/jaded stares, get annoyed too easily, have to be in control, and feel confident, and what not, or they're too insecure or have 10000 issues, self-doubt.....I mean it varies from the REALLY egotistic, narcissistic types, to the other side of the spectrum, it's like..it's hard to find a man in general who's "normal", well put-together, is able to be selfless, etc.

They all act like they either have something to prove, have to be better than you, drive a better car than you, work a better job than you, something has to be superior.

I understand all about survival, competition, and the need to be on top......as an unfortunate bi-product of evolution but...

can't they act more civilized and "humane" rather than....the way they truly are?

1. Realization

The hardest part about getting over your #crush is realizing that he doesn't like you the same way that you like him. The realization might be the first step, but it's the hardest step to take. While you may like the guy, while you may even love him, if he doesn't feel the same, you can't force it – no matter how much you try to.

2. Admit That You Have a Crush

Once you've come to the realization that he might not have the same feelings you have for him, you've got to admit that you have a crush. I know it can be hard girls, but even if you just stand in front of your mirror and admit to yourself that you have a #crush, you'd be amazed how much that makes a difference and how it is almost like extracting the poison. 3. Accept the Situation
