For MS in Germany, so many schools i'm researching are asking for English Language test.

Please is this a common occurrence or am i not checking the right schools?

I'm going for an English-taught MSc related to Agriculture / Agribusiness and Food processing.

Also some schools are asking for tuition fee.

Yes, it's common for schools to ask for that. But, sometimes, they can accept a letter from your university stating that you learnt in English. Email the school to find out specifically.

Yes, private schools have tuition fees and some courses in some private schools also have tuition fees. But, recently, there's been talk from universities in Bavaria that they want to re-introduce tuition fees for students from third-world countries. It all depends on what and where you're searching

Although the most recent update is #180,000 if your appointment is in Lagos, do well to avail yourself with more than that just in case.

Check nigeria.diplo.de

I think you're answering for the wrong question. Visa fee hasn't reached that.

What you're answering for is verification of documents

You guys should start considering the Finland route I talked about a few days ago

I planned on using SL to travel, plus I already know some German. I'm going for a BSc, with no knowledge of the Finnish language abi Dutch. I don't have a sponsor there.

So, it's not as easy as just considering your suggestion, even if it's a good one.

Nobody said anything about staying in Togo or Benin for 6 months although some folks do it ( they know what’s at stake). What I was pointing out is having a valid 6-month residency before proceeding to the Embassy.
It means Togo & Benin is now your temporary address.

Can you write out your email, please? I can't seem to find it on your profile.

Hello guys pls i need your opinion on this!!
Sch resume oct 16th in Germany
If for example someone gets Ad by Nov or december
Can you still go for your interview ?

Sure, but you should have a letter from your university allowing you to resume at a time later than October 16th. If not, you're risking a refusal.

Please, when did you book your appointment?

Good day.

Do you know if it's possible to use private health insurance for enrolment at TH-Rosenheim if you're less than 30 years old?

Also, do you know any scholarship programs open to Masters students in STEM?

Thank you.

For your first question, just ask them. But, I think statutory (public) health insurance is usually compulsory.

Second, use the daad website

Good morning guys. Please I need help from you guys. Due to my busy work schedule, I need assistance on German school application in a public university. If any one who have the experience can help me on that, we then discuss the process and what it will take. Thanks.

You can email japa.prep.assist@gmail.com. They help with that plus it's affordable. They'll explain the whole process and have you weigh your options before paying.

Hello guys,

Does having B2 enable me apply as Category A?

Thanks.

Somehow, I feel you know it doesn't, but you're hoping it does.

For you to know about category A and B, you should also know what qualifies you and as of now, the Germany embassy in Nigeria has not updated the list

Good day guys, my passport is about to expire next year june and I want to apply for Visa appointment under category B. I heard it takes up to a year and 6 months to get an appointment, so I would like to book now as I'm still sorting out my admission with the school. Would I have to use the passport that is about to expire or I have to apply for new one first and use it for the Visa application...

Book with your old passport and carry both passports to the embassy at the time of your interview.

Please which school is best for studying Data science in Germany with English
And is waec needed

You can use your WAEC Certificate + your 100 Level transcript (that's your result from 100 level). WAEC alone is not enough to apply to German Universities.

So let's say he/she waited 8 weeks to get AM.

But is it true if they do not send any rejection email in the first 3 weeks you have a high chance of getting AM?

Most times, yes. Usually, when people wait up to a month without any rejection email, then it's AM. But, you fit still wait still get rejection.

Omo!!! I booked Feb this year, and by my calculations then, my AD should come latest in March or April next year. With the current waiting time of 1yr and 6 months, it's gonna be by August next year.

Do you all think my start date for summer 2024 in the application will affect my AD? I wish I can change to winter 2024.

I just have to get a scholarship now and apply CAT A.

Your start date will not affect your AD as long as you have a valid admission at the time you get the AD

My hubby booked Feb 20 2022, got AD for June 1, 2023. He is waiting for AM since then.
What could be the reason for this delay? Winter semester starts in October

There's usually a delay. It's at the point where your application is sent to the Foreign office in Germany for them to make a decision. Usually, it takes around 3 months at most I think. But, I know someone who got AD same time as your husband and just received AM some time last week. So, wait a little and then email the embassy with some details (screenshots) of his progress.

Hi, please I need advice on this
My bachelor's certificate and passport both has different middle names. while my birth certificate given at birth from the hospital has just my surname and name. Should I be worried because my AD will likely come out this year.
Is there anything I can do to this effect.

Get an affidavit of change of name
Did you change your name or the mistake came from missing out one of your own names?

Please with the new development on the waiting period to 18months now, I booked just June this year please can I get admission for summer 2024 and defer it to 2025 because that seems like the year I would be given AD

I would my suggest you wait before you apply to schools. Instead, before you apply to the universities, email them and ask them if they will allow deferral of your program and how long deferral can go. (But, to defer, you may need to keep paying their enrollment fee - have that in mind)

As for application, you should just start getting ready to apply for next year's ((2024)) winter admission but with plans to defer it to (Summer 2025 or winter of 2025

This is the second time in this month I received this. Hence it's officially over 18 months waiting period

No, it isn't. It's currently as 16 months. They've been sending that for a while now. Even when it was still at 14 or 15 months.

They are possibly sending it now to spread the awareness because the people booking this year will have to wait for 1½ years or more sef. You know how Nigeria things dey be
